Pancakes, sausage links, bacon strips, and hashbrowns

La Casa Deli is the perfect place for business meetings. The restaurant is always clean and well kept. The music is subtle and makes talking across the table comfortable. La Casa Deli is widely known for their award-winning menudo. They offer both red and white menudo and always pair it with a toasted roll. I wanted to change it up and asked the hostess what she recommended. She recommended the Deli Breakfast which came with two pancakes, eggs, two links, two bacon strips, and a side of hashbrowns. I asked for the pancakes to be extra toasted which they were. The food was delicious.

One of my favorite dishes is the mexican vegetable and beef soup. Always hits the spot and La casa deli does a fantastic job.

    Some decor.

Tamales and Hashbrowns for breakfast? Yep, that's how I roll. While the tamales here are smaller they so serve two which restores my confidence! The filling and the masa were very good, seeing a strip of green pepper amid the shredded meat was a happy surprise! The red/ orange sauce served over the tamales was sadly tepid. Barely body temperature which is a bit of a concern. The Hashbrowns were as one would expect. The recommendation of a fellow patron to return to enjoy the dishes with tongue? I didn't see it in any dishes! I think he was pulling my leg and thought it would gross me out... on the contrary. Im a fan!

Came to Yuma this weekend to watch our grandson play football and found this gem of a Mexican food restaurant. I am always looking for great menudo for my wife so we stopped here based off of reviews and we were not disappointed. My wife loved the menudo and one of the things she loves is the little peppers and the pepper crushers, don't know real names, and they have this here. I had a bacon, sausage and ham omelette and it was very good. Very clean and friendly place with great service. I recommend this place if you are ever in Yuma.

My new favorite breakfast. Pozole and rancheros.

I want to give them 3 stars because I'm a bit disappointed with my experience but it's not the food so I will stay 4 stars for taste and value. They are too busy for their own good. I won't sit at the counter alone because there was a endless amount of to go orders that walk up and sit and wait. The staff loose sight of you since you are eating and not waiting for to go food. Next time I'll get a cozy two top in the back and hope it has the charm and fun of the old location. On a good note try huevos ranchero with a small or medium pozole for breakfast. It's my new favorite.

Best menudo and pozole in town. Cures hangovers like no other! Large amount for what you pay.

Nov, 2025. Yuma, AZ. My husband and I were traveling between Palm Springs, CA and Tucson, AZ, and…read morewe decided to eat lunch in Yuma as this was roughly the half-way point on our journey. Given the proximity of Yuma to Mexico, we decided that we wanted to eat "authentic" Mexican food. We then turned to Yelp to identify Mexican restaurants with good reviews and in close proximity to I-8, which is what brought us to Tacos Mi Rancho. The restaurant was easy to find, but every single parking space was already taken; we were able to park on the adjacent side street for free and without incident. The restaurant was busy but there were a few small tables for two available. We were greeted promptly by our friendly waitress, and we were given menus and she took our drink orders. Another server immediately brought a bowl of tortilla chips and tasty salsa (gratis). My husband and I both ordered from the "Senior Citizen Portions" menu for those aged 62 Years and Older. All entrees include beans, rice, and salad for $12.50. (Note that the entrees that we selected, as well as some other menu offerings and pozole, are on special on Friday's, the day that we visited. They were $10.99 each). My husband ordered #11, two chicken enchiladas, while I got the #12, one chili relleno/one rolled taco. I also got a horchata (a sweet and creamy non-alcoholic beverage made primarily from rice, cinnamon, and vanilla), which was served in a huge glass with ice; no refills ($3.99). We split our entrees, and all of the food was well-portioned and tasty. We felt that the meals were a good value. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the tastes were similar to those at our local Mexican restaurant back home in Virginia. The restaurant is in an old, nondescript building, but is tastefully decorated with a Mexican theme. It was clean, and workers wiped down the tables immediately after patrons left. One pet peeve was that the final bill that was given to us included only the total, so it was difficult to know whether it was correct or not. The total was $28.67, before taxes. We were able to reproduce this total as: 2 entrees at $10.99 each + 1 horchata ($3.99) + Yuma and Arizona taxes ($2.70, @ 10.41%). Overall rating: 4.5, rounded up to 5.0.

Although Yuma has a plethora of dining options, compared to other places, I've lived after three years. I still feel as though I've barely scratched the surface of what this community has to offer. Nine years ago in Texas Chili's was very convenient to our home and I remember it vividly because that was the first place we died where they handed my grandson a menu. Good grief all of a sudden he didn't seem like a baby any longer. It was as though his humanity had been legitimized in our society by this very simple act. Our waitress was very patient with those of us who arrived at 4:30 and others filtered in for up to 30 minutes. Period it was so appreciated. We were not made to wait until the entire party was there. She brought drinks quickly and efficiently. Appetizers were ordered For the table. Chili's seems to always draw, medium sized groups, ready to celebrate and the fact that the menu has a wonderful variety makes it desirable. The consistency of the product nationwide is always surprising to me. Out of eight meals served to our table we had absolutely perfect food., Large salad, simple, steak, dinners, chicken and ribs. There was absolutely no complaints or reasons to have issues resolved. Bravo Chilis Kitchen Waitstaff, and Management! Two brief suggestions, refill beverages before you arrive to sing happy birthday! And when doing so let someone at the table know you're about ready to do the happy birthday so we have time to get video set to capture the moment. This group generally gathers in the mornings, so too dress for dinner and end the day together was a real treat for all of us . The ice cream sundaes were adorable in hindsight. I would've liked to have put Sundaes on my tab for the whole table since someone else had paid for the appetizers. It might be nice too offer this to someone in the group discreetly. Thank you, Chilis For being there for us, Local ladies!
