Great coffee and lattes. This location can be busy with a line out the door depending on time of day.

The people behind the counter we eloquent and efficient along with being kind and patient. My wife was pretty indecisive and they worked with us till she finally knew what she wanted. The food was delicious, we got the Lox Bagel and the Dirty Avocado toast. I'll admit it's very difficult to mess those two meals up, they elevated both of them. The whole reason we went though was for coffee and we were FAR from disappointed. We got the Blood Orange Basil Latte and the Blackberry Vanilla Latte and both tasted perfect, each sip of the Blood Orange Basil had a nice scent of basil with the leaf in there. You really can't go wrong here, the tables outside gave you a nice area to sit relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. A+ 10/10 no notes, excepts for the positive ones above. Not saying anyone's review is wrong but the 2 Star review definitely was incorrect

Iced Honey Lavender Latte now costs $7.50 ;( The barista…read moredid accommodate me when I asked for half sweet, and it was made very well. The drink itself is delicious, but not sure if I would come every week for this price (personally). Maybe just once in a while! The interior space got revamped so that the workers have more wiggle room, that was cool to see. I didn't see much else that changed though-- oh besides that and the prices. The week before, I ordered the $7.25 Iced Blood Orange Basil Latte (seasonal special). I was eager to try it because I do enjoy citrus notes with my coffee. But this one lacked the flavors I was hoping to taste. It was all too subtle for me. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. 4-5 stars! Overall, I've enjoyed my many visits to 7 Seas Roasting & been here through many changes. I do think the coffee drinks are pretty solid and would recommend checking out their seasonal specials when they have them. My top favorites would be: dark mocha raspberry, banana split latte, and the thin mint latte. If you ever see these on the menu, I highly recommend trying them! They have ample seating, outdoors only. The baristas are alll very kind too. It's a great place to spend your time at.

Inside is cute and love the seating areas. They have pick up/mobile order, makes for convenient ordering! First of all, I want to say this has been one of my favorite coffee spots in san diego for years…read more The campfire mocha is amazing and worth every penny. Ive brought friends here in the past and have always gotten positive feedback afterwards. Recently though, it feels like it's lost a little of its charm. The menu needs updating because with all the crossed out items on the board, it looks a little low end and like they're out of things. But they also always seem to be out of multiple items when I come these days. There's no food options any more most of the time, but the display cases remain. And seating... it feels like they got rid of 1-2 tables and the tables that were outside. There never seems to be enough seating so it's both cramped while also empty looking now. They have these side benches to sit on, but no one ever uses them because they're not super comfortable or good to chat with anyone with. Also, the bathroom. It's usually open, but twice now Ive been in there where there's zero toilet paper or the paper towel dispenser is out, but someone has just put a roll on top to tear at your own will. I loved this place so I hate saying more negative than good. The drinks remain amazing, but for a spot that is so popular, it's losing some of its own charm.

The esthetic is really nice and as good as the coffee. It looks like they have seasonal offering that changes with the four seasons of the year. For spring seasonal I had a pistachio latte. I really liked what I can only assume is their in house syrup. Think Starbucks pistachio latte, but two times better. This coffee place is for those who don't do Starbucks. Vanilla flat white was just as good. I would say Carlsbad for coffee this place is a must stop.

My latte was garbage, it tasted like a glass of milk no joke. No flavor, at all. If I wanted a glass of milk for $8 I would've gone to the store and bought a gallon and poured it over ice. Literally just tasted like milk and nothing else. See below how pale and ass my latte looks for $8!!! DO NOT COME HERE YOUR LATTE WILL LITERALLY JUST TASTE LIKE MILK. I watched the barista pour soooo much milk into my drink. And no, I didn't ask for extra milk. The cashier rung it up that way for no reason. Ridiculous mistake, if I ask for light ice why would that mean I want extra milk that makes it a 12oz glass of milk??? Yikes
