That exact situation occurred when I visited Torch Coffee Roasters. When the barista saw I was about to snap a picture, he asked me if he could redo it. I compromised. I did not get another drink because I did not want to waste the one I got. However, I agreed to take a picture of his next latte for another customer so I had a more representative example of his skills. In terms of my latte, the presentation was subpar but the substance was very good. The texture was smooth and the taste had no hint of bitterness. Torch Coffee Roasters also had the most space of the coffee shops I tried in Seville. Accordingly, definitely get the latte to stay if you are not in a rush. The latte art is excellent if you do. I usually order espresso and/or pour over whenever I go to a coffee shop. Here, I focused on espresso and had them a few different times. Everything time it was pulled well with the machine dialed in correctly for the beans. They were also using good quality craft beans, which is setting them up for success. Had the change to try the latte as well, which was also very good. The pastries were okay, nothing special. The space itself is very inviting with lots of seating, it does get pretty loud though.

I…read morelived on Virgen de Valle only a block away and found myself studying in there almost every day. The cafe is owned by two wonderful, kind-hearted brothers, Miguel and Jesus. If you introduce yourselves to them and are friendly and personal, they will be willing to do anything for you. They will take care of you, offer you special things on the menu, even help you with your Spanish. I spent hours in there hanging out. They are the nicest guys and made my Sevilla time bearable. Plus, the food is amazing. It's the closest thing to real fresh American food. The salads are great, and the mezla de zumos are really good. I usually got fresa y naranja, I think. The hierbabuena tea is delicious (similar to what you get in Morocco) and the toffee pie is delicioussssss. That and a glass of wine will do you right.

My friends often got the frappes or juices which were also really good. The owners are very friendly. I'd highly recommend this cafe.
