Here we go again!! Another 5 star reception for my at my favorite adult novelty shop! Johnny was incredibly welcoming and happy to see me like he'd known me. Very friendly and looked me in the eye upon entrance. Offered me help if I needed it. Turns out I did! I needed help with finding a piece of candy wear and I was led right to it. He offered to show me the item (with gloves on of course) and I was pleased with the find. Held a great quick ki-ki about a few venues out in the nightlife in the bay area and he was extremely excited to hear my stories about the Hayward location and the perks of each store. Every single time I come to this store, I make a purchase, yet every experience I have with their employees is absolutely insulting. They are always SO insanely rude and for no reason at all I am always given the biggest attitude, despite my ever-polite demeanor. I worked in retail for almost a decade...so, Like, I get it. I'm sure you deal with unsavory customers of every kind, but I am not one of them. The [either] inability or unwillingness to be able to recognize this and treat your customers accordingly to how they treat you is unacceptable. There are plenty of perfectly capable humans out there that would LOVE to have a job working in such an environment, no matter the type of persons who come into the store. But this late experience I had will indeed, be my LAST. After browsing the outfits like I normally do for, MAYBE 15 minutes most, the employee working came up to me (the only customer in The store except for one woman who came in and out right around this time) and proceeded to yank the items out of my hand and tell me that I had exceeded the 20 minutes browsing time limit (which she's ridiculous, but despite that I still technically had 5 minutes) I didn't really reply, due to my shock, and instead followed him up to the check out counter, and he proceeded to lecture me about having too many items I intended on purchasing (mind you, I had already come and agreed him to set aside 7 clothing accessories including a 50 dollar collar behind the counter) and informed me that I was going to have to wait outside for him to go on his 30 minute lunch break before he would let me check out. I responded by literally begging him to just ring me up really quick as I really needed the outfits and I was pressed for time. and he insisted no, your me that he would let me back in after 12 minutes so he could use the restroom. I exasperated, after, and proceeded to wait outside. He never let me back in and in fact, I'm still waiting for him to unlock the door, it's been closer to 40 minutes now. I went to return DVDs and as soon as I walked in the lady at the front was giving me nasty looks she then proceeded to tell me she was unable to return the DVDs. Only looked at one didnt even open the other one. It seemed like they didn't want our money. It was like pulling teeth to get the very unprofessional male employee to plug something in to see how strong it was. This is the worst business and customer service I have ever encountered. This is my second time renting dvds from this store. My card was charged 70 dollars for a deposit on 2 dvds. The guy working the register told me my card was declined. I then went and got cash out of the atm and got the dvds. When I went to return the dvds and see what I needed to do to get my 70 dollars on my card and my 70 dollar deposit there was a lady with glasses working who had a mental breakdown and started yelling at my fiancé and I because I told her the guy working the night before wasn't skilled on the cash register and had no knowledge on how to tend money. She refused to return any of my money said there was fingerprints on the dvds when I didn't even use one of the dvds. Then she told me that she was calling the cops on me. I have never felt so disrespected from a business. If you want to be disrespected and have your money stolen then you should shop here. Me and one of my friends went into the shop less than a hour ago. The sales associate who is a female but looks like a male was helpful at first and polite. She checked to see if the product works and it did..I than went home and tried the different speeds of the you because it said 10 multi levels and the toy didn't go passed the 3rd one. So I called the store and the same associate answered. She said I should call back during the week during the week day and talk to a manger. She said she couldn't help me.
