I didn't want to straighten my hair or look super demure and soft -- I wanted my bouncy, tight curls but elevated, a hot pink lip, rosy cheeks, purple shadow and lots of highlight -- the team really listened to me and made it all happen. I worked with Stacy (hair) and Dee (makeup) for my look and they were lovely and fun and really skilled. They were also really easy to talk to and connect with. After my consultation with them, I gave them feedback that they ended up incorporating into my final wedding look. There are so many talented hair stylists and make-up artists out there, but communication is just as important. Dee ended up going out and getting some extra eyeshadows that were a better fit for what I wanted and Stacy used a smaller curler to give me a tighter curl. Stacy and Dee's ability to take my notes and create a look that better aligned with my vision makes them better at what they do and that's why I can 100% recommend working with them. They will listen to you and work on giving you what you want and what makes you happy and that is the marker of an amazing hair/makeup artist. Stacy, Dee along with the other 2 artists glammed up my 6 bridesmaids along with my mom and mother-in-law. They did a FANTASTIC job and in a record amount of time too. Everyone looked and felt amazing and praised their work. Everyone's looks lasted through the entire day and night (and in some cases until the next day too). Capelli + Trucco are worth the money. I found them to be very affordable compared to other quotes that I received and they did amazing work. They were also flexible with rescheduling (due to the pandemic) and honoring rates. I do want to mention that during my working with them, they had a switch in management during which communication halted for several weeks, but once Katy took over, communication went back to normal and I didn't have any issues afterward.

Danielle had unsavory opinions on my hair, which were completely untrue, especially considering the other opinions I had gotten on my hair prior to the cut. She told me no, and that she would cut off 5 inches. I was pressured into getting more hair cut off than I wanted, and to make matters worse, she cut my hair straight across with ZERO blending. What I wanted WAS NOT taken into consideration, and the entire haircut was based off what Danielle wanted for me instead of what I wanted for myself.
