    The tamales it's really good. The pupilas revueltas are good too. I don't like to much the berms flavor in the Trujillo con queso. It taste a little weird, The customer service it's really bad. The old lady she can't take our order she was to confuse taking it. Why? I don't know. I ask the combo pupusas with colors, I ask if I can change the flavor pupusas because my wife don't it revueltas, and she says not, when I get the pupusas it was with not color (was a regular). Well I travel from Layton to Ogden to try it. Buy sorry. They need to have a better service.

    I've driven by this restaurant a few times and hoped I'd be able to try it someday. There are not very many other restaurants or businesses around it so if you wanted to go here it would most likely be out of the way (just off wall avenue). I'm glad I stopped in today. It seems to be family run. I was confused at how to order or get my food. I did not see any employees when I first walked in or any signage about seating so I walked to the back of the restaurant to order at the cash register. I asked the teenager what to order since this was my first time at a Salvadorian restaurant. He said most like the empanada's but he recommended the chicken and veggie lunch plate. I also ordered a pork tamale. Once I sat down and saw the flow of the restaurant; you just take a seat where you want and they will take your order and serve you. Most orders I saw were take out. I waited about 15-20 minutes for my food to arrive. They first brought out the tamale. It was different than a Mexican tamale in that it was wrapped in some kind of leaf rather than a corn husk. The tamale also had a filling of pulled pork, beans, and potatoes. I thought the tamale here was more soggy than I normally get at a mexican restaurant and would skip this next time. Soon after, the chicken plate arrived and it was a full plate of goodness. Salad on one side, chicken breast in the middle with onions and green bell peppers on top, and rice and beans on the other side of the plate. I also was given some type of bread/tortilla (pupusas?) that I think is used to use it for the chicken and veggies. The salad was normal iceberg with a form of ranch on the side. The salad was really fresh with no wilting so that is a bonus. The chicken was so moist that I could cut it with fork. It was also full of flavor. I am not a huge fan of raw onions and raw green peppers so I was nervous a bit ordering this from the menu. I'm glad I did though because the onions and peppers were cooked to perfection. They did not have the strong flavors like they do when raw. In the end I wished I had a few extra peppers and onions (they give you plenty though). The rice and beans were good as well. Overall I was happy to try this place and experience the Salvadorian flavor. I'd like to bring my family next time to enjoy it with me. For lunch this plate was a bit too much. You get a lot of food. I recommend the chicken and onion plate, skip the tamale, and try the Pupusas.

    So happy I found this place! Great food and atmosphere. Just visiting Ogden, and plan on returning whenever I can.

    Good salvadorian food and watters it just sucks they aren't consistent with their hours, they are closed when it say's they should be open.

    The pupusa's her are fantastic. Served hot and freshly made with pickled cabbage. This place is always clean and the service is good.

Both of the papusas I got were fresh, had a good amount cheese, and the veggies were delicious. They do include the salad and tomato sauce on the side. The horchata isn't just a regular rice and water drink. There's a bunch of seeds and toasted rice blended together so you get a real nutty and almost smoke flavour. This is my 2nd favorite kind of Horchata. I've never had chapulines and a family member wanted to try them so I got a side of those as well. They didn't taste like much, mostly salty, sour, crunchy and a toasted flavor. I only ate a few because I started having flashbacks to insect videos on YouTube which have permanently ruined my eyesight. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town.
