I also asked for a side of shredded lettuce and tomato for the steak and guacamole. I received a garden salad (which was basically only lettuce) topped with ground beef and Italian dressing, and a large side of gauc. the woman who took my order at the bar spoke little English, looked confused about my order, and also was extremely unfriendly when I tried to re-explain. When I got the food I tried to tell them the order was not correct. They were not interested in resolving it. The server looked at me and just stared, made no comment. Unfortunately I was running low on time bc I had to get back to the hospital and I was unable to solve the issue, so I asked to pay and the bill was $30. For lettuce and ground beef. I also asked for 2 sodas and got one. Don't go there expecting friendly service. You won't get it. And the food was average.

They quickly brought out tortilla chips with a homemade salsa and hot sauce. I chose the chimichangas in queso sauce. Hubby had the enchiladas in mole sauce. Mine was ok. I wasn't expecting the food to be drenched in sauce. If you like queso sauce, this is for you. The rice was ok, but felt like it was missing something. My husband's enchilada tasted good he said. Service was fine. They did check on us to ask if everything was good. Appreciated that. This was a lunch, and there were no lunch offerings. Found that surprising. Could offer that and plate smaller portions. I mention that because lunch was over $50. Overall, could use better decorations outside and inside. And perhaps offer more reasonable lunch options. Our opinion, but was worth visiting. You never know when you'll find a diamond in the rough.

I used the remaining amount of sauce to give the yellow rice a boost. My husband had the chicken fajitas. He liked the portion size he had enough for leftovers. The chicken was tender. He would have liked the containers of guac and sour cream to be bigger or more of them. I would eat at Los Riveras again.

I always see this food truck in the distance traveling on Federal Rd in Danbury and wondered what…read morethe food could be like? On my day off this week I finally gave it a try. I thought it was cool this food truck has those buzzers like a restaurant so you're able to order food then wait in your car. I ordered a steak quesadilla. When I went to pay I saw on paper they had empanadas. I treated myself and stayed with both. The quesadilla came out hot. It had peppers, onions and some type of leafy green. I really dont like leafy greens so that turned me off a bit. Luckily it was light and could not be heavily tasted. The beef in the quesadilla was good quality and tasted good. The star was the beef empanada though. It was BIG and so delicious. The outside was nicely browned and crispy. The beef inside moist and flavorful. I almost went back today to get more. The next time I go I hope they have beef as well as cheese empanadas. I found the prices of what I ordered was reasonable.

We started with guacamole because who doesn't love that and it was great. It was fresh, a very large serving of it, and I'm embarrassed to say the three of us pretty much finished it all. I decided to go with the smothered burrito (veggie option) with salsa verde and man was it big! Definitely could split between two so now I have lunch for tomorrow. The flavor was good, nothing was too overpowering and I'd for sure order it again if we return. My wife got the veggie enchiladas with mole sauce they were good without being too spicy.
