I love this place so much. The portions are big and worth the money you're spending. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I got the quesabirria tacos and it came with so much I couldn't finish it. I also ordered the dirty margarita and it was so good. They have so many different flavours of margaritas you can choose so many options. The patio upstairs is super nice too, it really brings the Mexican feel the place. I already brought some friends here and I can't wait to go again with more.

Went for the happy hour and had a really great time. We made a reservation in advance and got our table right away. 1/2 price margaritas and $6 menu items can't be beat. I had the mad mango margarita, the chicken empanada, fried chicken taco, and some chips with salsa. Everything was delicious. Service was great. Our server was really nice. The vibes were good. It was upbeat and fun. I'll definitely be back.

My fave taco spot for happy hours! These are what you called tacos. My fav was the tuna tostada, it's like ceviche on a shell/chip. The birria tacos was so good too, big portion as well. The fish tacos was flavourful and pairs well with the sauce. My favorite was the mini churros. It was cute, small, crispy and the dip was amazing! Waiter and staffs were nice and welcoming.

Always in search of some good Mexican food in Toronto & I think we found a good one! Parking is on the street. There are a lot of Greenp lots and spots nearby. We were lucky to find one close to the restaurant. The restaurant ambience is amazing and is a good spot for a date night or even to hang with a few friends. The crew was wonderful! They got our order on time, food was on time and cheque was on time too. They have good vegetarian taco options. We ordered cauliflower and poblano pepper taco, sweet potato taco, tinga chicken taco, and a couple of frescas ( they are made fresh everyday ) yumm.. Their tres leches cake is to die for ( do not miss this even if you are full ) We enjoyed our time here and will come back with friends and family.

$6 Happy Hour?? SIGN ME UP ‍ Everyday from 4-7pm, La Chingada is serving up their most popular dishes for only $6!! Of course I had to jump in and see how much I can get for $6 Had to start with the classic Chips & Guac, it looked small but halfway through we were lowkey stuffed great bang for your buck! We also got the Carnitas Taco & the Fried Chicken Taco pretty decent for $6! Not pictured is their $6 Margaritas! It was so refreshing I didn't even had a chance to take a pic This is just their weekly happy hour specials, their daily ones are worth it too! On Thursdays, it's AYCE Tacos for $29! Better come in with an empty stomach Not to mention they have a cozy back patio, so be sure to check it out before the chill starts to kick in! Food: 7.5/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 8.5/10

Stopped by on a Friday night and made it just in time for happy hour. It was our first time there and La Chingda definitely did not disappoint! Happy hour is everyday from 4-7pm. All small bites are $6, tequila shots $6 and margaritas are 50% off. Ordered 6 tacos, 2 tostados, empanadas and chips and guac. Everything tasted great and you can't go wrong with the price. The place was busy at 7pm but the servers were very attentive. Can't wait to go back for more bomb Mexican food and yummy margaritas. BTW, there's AYCE tacos for $34.50!

Came here for Thursday night happy hour and we were seated at the bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and had great vibes. We ordered a few tacos, ceviche, guac and chips and margaritas which were 50% off. I enjoyed the blackened fish taco but probably would not reorder cauliflower as I found that one to be a bit too salty. The guac was alright although i wish there were more avo and less onions. I'd skip the ceviche next time as well, and our of the margaritas, strawberry was the best. Overall i'd say its a good causal place for some snacks and light drinks. Food was okay but service is great here with very nice and attentive staff!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while simply because of the name (don't ask/look up what it means if you're offended by cursing)! I visited with a friend for happy hour on a Tuesday and had a great meal. Margaritas are half off ($5) and I tried the Tropical Heat and it was excellent. Perfect balance of liquor and juice. We split the chips and guac and chips and pico de gallo ($5 each for happy hour). For my entree I got the chicken tinga and barbacoa tacos with a side of rice. I loved the chicken and the barbacoa was good but I was expecting more flavor from the meat. That being said, both tacos had a good balance of flavors. My friend had the fish taco and fried chicken taco and said both were very good. We really enjoyed our meal here and the service was friendly and attentive. I'm glad I finally tried La Chingada!

Best nachos in the city! Definitely add the chorizo and they become top tier. Tacos were alright, out of the two I got, the chingada taco was better. It's one of the more pricier places in the city for tacos but I personally think the nachos were worth it! Looking forward to trying their AYCE tacos sometime soon! Personally the interior is a little dark during the day with the dark painted walls but it seems it looks cozy at night with all the string lights.

My friends and I came to La Chingada for a birthday dinner and it was decked out in lights and decor for Christmas. This was our first time here so not sure if it's usually decorated this well, but the vibes were great! Our server was nice and the food came out promptly. What we got: - Chips and Salsa (Pico de gallo, guacamole, and salsa borracha) - Taste of Mexico Platter (Chorizo, Pastor, Carne Asada, Refried Beans, Mexican rice, pineapple, whole roasted street corn, scallions, jalapenos, and 8 fresh tortillas) - Mad Mango Margarita - Strawberry Margarita - Spicy Margarita - Pineapple Paradise - Taste of Summer My Favs: - Chips with pico and guac - The Chorizo and Pastor were my favourite meats Final Thoughts: The platter was plenty of food for our party of 5 and it was pretty good. I found the carne asada on the dry side and I wish the corn had more seasoning all the way around as the bottom was just plain corn once you ate the sauce on top. I liked how you could assemble your own tacos and enjoyed the flavour added by the scallions.

Came by yesterday and it was pretty busy. So it turns out that Thursday nights are all you can eat taco nights. I was intrigued for sure. We had the street corn and a few tacos. Opted out of the AYCE taco experience. $25 which is a pretty good deal. The street corn was very tasty! We had the jerk chicken, pork, beef and fish taco. The tortilla was a bit too thick for my liking. The jerk chicken and beef were dry and rough. The fish taco was average My favorite was the pork taco. They offer a couple of hot sauces for you to use. The service is very attentive. The drinks were really good. I had an overall good experience but the food missed the mark.

Came here with my friends for happy hour where they have deals for food and drinks for only $5! I got the blackened fish tacos which consisted of cajun blackened basa, house slaw mix, valentina mayo, and cilantro served on a fresh soft corn tortilla. It was good! I also shared the guac and chips with my friends and it was delicious! I also ordered the Palotina (didn't know it wasn't a margarita so I was charged full price instead of th 50% happy hour deal ;( ). Service and ambience was excellent and I would definitely return even to try their all you can eat tacos!

I went here yesterday to try their happy hour, and the experience I had was horrible. The waiters were extremely passive aggressive and was not welcoming. The waiter almost seemed to judge us because we only ordered a few dishes. After we were about to leave, they made a remark about the amount of our tips out loud, which was the first time I've ever heard someone criticize the amount of a customers tips. Service was horrible, the food was mediocre to nearly no flavour. For $6 a taco, it was not good. Do not recommend and will NOT be coming back.

Parking was a challenge, but there is a Green P that is about 5-8 minutes away that isn't too bad if the weather is good. The atmosphere is quite intimate and I did find myself bumping into other people / staff when going to and from the washroom, etc. The food was pretty good - the tacos were full of flavour and I got to try a variety by sharing with the group. I think my favourite was the beef barbacoa. The prices are definitely a bit up there for a Mexican restaurant, I believe the tacos were around $7 each. The quality made it worth it, but there's definitely other places in Toronto that serve up a great taco for nearly half the price. We also tried a couple of appetizers, including the nachos, guac and ceviche. The nachos were something special - it was a bit of a nacho pizza. I didn't expect that from Playa Cabana, given everything else was very authentic. The taste was good, but it was a bit of a challenge to share! The highlight of the night was definitely the desserts - we ordered the tres leches cake, and the churros. Definitely the best churro I've ever had.

The inside was nice, it was dark with ambient lighting and decorated with a modern and Mexican theme. The waitress was super nice, and the staff were fairly attentive. We got the chips and guac to start. I do wish they gave a little bit more walk because it came in this really small cup so we had to go light on the guac to chip ratio. But overall the guac was yummy and the chips were very crunchy with a nice seasoning. They have a special every day of the week and Thursdays are there crunch tacos, which are hard shell tacos, wrapped in a soft shell taco with some sauce in between, and you can choose between their chorizo or chicken. We got one of each. I liked the chicken more but my partner liked the Chorizo. And all the toppings the perfect Fixin's. They only had three washroom stalls, which were gender neutral, and I thought they were relatively clean.

Hacienda is located on College Street, very close to Sneaky Dees, in a bit of a tucked away, inconspicuous location. The interior is fantastic and the atmosphere is authentic. There are a lot of reviews that knock this place for service, but that's not really the point of this restaurant. It's a family run place where the focus is food and soccer (when it's on) if you need something, you may need to call the serve over yourself, but that's no big deal cocerning the food. The tacos are the best I've had in the City. At three tacos for $12, it's hard to go wrong. After reading some of the previous reviews, the beef tongue was an obvious choice. I'm not too big in beef personallty, but the meat was so tender and almost melted. Next was the chorizo taco. It was fantastic. The chorizo wasn't overly salty like in a lot of other Mexican restaurants, which made a huge difference. The flavor was deep and rich, and paired perfectly with the salsa. Lastly was the carnitas. It's hard to make carnitas as good as Seven Lives, but wow, these were something else. The carnitas were tender, juicy, and perfectly crispy. The corn tortillas were also made in-house and were fresh and delocious. The servers also bring two sauces to the table - one salsa verde (green salsa) and one hot sauce. Both were great but be careful with the hot sauce, it's a heavy hitter! Pro tip: get a Mexican Coke, it's amazing! Hacienda is the best taco place is the City. Seven Lives is a close second, but Hacienda has them beat in terms of authenticity and flavor. Put this place on your go-to list, it will it dissapoint. 5/5

We also ordered the classic quesadilla with chicken, which the staff recommended. It was a little on the dry side, but still very crispy and comforting, almost like cheesy chicken stuffed inside a toasted flatbread. One thing I really liked was the self-serve sauce bar. They had so many options, and I especially liked the pineapple, tomato, and suave sauces. If you enjoy spicy food, the habanero is worth trying too, and I loved that their sauce labels had little faces showing how painful the heat would be. It was such a funny touch.
