Pretty good food, felt like the steak could've had more flavor and cook but good pupusas hard to find a good authentic spot in Utah! Ordered 5 pupusas total and took about 30 minutes for it to be a to go order. Made more so for dine in experience. Clean establishment, friendly workers, good food

Now more than just a food truck !

Nice little gem of a find here in O-Town for all lovers of Pupusa. Cafe La Vos got started on wheels with a food truck and moved to brick and mortar recently. Excellent decision so we can find them easier. Nice spot here with plenty of seating if you want to dine in and you can also order to go. The food is legit and probably the best Pupusa in the 801. My two fav's are the revuelta (mixed) and asada (steak). Two of the smaller versions will take care of me for lunch and not leave a massive hole in the wallet. Next trip I am going to have to hop on the tamales and I am 100% sure I will love them just as much.

The tomatillo sauce is amazing

If you know and love pupusas you will love this place. It's quaint and family operated. Service is attentive and professional. I moved back for authentic Latin food and this place delivered.

Three pupusas! I got the steak, pork, and chicken.

It was my first time having Salvadorian food and it was amazing. The service was also great and attentive. Will be coming back.

This place is delicious the loroco and chicharron pupusas are my favorite. Don't sleep on the guacamole or the passion fruit agua frescas they are top tier! If you haven't had pupusas they are cheesy and flavorful especially with the pickled coleslaw and tomato salsa! The service is also great they were very attentive. Go check this place out for lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed!!

A Salvadoran National Dish is la Pupusa (Stuffed Tortillas). Pupusas are, by far, the most popular food in El Salvador. Consequently, If you visit El Sombrero Azul, you need to try this traditional and inexpensive meal. You can have them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and they are basically stuffed tortillas. Salvadoran Soups The most popular Salvadoran soup is, Sopa de Mondongo (Tripe Soup) This unique soup contains cow’s feet, tripe, and tendons. This is mixed with spices, corn, cassava, and vegetables, including cabbage and carrots. It is the perfect choice if you’re trying to get rid of a hangover. This is why it is commonly sold at weekends. Yuca Frita (Fried Cassava) This is a delicious dish of deep-fried cassava, or yucca root, which is slightly sweet and quite chewy. The cassava is cut into wedges and then fried. Some people prefer to boil it. It can be served with chicharrón (deep-fried pork cracklings). It may also be served with tomato sauce and curtido (fermented cabbage salad). Quesadilla (Salvadoran Sweet Cheese Cake) Quesadilla is a typical cheese-based dessert. The dough is made with cheese, eggs, milk, flour, and butter. It is topped with sesame seeds. It has a salty taste and a rich texture. Both of the papusas I got were fresh, had a good amount cheese, and the veggies were delicious. They do include the salad and tomato sauce on the side. The horchata isn't just a regular rice and water drink. There's a bunch of seeds and toasted rice blended together so you get a real nutty and almost smoke flavour. This is my 2nd favorite kind of Horchata. I've never had chapulines and a family member wanted to try them so I got a side of those as well. They didn't taste like much, mostly salty, sour, crunchy and a toasted flavor. I only ate a few because I started having flashbacks to insect videos on YouTube which have permanently ruined my eyesight. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town.

Well, the soup alone is a meal and a hearty one. The broth was delicious and included large chunks of carrots, like two whole potatoes, two pieces of chicken (wasn't my fav part but oh well), and delicious rice on the side.... and two tortillas. The papusas were hot and delicious and extremely filling. The cabbage slaw topping and salsas and everything in general was clearly fresh. Whatever you order will definitely satisfy your appetite. And for anyone wondering about what a Tlaytudas is we didn't order the dish but it looked like an El Salvadoran pizza. Def a meal for two.
