Reservations were nearly full but luckily we got a spot early in the morning. The place was packed, but I see why. I loved their drinks as well as their Tom Yum Paella. The portion was a bit small compared to other places however the flavor was immaculate! Months go by and I'm still thinking of this dish. The green sauce was what really made the dish top tier in my opinion. I truly loved how unique this dish was and I can't wait to try more! Staff were super friendly. We were a party of 3 and they sat us in a booth. We're all foodies and we tend to order a lot sometimes so I loved how much space we had at the booth. It was truly perfect!

The one aspect that was just okay, but still not bad, was the food (3.5/5). We came at opening on Saturday just in case there was a brunch rush, but thankfully at 8am it didn't seem too busy yet. We were promptly greeted with a smile and seated at a table with fresh flowers and morning sun. The menu options are extensive, especially drinks, but we settled on some specials - a steak omurice and what we'd come for, fried chicken (but on a benedict instead of a waffle). Our items came out ~10 minutes later looking pretty garnished with flowers. The omurice was advertised as "medium spicy" and wasn't too bad. We had the spicy red wine sauce on the side and enjoyed cutting the omelette to drape over the rice. While there was spice, the dish also felt a little lacking for some reason - although the cook on the meat was good and it was tender. The fried chicken benedict was served with two crispy purple potatoes, mayo, and a lightly dressed arugula salad that was a good size. I found the benny eggs to be a bit unevenly cooked so they didn't ooze golden when cut, but it still tasted rich and yummy with the crunchy-crispy fried chicken. The pickled red onions really added good pop to this dish. Both dishes were fine but not memorable in taste. Prices are on the higher end but I could see good quality ingredients going into these dishes so perhaps it's justified. Very friendly staff though and fun menu options (often Thai fusion)! A solid addition to the local brunch scene - and they also serve dinner :) We didn't get the instagrammable drinks with ombre color and marshmallow bears but that also seems to be a highlight of The Royale!

But T'zunun was great as always! We were able to get in right before the brunch rush without a reservation and sat outside on the patio, which was really nice. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure we got the chicharrones, which were delicious. The food presentation was beautiful and everything was flavorful and well prepared. What I really appreciate about T'zunun is the consistency, whether you come on a regular weekday, a Friday night, or for brunch, the quality and service are always solid. Everything was wonderful and it made for a great Easter brunch experience. Definitely recommend!

I had the corn and the house salad with grapefruit and pear and the mussels. I'm used to mussels in broth, but not with this flavor profile. It was like kiss your fingers exquisitely good. Probably the best mussels I've eaten. A+. Very reasonably priced for what it is. Next time I'll try the ceviche. Oh my god there's a happy hour too, and the mussels are on the happy hour menu! Next time I'm in tinez / pleasant hill, I'm going to beg my wife for us to go here. And also there's even a kid menu. The Mexican chocolate cheesecake was impossibly good. My sons apparently looked tired because we were sitting here a while. So the server popped out with complimentary churros for them. Not just amusement park churros. These were gourmet churros with a spoon of gelato. Love this place.

The beer was ok and got there halfway through our meal, which was disappointing. The seasoning for the fries was super bland to me. The pretzel was pretty good too. Service: 3/5. The person when we entered was super friendly. The rest of the service was just super slow and seemed disorganized. You order through QR code at your table. Our drinks got delivered about halfway through our meal, which was disappointing since we were mostly there for the beer. Atmosphere: 3.5/5. The actual brewery can be a fun spot, however I felt seating was uncomfortable and tables were small for our beverages and food. We liked the play area for the kids since we had our kids with us, but wish there were more toys that were updated and not broken. Parking is a bit of a hassle. The place was packed at 4pm on a weekday. Kid friendly: 4/5. It is a brewery... so I wasn't expecting it to be so kid friendly, but it really caters to parents wanting to go out with their kids. The kids area is perfect to keep kids somewhat contained and away from adults that do not want kids to interrupt them. Most of the toys are really rugged and somewhat broken, but appreciate that it is there. This was our first time, so now that we know what to expect I would love to give this place another shot!

I looked around and found this spot tucked away in Pleasant Hill. Decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. First I went with my mom who's on the wiser side and they had a private party on the side with all the low top tables. Without us asking they grabbed us a table and set it up for us so she could sit. AMAZING. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!! I got the Cajun Alfredo creamy and flavorful and not spicy. The clam chowder soup was delicious too. I will def be coming back here because the service and food was so good. If you're looking for a new spot with a neighborhood feel look no further. Try this place!!!

CONS: - None I stand firm in my 5 stars. This place is now a fave of mine for sure. Highly recommended!
