After a miserable loss at the bridge, we originally headed over to the Hook for a consolatory pint, but it was packed out and it was getting on in the evening so we went looking for an alternative. We ran into L'Antico as we made our way over to the Kings Road. We entered to find a tight, busy space and we were seated in the hallway which lead to the restroom. No complaints there, we were starving and it seemed that there was a steady stream of patrons wanting in. Mozzarella appetizer arrive quickly and was scrumptious. I ordered the Petto di Pollo alla Parmigiana, chicken breast wrapped in Parma Ham. The Suz had the pasta meatballs. My chicken arrived nicely browned on top, pipping hot with seasonal veg on the side. Flavors were rich and chicken was nice and tender. Great dish to order following the Mozarella. Suzie enjoyed her pasta and was quite a large serving. Meatballs were seasoned well also hit all the flavors one would expect.
Service was friendly and efficient. Although once or twice we had to get their attention since we were down a hallway and out of sight if you would. But, once summed they were right on point. A good find when near the Stamford Bridge. read more
