I called ahead for an appointment since they seemed busy yesterday when I came in. They were able to get me my mother and grandma in for 3 pedicures. After the pedicures I chose to go with the diamond nails. It's a very different process than acrylic which is what I'm used to. Very unprofessional and rude the younger guy i think his name is TK. Did my nails i first shows him a photo and his disregarded to look at it. That's when I should have known they'd be bad. I got a white french pedicure (with gel .. duh) and I could not have asked for anything better. The work was so clean, quick, and precise. Liam was my tech and he did such an amazing job and he's so sweet! I usually don't come to this location, so I was quiet and enjoyed the service while listening to calming piano music and getting a gentle massage in 1 of the 3 pedi chairs they have. Me and my gf each had a cracked nail on our toe from vacation and our usual shop was closed so we decided to stop by for the quick fix since they're located right around the corner. They had a short wait which was no worries at all but i guess through a language barrier misunderstood and thought we wanted full pedicures. NO BIG deal or so we thought. We corrected and they made a large commotion about having to call in additional help just for a nail repair (that i stated right when we walked in) and i even directly said we did not need full pedicures just gel nail repairs. Their mother loudly packed up her stuff and left my gf just sitting in her chair after partially removing the paint off two other nails despite my gf saying no. Ever walked into a salon and immediately couldn't breathe? If you haven't consider yourself lucky as this is step number 1 to walk right back out. I ignored my best judgement and stayed. If, like me, you decide to give it a go anyway then the next key indicator to leave is that it is empty on a Saturday morning. Some other important things to look for are salon vibe, beverage offerings (or lack there of), a tech that can get through an entire service without a smoke break, and polish displays. While this experience was less than sub par, honey scrub was decent. Unfortunately, a decent scrub isn't enough to save an experience. To say the least, this was a one and done. read more

Two weeks ago I went to this establishment to get my nails done by one of the owners named Steven. It was a referral and an hour out of my way so I said let me try them. I had taken a screenshot of HIS work to show him what I wanted so we didn't waste any time. Upon completing my set, I asked him where were the Rhinestones and he came back with "They don't last long on matte nails". So I showed him several of HIS own work with multiple ladies with matte nails with Rhinestones. He in turn said lol "They all complained they kept falling off" so I said but you kept doing them knowing they would fall off. Of course he got pissed and said "Don't tell me how to do my work" I in turn said "No, I'm paying you for the work I want not what you want". In the end, he didn't want to do it anyway because of how time consuming it can be. Fast forward to today lol, I went back for my fill in and HE, Steven refused to do my fill in because he said I was bossy and tried to tell him what to do. Welllllll Duhhhhhhh, if I'm paying YOU, I'm paying for what I want not what you want. Remember who the customer is and the reason your establishment is still in business. Don't think you're so big that you can't fall, because you will. No one wants or likes bad press much less a nail tech who wants to tell them what they want. So if you're in the Smyrna, TN area, I do not recommend them. I should've ran the first time when a customer sitting next to me was telling me how bad their attitudes were but I'm always willing to give you a chance...Until proven wrong. Won't be coming back here. People need to understand what customer service is and that we as customers can take our money else where. I think they start to think because of the work they do they can tell you what to do and that's not how it works. We are still the customer and the reason you are able to still do the work you do. Don't get it twisted. Without customers there will be no LA Bella Spa. We have to let establishments like this know the power of our money and a review. read more

I'm in Nashville visiting friends for my birthday (today) and she highly recommended this place for me to get my nails done. She showed me the IG page and I fell in love with the many designs.. So I was excited to go. Welp... Upon entry.. I wasn't greeted or asked if I needed any assistance. I looked around and finally sat down at which time the lady who was doing someone's nail asked what I wanted... Told her a new set and a pedi... A guy came from the back and asked what I wanted.. I told him I wanted dip powder at first but then I showed him the design I liked from the IG page he told me that would be acrylic and handed me the color book to choose the color.. (After I had just shown him the design) ... So I had to soak my nails off and while doing so had the pedi done.... Now MY PEDI guy was AMAZING and the ONLY reason for the stars... He was an older guy.. Sweet and very good... One of the Best pedi e ever... Feet soft... Now... On to the not so good.. So this guy. Had a semi attitude from the beginning... From how he cut my nails and handled my hands... I'm thoroughly disappointed in the service received for my nails.... I would have appreciated if the tech had told me they were not able to do the design requested instead of doing something totally different... Terrible service and quality. They don't take the time to do things right to ensure your gel manicure will last. Within one day my gel nails chipped. By day 5 half of them were chipped and the others were lifting. When I went back to get them fixed they acted like it was my fault with an attitude. After they were done (poorly again) they left the room and didn't say anything. I was going to at least leave a tip for the time but not with that attitude. The new nails are just as poorly done and this time I photographed them. Don't waste your time I will not recommend to anyone I know. read more

I visited La Belle today for the first and only time. I had a basic pedicure and powder dipped nails. The pedicure was fair- the polish has a couple of spots, barely noticeable. However, my nails are another story. The woman who did them barely spoke and did not ask how I wanted my nails to look. My true problem is that I have 3 nails that are bleeding around the cuticle. I did point this out and ask for some antibiotic cream or something, but there was none. The nail tech in the next chair saw my nails and they chatted between themselves. There was no acknowledgement of a problem, no comment, and certainly no apology. I'm not sure I have any recourse here, but I don't want anyone else to suffer. read more

Disgusting, uncomfortable, creepy experience with one of the men working there. He is 30, lived in Alaska previously, sides of his head shaved, tattoos. I came later in the afternoon on Sunday. He took a very long time on my pedicure to keep me there past closing. As he was doing my manicure, all the women left & he locked the door so I was locked in there with him. He became chatty at that point (was utterly quiet previously). He was asking me about my tattoos & began reaching over the table & kept pulling at my shorts & shirt to see. I tried 3 different times to walk in for a gel manicure and was asked to make an appt. I make an appt and was tended to quickly. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they were unable to do that. I chose my color and was astounded when my tech literally didn't speak to me. He as well as the other techs had a loud and long conversation the entire time. They never spoke to their clients either. It is so odd to me that this is the service industry and they provided poor service. He never asked what shape I wanted my nails. There was no music playing, there was a roll of paper towels on the floor and dust along the walls. I also witnessed the plastic being removed from the pedicure bowl and thrown away without being bleached after a pedicure. The flu virus is rampant and it wasn't properly cleaned. The original owners of La Belle were amazing and exceptionally clean. You got to keep the tools that they used to work on you. They were friendly and accommodating. I'm not sure what has happened, but I don't see them being open for much longer. read more

Although the ladies at La Belle were very friendly, I have to say that this was the worst nail fill-in we have ever received. My daughter and I both went last weekend and she has already had 2 break completely off and another one is almost off. My nails are not smooth at all and are pulling up at the nail bed. read more

I've been going to La Belle for several years. But in the last couple months they changed owners and the spa has gone down hill. The place is not clean and is messy - cluttered. The tech's are ok, but there is one young man that makes me extremely uncomfortable. He asked too many questions and they are personal of nature and not proper for a professional setting. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind having a conversation with the person doing my nails, but his questions are way too personal. LaBelle used to take appointments which made it very convenient at my lunch to run in get my nails done. The appointments was a plus for me and one of the reasons I liked this Spa. HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!! It has been less than 2 weeks one week and 4 days to be exact since I visited this nail salon and my service of choice was SNS DIP POWDER my nail has split in half due to no fault of my own but I believe due to only two very poorly applied dips of the powder I have lifting on my nails around the sides where the cuticles are I called and spoke with one of the young ladies there and I explained the situation and I was told "there is nothing that we can do for you" I asked again and she repeated herself, you know there are so many nail salons in this area and the prices that they are charging for the type of service that they provide is ridiculous because you have to come back more often for fill ins, dips the whole nine and you /I give GOOD TIPS and you still get POOR SERVICE all she had to do was have me to come in access the problem and fix this one nail knowing what I paid this would have been an easy fix OH WELL !!!!!!! This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. They will not greet you, not even acknowledge that you exist in the nail salon. They will charge extra for messing up your nails while you are there.
