Best and Best brunch in Laval!!!! We went here for breakfast because they recently have "a $5 everything " promotion. The special price is running from 6:30 to 10am. I can't tell where you can have salmon Benedict for 5 bucks in Montreal. Even if the price is cheap, the food portion is huge and I barely can finish it. I order salmon Benedict which was $19 in normal hour. I would say this one of the best Benedict I have ever had since moving to Montreal. The server is very attentive and helpful. It was so busy, but the server is still keep smile and take good care of us. Somethings I would like to highlight: Coffee are free and refillable Menu are various Price is cheap Food are awesome

#1 breakfast spot when coming to visit Canada! Big portions for great prices. Their milkshakes are also amazing.

Three cheese omelette and potatoes, good comfort food.

I've been here a few times and I can conclude for a breakfast place it's a great option in Laval. What I enjoy and appreciate is when you walk in it's bright and cheerful. Loads of options, big generous serving options and they are always hot to trot to fill you up a cup of coffee upon arrival. My usual visits are for lunch but having breakfast is a great comfort food lunch. You have to be careful as it's easy to have a $20 lunch. However if you choose some of the lesser priced options and don't go with a juice it's usually a $16-17 meal (tax and tip in) with coffee and water. Recently I had the three cheese Omlette which hit the spot. Allo mon coco does serve bigger plates and Petinos is my number one place but they serve a respectable plate at l'ouefrier! It's a 3.5 star upgraded to a 4 star because the service when I've visited has been spot on!

L'Oeufrier is a breakfast chain established back in 1995 that is currently quickly expanding in and around Montreal region that I feel that within the next few years will be at the tip of everyone's tongue as the place to go to get a great breakfast much to the likes of Allo Mon Coco is today in Laval. L'Oeufrier offers a huge variety of breakfast, brunch, lunch grub within a neat and polish little book that will simply make you more hungry than you already were when you walked in. The selection is overwhelming and in a way, blissful as you can come back over and over and try new things. They have the standard type of breakfasts you can usually get elsewhere, shakes, smoothies, various egg Benedict dishes, omelets, poutine breakfasts?!?, patati patata?!?, grilled cheeses, crepes, waffles, brioches, french toasts... etc. The lunch menu has sandwiches, salads and burgers... all in all, the choices are numerous. I went with "Oui, Je Trippe. Which consists of waffles with bananas with a shower of nutella and bacon. It was.... very rich but soooo yummy. Very good! The coffee hit the spot and consequent refills were done quickly and efficiently. The price tag is reasonable for what is offered. Will I come back? Absolutely!!!! L'Oeufrier... je t'aime.

But before even checking in, we had to walk through Bar George ~ and instantly knew we wanted to eat there. We were lucky enough to grab a last-minute reservation, and Julien took a good care of us throughout the evening. His recommendation of the Beef Wellington was spot on (it's already one of our favorite dishes), but this was hands down the best we've ever had. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. I would absolutely love to come back!!
