I had the shredded chicken chimichanga. It was really good, there was actually too much chicken, which caused it to be a bit dry after a few minutes. But I really enjoyed my lunch very large portion for a lunch menu. Service was excellent, but the air conditioner was apparently broken because it was warm inside and they had lots of fans running. The Mexican food was great, large portions. My husband had driven by this location multiple times, you can see it from Interstate 65 because it is on the service road near all the hotels. I like the atmosphere, very relaxed, dark & shady, the booths we sat in were real cozy. They had a good playlist going of Mexican music, and a good stereo. Husband had enchiladas, I had a poblano dish. Both came with beans and rice. Husband had Coke, I had Diet Coke, I think. We haven't been here for about 18 months - they have revamped the menu and staff. The manager was fantastic during our visit tonight! We had the steak street tacos and stuffed poblano plate. Both were delicious! Beans in a corn tortilla bowl was ingenious , rice was moist and salsa was homemade. Thank you for the changes you all made and in the hospitality you all showed us. This is one of my favorite Mexican cantinas. They have the best authentic tacos. The corn tortillas are fresh and delicious along with your choice of protein cooked with onions and cilantro. Sprinkle on a little verde salsa and yum! I'm also a big fan of their chimichangas. It's fried to perfection and their cheese sauce is not too thick. My husband gets their fajitas but warning they do put mushrooms in with meat, peppers, and onions, so if you're not a fungi...you may want to ask for to leave them out like my hubs. The chips are fresh and the salsa is fabulous. The service is a little lacking sometimes, mostly the hosts. They don't seem as friendly. The servers are better though, but you do want to feel welcome. read more

Just had dinner there minutes ago. I sat at the bar. Instead of getting chicken tacos I got beef. I didn't have to say anything about this the discount was automatic. The chips and salsa are super good. The beans are nicely seasoned. I don't like the soggy hard shell but would order again, all the flavor hides there. Second time here..this time by myself. I got the shredded beef chimichanga. Shredded beef wasn't listed but I asked and the kitchen made it happen. The beef was seasoned well and tender. My only con is that is wasn't deep fried and I LOVE a crispy shredded beef chimi and it had cheese sauce not red. HELLO!! Service is spot on and the margaritas are excellent. I came here with the intention of getting some drinks having fun and eating good but I got the opposite! My bartender Jen was very rude ! She didn't greet me or say anything but when I asked her what was the problem she bought up other issue that had nothing to do with me , I've been here before and she's never greeted me or asked me if I needed anything , I know a few people there so I can ask them for stuff but when I ask her it's a full blown attitude or a straight out no , I love this place but I won't be visiting when she is there she makes me Uncomfortable and just not welcomed , I'll stick to visiting my favorite bartender from the times of 3-6pm she's the best ! read more

Waitress was very nice and service was ok, but you could tell she didn't have her flow down of how to best serve the tables. Staying at the Hampton down the road and they are close so I thought, why not. They do not have happy hour on Friday, Sat, or Sunday. Oh well. They do not have anything on tap. All bottles.
