Chimichanga and Burrito combo

The food is good, we both offered the two items special - the grande - service was good, it wasn't busy when we got there so we got seated quickly - cute restaurant in a small strip mall in covington - our waitress was nice - supporting local business

Chicken Fajitas Lunch

Although the food was good I would of gave it a five star if the salsa with the chips was flavorful. We ordered enchiladas, macho burrito, and fajitas plate. I like the burrito but it was sparingly with any sauce sadly. Also the top of my burrito was not folded just a piece of flour tortilla flapped there just had to point that out. My granddaughter barely touched her fajita plate expecting the chicken grilled it was not sadly. Chicken enchiladas were a little dry in side would of been nice more sauce as well.

So I tried La Chata last week, and I went here again because it was so good! The first time I came, I was greeted by a lovely lady and she took care of us from start to finish very well. Kept our drinks full, had the perfect amount of socializing yet keeping it professional, got our check quickly with boxes, etc. Also, our food was incredible. I got my daughter the chicken tenders to try and I have considered going here for lunch and pretending to get my daughter chicken tenders they're that good lol i think they're hand breaded. I specially went here because 3 of the restaurants in MV don't have enchiladas a la crema and that was what i was craving this day, so i searched and came across this place to try it. It was a pleasantttt surprise to get a jalepeno crema. Spicy yet delicious. Also has a homemade coleslaw which is very pleasing and gives a little freshness. My husband usually orders An American dish or something simple. He got an enchilada and a chimichanga and it was so good he got it again the second time he went. We went again the other day because i was so pleased with my experience the week before. We all ordered the same things. The adult entrees were perfect. My daughters children tenders were kinda burnt and sad this time but i wasn't going to trip because KIDS EAT FREE on tuesdays?? Hell yes! The reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I'm sad that the service i received the second time was so opposite. Barely any checking in, and took almost 15 min to get a check after our plates were 100% empty. I might update after a few more tries if they step up the game in service cuz the food is great!

Flan!!! MMMM MMMMM GOOOOOD

Excellent place to enjoy a meal out. The service is outstanding, and when I say that I mean it with every ounce of that word. They never drop the ball; and are very attentive to every single customer. Their food is fresh, flavorful, and always delicious while beautifully presented. Their drinks are incredible as well! This place is a must try. The bartenders margarita is our favorite but their new blood orange is a second fav! Their drinks are never poured light either so be prepared to feel the good times roll in We have never been disappointed at this restaurant. It's a great little gem on the outskirts of covington.

Pork Verde lunch. Only thing I ate was the beans and a few pieces of meat. Enough to know I didn't like it.

Covington WA. Not very good. Had the pork verde lunch. Rice came out hard like it's been sitting all day, and it was 1245. The pork was terrible. Hard and not seasoned well. I expected carnitas style meat, soft like, and it was far from that. The server and I were talking about it and she said she wouldn't eat it either. I Left most of it on my plate. I know where I won't be eating in Covington. The server was great and she gave me a discount because I sent so much food back and told her why. She understood completely.

by far my favorite mexican food, purchase the salsa just to have at home. Try the Macho Burrito or the Carne Asada burrito

The long: steak culture is incredibly mundane and steakhouses themselves often overcommit and underdeliver. Vue has cracked the code bringing flavor to steak houses. They go beyond the traditional salt and pepper approach and introduce Mexican and Hmong flavors in their dishes. If haven't had the honor of dining in a home from either culture, you're in for a treat. I personally like their New York strip Their family love can be felt in the decor, the interactions, the attention to the customers and the food. For me these were flavors and the culture of care I grew up with. So I'm exited for their success, mark my words they will be the best steakhouse in Washington in the next 2 years. They're working with something special here.

We were very happy with everything and will be back!

This unassuming permanent food truck with…read morecovered outdoor seating has so much personality and the person who took my order was a total sweetheart. I got a few tacos consisting of lengua (tongue), carnitas (fried pork), pollo (chicken), and asada (steak). It came out to me on a beautiful ceramic plate better than what I find at most Mexican restaurants! There was a salsa bar with 3 different salsas (green, red, orange) that all had just a little heat to them but were all great. All the tacos were delicious but the carnitas stood out as insanely good. I also tried the jamaica (hibiscus tea) which was light and not too sweet which I enjoyed. Tried the horchata too which was thinner than I'm used to but I really liked it, had a great flavor that was also not too rich or sweet. I will definitely need to come back here to try more stuff.

I did a basic order of the 3 taco plate and a horchata. The horchata was delicious and better than most, so was excited to taste the tacos. The asada taco was delicious, but OMG, the carnitas tacos were definitely the star of my order. Moist and perfectly seasoned, I am still thinking about these tacos! Best part is that the wait was minimal and the people working were super nice!
