Was cruising the neighborhood was actually trying to get into the Ethiopian restaurant nearby, but it remained closed each time I went by.
But I found this gem of a place! I ordered Bandeja Paida and Agua 'de Panela.
The Agua de Panela was surprisingly refreshing--reminding me of a Nestea with more tang and a bit less sugar.
The gargantuan platter that was the Bandeja Paida consisted of rice with black beans, fried plantain, flatbread, avocado wedge, fried egg, longanisa sausage, and the headliner--fried slab of pork belly!
Barely managed to get it all in and waddle out.
