Sometimes restaurants can be hit or miss when it comes to south beach. This one is a complete hit. I took my mom here for Mother's Day and we had an amazing experience. For starters we had half a dozen oysters. They were fresh and delicious. Our main dish was their branzino which comes with a salad and a side of their rice. Gerry our waiter recommended the mushrooms and that we share our main dish as it's a lot of food. I'm so glad we took his suggestions because it was amazing. The mushrooms were seasoned as if they were beef. So many flavors and a tangy sauce underneath. The Branzino was so fresh and flavorful as well. You get a beautiful view of the beach and the hotels pool side. We plan on coming back to try their spa day pass. read more

Always a favorite when we stay here! We eat here almost everyday for lunch while we are at the hotel. Service is great! Love the hummus and burrata - drinks are always on point! Great ambiance next to the pool with a fun atmosphere! read more

Located in the Fountain Bleu Hotel in Mid-Miami. There is a walkway between the restaurant and the beach so there's easy access to/from Miami Beach. There is plenty of seating areas under palm trees and umbrellas with a full bar in the middle and a live DJ. It's such a vibe here. We checked in the front and we were sat in about five minutes. While we were waiting, we see the DJ come out with a foghorn to get people pumped. I thought it was pretty cool to see, especially in Miami. We sat during lunch so I went for a chicken sandwich which came with fries. You can opt for a side salad instead. It was pretty good, but I wish it had more toppings to it. Fries were good too! I got a kids burger for my son and it was plain as well. I will say that my drink was really good. I decided to go with the Miami punch since I was in Miami. I do recommend that. Overall, service and food were OK, vibe and drinks were great! read more

Lots of great cocktail options to drink poolside. Everything is typical Fontainebleau/Miami Beach overpriced with sandwiches hovering around the $30 mark, but you know what you're getting yourself into here. To their credit, the food was yummy. My friend ordered the lamb pita and I ordered the Moroccan Chicken Sandwich. The chicken sandwich has an olive tapenade that blends well with the chicken (I'm not a big fan of olives and I was still able to enjoy this dish). Our server was very friendly and fun to chat with. He also ensured we got an umbrella over us as soon as possible, which definitely came in extra handy when it started to pour. read more

Had a really great meal! I ordered swordfish which was great but also tried my friends chicken kabob and it was fantastic! Also the Buratta appetizer was heavenly with figs and a spicy jam. Loved it! Service was superb! Reservations indicates "inside seating" is available but it's not, La Cote is all outside seating, poolside but beautiful and steps from the beach. They have an upper deck but it happened to be closed today. I imagine it's an even prettier view. read more

We were meeting out of town family who were staying in Bal Harbour. We wanted a different scene and thought about La Cote for the views and ambiance. It was too windy for second level seating but we got a table by the DJ and bar area. Really fun and energetic vibe! It was loud near the DJ (duh) so make sure you choose your seating accordingly! Server was great with his recommendations and checked on us periodically! For app, we got the roasted beets - delicious Entrees: Persian kebab - grilled to perfection and the Sea Bass which was divine! Yes it's pricey here but it's a hotel restaurant (in south beach) so kinda expected and but worth it for the ambiance read more

Fontainebleu has a few different restaurants on premises, and La Cote is a casual option near the pool, overlooking the beach. For poolside dining- the food is not bad at all. The fries are great, the sea bass was cooked well, and the octopus was tender. The flavors aren't punchy, but the food is again- not bad. My group also tried the lamb pita and chicken kabob plate which was generously portioned. The only reason I'm giving a 3 star rating instead of a 4 star is the price. With included gratuity, expect $70 a head for apps, entrees, and drinks which is steep for poolside dining- even in Miami Beach. read more

I got hungry and in need of some food. I wasn't happy with the Glow Bar food menu so I decided to check La Cote's menu. The hostess and the waiters are friendly and professional. I decided to go with the chicken kebab with rice and veggies (Burnt Citrus, Turmeric, Fragrant Rice Pilaf, Preserved Lemon Yogurt). I really enjoyed this dish. Also, they have frozen frose! I was really excited. I sat by the bar and noticed a DJ playing music close by. The bar is popping with happy bartenders and customers. Every now and then the bartenders blasted cool air at the customers. It draws a lot of attention and the customers love it. It's so much better than the Glow bar. Come here if you want food & drinks. read more

We are here twice while staying at Fountainbleu. They have a kids menu with hot dog, chicken fingers, etc. For the adults we tried the salmon which was perfect and the cauliflower. I liked the cauliflower spicing but it was a lot of cauliflower. Their menu is better than the beach menu so we ordered takeout from la Côte to take to the beach. read more

Food for Mother's Day was decent enough. We could have been told that the app special was $175, when most meals were in the $30 range. The major issue was the Valet Parking. It took us under 2 hours to eat. It took almost as long, in the heat, to get our car back from valet. We heard they had issues with valet, but couldn't imagine almost 2 hours it took for us, and tons of others, to get their cars back. Never saw so many so angry. Ruined our plans and almost didn't make it back to the airport on time. No system. Not enough workers. Management on the cheap. We won't be back. read more

First of all the vibes were immaculate love the dj the energy was definitely giving Ibiza country side with white decorum. The service was amazing we waited for a table for all of 5 mins and our server was nice, knowledgeable and handsome lol. Ambience and service was beautiful and I appreciated all the staff there that took care of me so dearly. The food was just not up to par for a restaurant in the FountainBleu Hotel in my opinion. I understand that there has been a lot of changes for them regarding management but the menu is quite small and not very cohesive. Additionally, the food was just worth the price and simply not good. I will say I loved the Pina Colada I had it was very well balanced and delicious. I got the wings and the calamari for starters which weren't too bad maybe a 7/10. For the entree I got the chicken kebab and they were just a huge let down, just dry and lacking flavor. I hope management decides to bring back some of the old popular dishes or continue to add on to this one but some change is needed. This spot has a lot of potential. read more

What a fun bar! This spot between the pool and beach is perfect for a vacation. The DJ was playing great party music, and the bar staff would sometimes spray CO2 cannons just like a Miami club. The Miami Vice was very refreshing, and the staff was attentive. La Cote is a great time. read more

Decided to pop in for lunch to see the menu board they had just outside the establishment by the boardwalk to be a bit different from the one that was given to me. My husband and I had are eye on the chicken schnitzel lunch that they didn't have anymore so that was a bit of a bummer so we just decided to get an app and some water to hydrate a bit. We got the calamari and it was really good. Nice tender pieces, crispy light exterior and nice seasoning. It was garnished with crispy basil and peppers and lemon. They have a fun vibes going on in there especially by the bar with a dj so if your a day drinker come check it out. Good food and vibe. Service took a bit of time and it was a before the rush, but all in all the server was very friendly. Pros: Beach access. Good food. Friendly service. Security guards guarding the entrance to the fountain blue pool area, so not just anyone can wander in. Cons: The key to the 4 star rating is the minimal bathrooms that are available. literally one stall and one unrinal. For a restaurant this size and it looks like a restroom from like a motel 6 by a beach. read more

Absolutely hands down my favorite spot in the entire place! The food is fresh and the portions are fair/quaint, and the prices are reasonable! The staff here is hands down the best I've seen out of any restaurant on site. They're lively, polite, fun, and make great suggestions and great upselling! Veronica and Constantine are so bubbly, vibrant, and welcoming each and every time. They are always smiling and it's always a good vibe. The food is top tier, the presentations are adorable and the sizes and portions are perfect. Top pick: tuna tartare for only $19 dollars it's fresh and tasty - can't go wrong. If you want high quality food and good pricing this is it! I've been here upwards of 20 times in the last two years. I think that says a lot. I don't even live in this state, though I visit every few months for business. PROS: everything is good CONS: sometimes there's a wait for a table (PRO TIP: you may also skip the line and head directly to the bar and enjoy your time there) read more

Since we were spending the day at the pool, wanted to get a convenient lunch. The berry lemonade and watermelon cocktail were both so, so good. My husband really liked his pita and I was happy with my burger. The patio seating is comfortable but there is a squirrel that is all too comfortable around guests. This animal was jumping on chairs while people were sitting in them, like over and over again. It was terrorizing this one woman until staff moved her to another table. Guests must feed the squirrel, so maybe manager should have signs not to feed the animals. read more

La Côte was a nice little spot. It's at the Fontainebleau. Really convenient since we're at Tresor. The calamari is very light, fresh and good. I really enjoyed sauces here. This PAST weekend MDW We were seated with a good view of the food prep area and couldn't believe our eyes when we saw a food runner, easily around 230 pounds, repeatedly grab fries from plates he was supposed to be delivering. Not once, not twice, but three times we saw him munching on food meant for guests. My husband and I were in shock, just feet away, watching this happen. It's baffling and appalling that this could be part of the Fontainebleau experience. Our last visit here was good, but after this incident, we won't be coming back. Someone putting their hands in my food before bringing it to me or other guests is beyond disgusting. If you're looking for a reliable dining experience in Miami Beach, look somewhere else , they need better Management. read more

So 5 stars for the service! I can't imagine how these kind waiters go around with a smiling face despite the chaos of Miami Beach and La Cote specifically. I wouldn't last a day. Now on to the food, which is really just subpar: *Shrimp cocktail wasn't cleaned properly and wasn't fresh. Definitely stay away from this. *Grilled vegetables were under cooked and under seasoned. *Mahi Mahi was good - my husband liked this dish. *Chicken paillard was quite small and my daughter ate it in about 3 bites. Obviously prices are high due to the location. We definitely won't be returning. read more

Don't be fooled. Workers here look nice but will take your credit card information and use it once you check out. Currently have a hotel investigation and fraud investigation with my credit card company. Calamari was great but cost us $500 in fraudulent purchases. I'm only giving this two stars because the server was good. But my friend ordered the octopus and the artichoke. Neither was anything to write home about. The artichoke was stringy and overcooked and even after multiple times of chewing, 30+ times it's still just never dissolved! The service was a bit of a miss at La Cote the day we visited. It was a hot Miami day and our waiter took over 10 minutes to bring water. Our other drinks took double the amount of time than the water, so our food came out just after we got our drinks. I had the Scallops and Quinoa Salad, both were flavorsome. The Quinoa Salad had beets, kale, ricotta salata topped with an orange vinaigrette. The scallops were light and cooked to perfection. I must admit I ate my entire meal and was extremely full. Their pricing is a little high (even for Miami) and add the service charge to have not grand service. But with great views of the pool and ocean, I think that's why they have a large following. read more

Even though it rained the whole time I was out there, I still had an amazing relaxing time. Came to relax and have a few drinks which turned into more than a few...the drinks were amazing, what can I say. The only thing I ate was oysters on a half shell. The server, such I cutie pie! I wish I would have written this review sooner while his name was fresh on my brain...ugh...anyway he was the sweetest and very attentive. He was from Puerto Rico. I DO remember that. The drinks I had which were all great. La Côte is indeed pricey...however it is an EXPERIENCE! If you stay at the Fountainbleu, you may as well indulge yourself....enjoy! read more

Came here on a day pass - lunch included. You get a three first and second courses - one of each which are vegan: Crudités and Charred Cauliflower (vegetarians, there's also a quinoa salad with ricotta*). Crudités consisted of zucchini, carrots, tomatoes, celery, somethingI couldn't identify and watermelon radish. Refreshing, light and healthy way to start a much needed lunch. Really dug the hummus. Not sure the included green goddess dressing was vegan. Seemed more like some kind of ranch or yogurt sauce (not my area). Vegans- I'd recommend skipping this. *vegans- if you want to opt for the quinoa, mixed greens and pomegranate salad - just order without the ricotta and you've got another light and healthy option. Charred cauliflower came with couscous, hummus and garam masala. Fantastic! Cauliflower was perfectly done and the garam masala was on point. 5 stars all the way. If you're coming here or doing the day pass like us, gotta check it out. FYI - our server -Lazaro- was outstanding. 5 stars there as well. read more

Restaurant located on the Fountain Bleu hotel grounds near the pool area. Received a voucher for a 2 course meal that was included in our spa package at The Lapis Spa. The spa informed up that the restaurant was closing soon when checked in so we headed over there ASAP.. we were informed it would have been a long wait but when we put our name on the list we actually were sat right away. It was a very hot day and the table they sat us were partly in the sun. Waiter never gave a menu for us to look just told us our options by mouth. Not a lot of variety of what we could choose with the voucher. Our alcoholic beverage were not included in our voucher so of course we knew that would be an extra charge but the waiter recommended a few drinks; I was in shocked when receiving the bill that he didn't even decide to inform us of the price of the drink before purchasing.. the ladies who got it didn't complain but I'm sorry But I would like to be informed if the drink my waiter recommended was a $51 for 1 drink before I decided. Service was decent but lack of communication. Food was mediocre. I chose the Caesar salad with the lemon chicken. read more
