Hello This was my second visit at L'Avenue in Laval! I wasn't on Yelp during my first visit If you don't feel like reading, here is my summary rating: Scroll down for my rating scale - Food 9/10 - Price 7/10 - Interior 8/10 - Service 8.5/10 Cappuccino - My boyfriend had the cappuccino and as someone who really enjoys coffee, he really enjoyed it! Nutella Coffee - Wow, no need for sugar, sweet, but not overly sweet. Definitely get the hint of Nutella from the first sip! Only little note was that I saw it was light, I assumed it came with milk automatically so I continued to sip it. When another waitress came to bring my boyfriend his second cappuccino, I asked her if there was milk in my coffee. She said yes but that I had the choice between milks (2%, oat, almond, soy, etc). Our main waitress hadn't given me the options so she offered to make me another with my choice of milk. I really appreciated this gesture and asked for oat instead! The Indecisive : (Copied directly from the menu's website.) 2 free-range eggs served with homemade maple wood smoked beans, our l'Avenue breakfast potatoes and unlimited real maple syrup. With a choice of white baguette or multigrain bread, or a bagel with a choice of one sweet and one salty, I chose the homemade sausage and lemon ricotta pancakes and a blueberry compote. My boyfriend also had the indecisive but chose bacon, french toast stuffed with pistachio cream and topped with a raspberry coulis. Potato's: Really good and flavourful. I parked it with the L'Avenue hot sauce! Eggs: Nothing crazy, sunny side up, typical :) Homemade Sausage: i found the sausage a little drier than I would've expected but not too bad. However, I don't think I would order it again. Maple Wood Smoked Beans: Amazing; wish it came in a bigger cup Lemon Ricotta Pancakes & Blueberry Compote: Topped with whipped cream, this was absolutely to die for. Last time I came, I had the french toast stuffed with pistachio cream and topped with a raspberry compote. Honestly, BOTH are so amazing and decadent. It left my boyfriend and I STUFFED. Absolutely amazing. Would easily recommend either option. Note: I didn't ask but I don't believe the plates come with a regular coffee like the average breakfast place. I'll fact check this next time and edit my review when I do! Price: A little higher than the typical brunch spot but worth every penny for the quality of breakfast you're receiving! The decor is super nice and the staff is sweet! Looking forward to my next visit ------ My Rating Scale : (As someone who isn't picky with food but brutally honest!) I do, however, have a high standard for quality of service. 10 - Perfect, O Complaints 9: Amazing 8: Great 7: Decent 6: Good 5: Average 4: Plain 3: Bad 2. Awful 1: Horrendous

The service has always been very good; of course they can get very busy but it's a popular place so it makes sense. The overall vibe of the restaurant is very nice and very well decorated

(1 Star - honestly would give 0 if I could)…read more Extremely disappointing experience at L'Oeufrier - 1970 Boulevard Le Corbusier, Laval, QC H7S 2K1. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy at all, yet we waited 10-15 minutes to be seated despite plenty of available tables. There was no proper greeting. Instead of being guided to a table, a waitress simply pointed from across the room and said, "Sit here." Not welcoming or professional at all. Once seated, we weren't offered water, coffee, or even acknowledged for another 20 minutes. We had to ask multiple times just to receive basic drinks -- coffee, water, and lemonade -- and even then, they were brought very slowly. It genuinely felt like we were inconveniencing the staff by being there. After finally placing our order, we waited about 30 minutes for our food. During that time, employees were sitting right next to us eating their own meals. I completely understand that staff members need breaks -- that's normal and reasonable. However, eating in the dining area directly beside paying customers, while talking loudly, using inappropriate language, and openly counting and flashing tip money, is extremely unprofessional. They made eye contact with us several times while we were clearly still waiting for service. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable. If staff are taking breaks or discussing tips and personal matters, that should be done in the back, not beside customers who are waiting to be served. The staff never checked on us once to ask if everything was okay. The food itself was mediocre at best. On top of everything, we were charged for a regular coffee, which many breakfast restaurants include with a meal. Overall, the service was slow, disorganized, and highly unprofessional. We did not leave a tip because the service simply did not warrant one. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning.

Its a byow and they don't allow hard drinks, no vodka based drinks. Their menu is limited to pasta and pizza though there are couple of veal and parm dishes. We liked the primavera pasta and the bolognese was spot on. In summer they double their capacity with a terrace. Nice find for simple reasonably priced food.
