I've been a long time fan of LA Burger from their original Irving location, but this location is often more convenient for me now. The food is just as good as the other location. The K-Town w/o jalapenos is pretty much my holy grail burger at this point, and what's not to love about the K-fries (well, except during a pandemic, they aren't the best pick for takeout as they get soggy.) For those not in the know, K-fries have (IIRC, its been a few months) bulgogi, kimchi, spicy sauce and other goodness on them. The full order is huge -- get the small side size portion and there's still plenty to split with your honey. COVID situation: The sign on the door didn't say so, but they will bring your order to your car if you request it. Thank goodness, because last time we went there were gaggles of stupid people without masks going in and I was not about to risk my life and that of my family following them inside. For awhile they had a K-nachos...I hope when the pandemic is over they bring it back. I liked those even better than the K-fries, but they may have been a short-term or seasonal thing. read more

This place had social distanced tables for dining in. Masks are required upon entry. I came here with my cousins as a recommendation for their kimchi fries. They were exactly what I was craving, and it hit the spot perfectly! I liked how the egg was slightly runny so that way I can crack the yoke over the fries. That's honestly my favorite part of kimchi fries. The kimchi itself, sauce, and onions were all very delicious with the fries! The only thing about them was that I wished they had more of the sauce on the actual fries themselves rather than mainly just over the egg that was over the fries. I ordered the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was absolutely delicious but the fires were burnt. My MAIN complaint was the absolutely filthy restaurant. Walls had food and sauce splattered on and tables were not wiped down. What does your kitchen look like if nothing is even cleaned to the public's eyes? Your safest best if you're not feeling adventurous. My other friend got the Psychedelic burger ($7.19). Comes with Marinated mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, onion, swiss, mayo. I love the fact the burgers are so damn juicy, flavorful and delightfully messy. Try the KTown burger with cheese and egg. The onion rings are great as well as the 3 strikes burger and the bulgogi burger. You will definitely go through some napkins here and satisfy your hunger as well. This place has been around for years now in Carrollton. Don't believe the old 4.5 star rating. They were once MUCH better. The fries are rock hard. Doesn't matter if you get the thin ones or the curly ones. The food is over seasoned, too salty, and way over cooked. The bulgogi was very tough and seemed like leftovers that were refried. Ok. I came, I saw, I conquered! Whhhhhy did I have to fly to Texas, only to discover LA Burger when I live in freakin' California! Oh you bet your sweet buns I will be visiting this chain when I'm back home in Cali. Speaking of sweet buns, the Brioche type bun they use is really sweet, almost a little too sweet, but it was still tasty and complimented the burger and all if the toppings. I ate the Cali Sunshine burger which was Dee-lish! I tasted the Tommy burger which I believe is a tribute to Tommy's in Los Angeles, hence the name and chili added. I thought it was good, but not as good as my Cali burger. The Kimchee fries were good and had a hint of spice to them, it is basically a meal by itself. I'm so glad I found this gem. It's a Korean fusion burger place. The K-Town burger had the perfect mix of Korean flavor and hamburger. I added cheese to mine and it was so good! I also had the tater tots Korean add on and it was so good. The kimchi did not overpower the dish and the bulgogi complemented everything perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed LA Burger and look forward to my next visit. There are so many other delicious looking burgers and sandwiches to try out. I loved the other location and this one is no different! same great food and service we all grew to love in a different location! this location is closer to my work. It's around H-Mart area so you get all you bonafied full blown Korean shopping and lunch all in the same area!!!! I pretty much had everything on their menu. I recommend the LA burger if you're a burger person...regular burger with kim chi and a fried egg on top. Goes great with their kim chi fries. and that could be shared between two people. If you're a sandwich person, I'd recommend the hogi. Like a Vietnamese banh mi without the Asian veggies. My coworker had the philly steak and he loved it. K fries (curly fries): I ordered this without onions. I think the seasoning in the curly fries made it much better. The fries were good and definitely worth the calorie and fat consumption but I'm not so sure it's worth the price. The fries were cooked well and retained their crispness even after the toppings were added and it was packed to go. I also tried the K fries with regular fries. I thought they were good but I liked the additional seasoning from the curly fries. Bulgogi Tacos: good price for 3 tacos. The flavor of the Bulgogi was good compared to the other fusion places I've been in DFW. But I don't think it's the best. I also thought it was a bit too salty. It would've been nice if they added a slaw or something to cut the saltiness. Psychedelic burger: The burger had a good balance of ingredients maybe a bit too much bread. It was cooked well. Service is good. The food is good but I don't think it's a place that I'd go out of my way for. I would give them a 3.5 stars but not quite good enough for me to round up to 4 yelp stars. read more

After looking through the help pictures on this place I knew I had to try it. For those unfamiliar to LA burger, you walk to the cashier, order, pay and they bring it out to you. Food: I ordered the Asian tacos (two beef- bulgogi, be one pork), a side of sweet potato fries, and a vanilla shake, which came up to be around $16. If you are getting the tacos, I highly recommend paying extra to add in avocado. The meat in the tacos themselves are very flavor full, sweet with a nice subtle kick. The onions accompany the met perfectly and each taco is double wrapped in two soft corn tortillas. Probably going to order this everyone I come here since it was so good! The sweet potato fries were good, soft but crunchy and the vanilla shake was thick and creamy. Service: the staff was very nice, one of the owners came around to make sure everyone's food was good, which is a big plus in my book. Customers happy = returning customers. The owner greeted everyone who came in and the friendliness was really noticeable. We sat at the bar and chatted with the owner for several minutes talking about the different local craft beers he has on tap. He even gave us samples of beer.
