Trying to figure it all out.. they were having some issues and it took over 40 mins. She tried numerous ways. Was in contact with her manager and everything. But still no luck and at this point I'm thinking.. WTF. Last time I EVER order off of charming Charlie online. Eventually the figure out that I cannot return in store because I payed via PayPal. So I have to do it old school and print out the slip and write down every single damn item number and ship it myself using my own money. First of all. I don't recall the website mentioning HEY HEY if you order online and pay via PayPal and you aren't happy with your purchase. You cannot return in store!! If I would have known that, I would have never bought online. It's so annoying. So freaking annoying. Wasted 40 mins of my time And then the girl was nice and was like for the inconvenience you can pick anything from the store and get it 50% and I'm just like no.. I'm not sure if I want to invest my money in charming Charlie anymore. Super disappointed.

One thing positive about this place is their deals. Once you found that deal, hold onto it and never let go. The lines may be long, but it goes on quick. Don't come here thinking you'll be in and out quick though.

Only two registers open and one was doing returns as well. The line actually went to the very back of the store. There were at least two other employees meandering around. One of those was in charge of black hangers. She made two announcements that if we removed the black hangers the lines would move faster. Are you kidding me? Her other part in this was to organize the hangers by size and style I guess, as she was doing that on the side of the registers. As I was checking out, they decided to open up two more registers but it was out of control and two late.

But after losing yet another diamond from my wedding ring, I figured, "What do I have to lose?" I am so grateful I walked through their doors. From my very first phone call to meeting John in person, I knew this place was different. John has taken incredible care of both me and my stepdad. He is knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely invested in making sure everything is done right. Elijah has one of those larger-than-life personalities paired with an incredibly kind heart, and Mike greets me with such warmth every single time I come in. Every interaction feels like visiting friends rather than doing business. Over the past several months, they've become my go-to for everything jewelry related. They've repaired sterling silver, gold, and platinum pieces that I honestly thought were beyond saving. They've replaced missing stones, reset diamonds, sized rings, repaired broken bracelets, untangled necklaces that I had all but given up on, and even appraised several family pieces. If I'm being honest, I don't have the best track record when it comes to taking care of my jewelry. Thankfully, this team has my back. They never make me feel embarrassed, they explain everything, charge fair prices, and consistently deliver beautiful workmanship with an impressively quick turnaround. As if all of that wasn't enough, I even won a 1 ctw diamond during their Mother's Day scratcher promotion! It was such a fun and unexpected surprise that perfectly reflects the kind of business they are--they genuinely enjoy making their customers smile. Finding a jeweler you trust is hard. Finding one that treats you like family is even harder. This team has earned my trust completely, and I wouldn't take my jewelry anywhere else. Thank you, John, Elijah, Mike, and everyone on the team for your exceptional craftsmanship, kindness, honesty, and customer service. You have customers for life, and I recommend you wholeheartedly to anyone looking for people who truly care about both their work and the people they serve.

I don't want people coming to my house and recognizing the furniture I have from other stores. I ordered a sectional for my new home (I got to pick out the layout of the sectional, the fabric, and even the fabrics for the accent pillows) and ended up walking away with a new dining table too. I even had the option to have the furniture delivered for a nominal extra fee. The furniture is good quality, and the price is not much more than what you'd pay for furniture anywhere else. I'd highly recommend looking here before committing to furniture from anywhere else. I love just randomly perusing the store every season or so too; it's always changing and always decorated exceptionally well. The fact that they even have sales and a points / reward program is the icing on the cake. Truly thankful to have this store in the Modesto area.
