    Lamb chops

What a great experience! The drinks were fantastic--especially the mojito, which was fresh and perfectly balanced. We started with the hummus appetizer and it was delicious, followed by the lamb chops that were cooked beautifully. To end the night, the chocolate dessert was the perfect sweet finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making the whole evening feel special. Highly recommend for both food and atmosphere!

4.5! We sat at the bar for happy hour and the bartender was very nice. Food was good! Little bites but we all enjoyed it. Gorgeous drinks. Sweet potato fries were the best. No ranch though, be warned.

Tip added to my bill that was NOT in my handwriting - had to dispute with my bank for months!!! Very hard to reach the restaurant as well - no direct phone line. While the food tasted great, the price point was high. Service was slow, making us rush for our continued Bachelorette plans, even though we had allotted 2.5h for a group dinner.

Very surprised with the quality of food; writing this review in late August and the Miami Beach area was very quiet and this place was nearly empty during my stay at Lennox Hotel. Since I didn't want to explore the area for food in a 95 degrees weather + 80% humidity, I decided to give this place a try. Ordered three things: prosciutto & calamari salad, half portion branzino and flan. All three dishes hit the spot and I actually finished all these in one sitting because it was so good, I would be committing sin if I leave anything behind. Strongly recommend trying this place!

Guacamole is unnecessary and ruins the dish. Chef needs to decide if he/she wants mushy or crispy.

Pros . Good service pretty ambience Let me start by emphasizing the Williams-Sonoma decor detail & wallpapers aesthetic all lovely in this tiny restaurant. CONS. Are restaurants out of their mind charging these exaggerated prices. $35+ per plate. I get it, I do understand it is Miami Beach and a tourist trap. Now to the food. The octopus was hard chewy and the plate itself had savory southern style potatoes, MX guacamole as well an octopus seasoned in a different style in total 3 ideas in 1 appetizer. Again, same thing happened with the brussels sprouts everything was great until you reached all the way to the bottom and again savory crispy brussels sprouts on top of baby food textured guacamole, why? Stop the madness guacamole is not Mediterranean. And make up your mind on which flavor road you're trying to attempt. Now let's get to the main course. The Bolognese was delicious as per my spouse's review. But my Fiocchi pear was under seasoned and mind you it had every single Garnish the chef had in the back of his kitchen. You had balsamic you had sun-dried tomato the basil the creaminess but zero seasoning. Desert was also over priced but average. I give this place one year before it's forgotten. Unless the owners have very deep pockets.

Our first night of our vacation landed us here for dinner, as it was a nice easy walk from our beachfront hotel. The restaurant is tucked up on a side street, and is a lovely indoor/outdoor restaurant. It is very clear why this place gets rave reviews. The restaurant inside was empty when we arrived so we felt like we were having this incredible private dining experience. The staff were very attentive ensuring we were well taken care of. There were five of us, so we ordered the bread, brussels sprouts and warm brie to start. The bread was interesting, it was a very small little round loaf of pull apart pieces. My husband who is a big bread person could have easily eaten half of it, if not the entire thing. I ordered the Pumpkin And Ricotta Ravioli, which was good. Ordered at the table was also the Mushroom Risotto, Porcini Ravioli, Grilled Branzino and my husband ordered a pasta dish with shrimp. He was a bit disappointed that there were only a couple of shrimp. The food was clearly made very fresh to order, which was wonderful. We enjoyed the meal and service very much... I think for me the disconnect is with the prices (e.g. $24 for a moderate amount of Brussels Sprouts) and the portions. Considering location, and everything else I totally get it but it still seemed a bit pricey for what landed on the table. While it was very good, it was not great... although the staff and ambiance certainly was.

Hello my name is Irene Mendoza and i'm currently sitting down at Amalia Restaurant inside the Lennox Miami Beach Hotel (1900 Collins Ave Miami Beach, Fl 33139). I'm writing to you because i'm beyond disappointed on one of your servers (Antonio). he was very unprofessional and rude. We waited at least for 15 minutes before he came back to pick up the card to pay. He took our order and never came back to check if we needed anything else. I waited for at least 10 minutes before i tag him out to get me a refill of my orange juice which he didn't even stop he kept walking and said yeah, yeah, therefore i had enough and decided i would not order anything else meanwhile whole time i see him just standing while i'm trying to get his attention to order more stuff.

Came here on a whim after the door guy at Mila denied my wife entry for dinner at 6pm due to her wearing sandals...Valentino Sandals. Glad they did, because we ended up at Amalia on the patio, and had a wonderful experience! Our server, Melina, was super accommodating and friendly! We had the full Branzino, which was cooked perfectly, and Grandma's Gnocchi, which was light, yet flavorful. This dinner elsewhere would have likely been MUCH more expensive, so the value here is a bonus. Definitely a low key, quiet/romantic spot with great attention to detail throughout.

Nice place, has its style and atmosphere. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious

Though Amalia is on busy Collins Avenue it is recessed and somewhat hidden so it easy to pass but if you do go in you will most likely be impressed by the decor. The dining room is beautiful but often in great looking restaurants comfort is sacrificed for design but here the seats and banquettes are as well thought out and designed as the room itself. And the attention to detail goes beyond room decor as the flatware and dishes are better than most restaurants and there are even monogrammed napkins. However it seems like the micro-detailing stopped at the design because the menu is cliched and lacking any innovations - also there are no Specials of the Day and just the usual hotel dining room basics are featured. We opted for a few pasta dishes and the Mushroom Ravioli was very good and an Orecchiette was average. None of the food we had here was bad but there was nothing to swoon over but the comfortable surroundings elevate the rating from average to good and if anyone is looking for a respite from busy Miami Beach than this is a good place for a break.

Really surprised they don't have any reviews. Super cute atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. You feel like you are in a botanical garden while eating outside. We had the burrata appetizer which was so delicious, then I followed it with the mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce which was delightful. Highly recommend checking this place out (pricy) but oh so good.

Hidden gem in South beach! If you are looking for delicious top quality food, great service and elegant atmosphere this is the place to be. I was visiting the area few days and this place is by far one of my favorites. This restaurant has a touch of magic along with the whole hotel, a must try in SB.

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.

We were sat inside near the bar/kitchen area. The restaurant overall had a very quaint vibe, close seating and bright vibrant decor. Yellow was a primary color through most of the decor. I wasn't able to catch our server's name however they were very well knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We decided to do several apps versus getting individual meals as this restaurants theme is to have shareable plates. So many dishes, got the French and Turkish oven pita. Both were good and had different highlights. Loved the gold scissors provided to cut strips for sharing. Classic hummus which had to have been the smoothest hummus I've ever had. Zucchini Latkes were one of my favorite along with the Cauliflower. The seasoning on this was amazing, a bit sweet, and crispy outside. Crispy artichoke I could have done without. It was kinda like eating rice paper, odd texture. Had to try the baklava for dessert along with the pistachio cheesecake and the vanilla, mango and Nutella gelato. Nutella was my favorite.
