Charming Charlie - Modesto - Sale - Accessories Near Me - Modesto, California

So I came here 2 days ago to do a return because I bought a whole bunch of earrings online using PayPal So the 2 girls that are there are super sweet. Trying to figure it all out.. they were having some issues and it took over 40 mins. She tried numerous ways. Was in contact with her manager and everything. But still no luck and at this point I'm thinking.. WTF. Last time I EVER order off of charming Charlie online. Eventually the figure out that I cannot return in store because I payed via PayPal. So I have to do it old school and print out the slip and write down every single damn item number and ship it myself using my own money. First of all. I don't recall the website mentioning HEY HEY if you order online and pay via PayPal and you aren't happy with your purchase. You cannot return in store!! If I would have known that, I would have never bought online. It's so annoying. So freaking annoying. Wasted 40 mins of my time And then the girl was nice and was like for the inconvenience you can pick anything from the store and get it 50% and I'm just like no.. I'm not sure if I want to invest my money in charming Charlie anymore. Super disappointed. read more

Jewelry, handbags and baubles galore can be found within Charming Charlie. Charming Charlie features a large selection of accessories at a very accessible and reasonable price point. Think of this store as Icing and Claire's big sister. The store is quite large and is divided in sections by color, which makes it very easy if you are looking for something in a particular shade. What impressed me most, besides the huge selection, was how the styles appeal to a wide age range of girls and women. I found quite a few cute necklaces and earrings even though I'm more of a buy my jewelry at Tiffany kind of girl. Also, it's important to note that if you see something you like, you should probably buy it. They are constantly updating their merchandise and once they sell out of an item, it is gone for good. Fact. read more

Every girls fantasy store!!! My first experience at a Charming Charlies was in Birmingham , AL. Sparkles, shine, bling, all that glitters...This is a great place to buy gifts for any occasion. Accessories galore: purses, shoes, jewelry, clothes, "items that you never thought existed or wanted"...its'' here. Our visit to the Modesto store was cut short, but if it is anything like the other CCs it will be a true hit in the Central Valley. Need to buy something for someone special? Give yourself enough time to walk around this delightful store and in no time your wish will be granted and the recipient will live happily ever after. read more

CC's is the place to find everyday jewelry for your collection. Jewelry is arranged by color, making it easy to find exactly what you need. They also carry purses, wallets, clothing & shoes that are super cute. Prices are very reasonable, especially when they have sales! The employees are very customer service oriented, which is always appreciated! If you need inexpensive, everyday jewelry, CC's is your place! read more

Prior to coming here, I'd never seen or heard of Charming Charlie before, but the store looked so colorful we had to go in and check it out. We were greeted by a nice associate who explained to us what the store was about and gave us a shopping basket. It's an accessories store (mostly jewelry, handbags, rainboots, etc.) but everything is divided by color. There are sections of blue, purple, orange, gold, black, white, you name it, around the store FILLED with accessories. The jewelry was well-priced, about $10 for a necklace and $12 for a necklace + earrings pair. The nice thing is that the jewelry doesn't look cheap. Other stores would sell this stuff for at least $25+. I like to think of this store as a more refined Claire's that is appropriate for all age groups. There were tons of little girls in there enjoying the jewels and colors as much as their mothers and grandmothers. It's definitely a fun place to shop. They're still expanding in the west coast and have still to get a bay area location. I'm looking forward to when they do open a bay area location! read more

CC's is one of my favorite stores for purses, gifts and accessories. With that said, this particular store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When we walked in last night the first thing the employees said was "Just want to let you know, we're closing in 20 minutes and we still have to close the cash register." This was followed by "We're closing in 17 minutes.... 14 minutes... Then 10 minutes" At the 5 minute mark the clerk said "I'm locking the doors!". I understand that they want to go home, but not once did the ask if there is anything we needed, or ask to assist us in any way. You would think if they wanted us out they would have offered to help us find something. I'm throughly disgusted with their lack of customer service and just plain rude attitude. This is the 3rd time I've been rushed out of this store, and I have no intention to shop here again. read more

Coll store, a little pricey but you WILL find your matching jewelry. The only thing that is annoying is the staff is very pushy and is always asking you what they can help you find. Its kind of annoying. Other than that, its cool. They also have watches, purses, shoes and clothes. read more

4 stars for the store itself. I love how everything is color coded it makes things 10x easier. BUT -1 star for the rude employees. Walked in the other day to see if I could find anything out of boredom. Was asked if I was looking for anything in particular I told ALICIA that I was just browsing today. She said very rudely "are you sure because you seem to know where you're going" so I let her know I'm just walking to the back to see if there's anything good on the clearance rack and walk back there. as I was looking I was given a coupon by another lady and after 5 minutes of looking I decided to leave. I put my basket back and gave another customer in the store the coupon and went to walk out. On my way out I was stopped again by Alicia and she told me "okay well I'm going to need that coupon back so I can give it to someone else". Ew how tacky. They have such a limited amount of coupon that they have asking for them back? I'm not sure what her problem was but don't work customer service if you can't handle the customers boo! read more

Wow! It was so exciting to walk into this store! Every color was grouped together to make it easy to see what you wanted. If you can't find an accessories that you need here, I don't think you'll find it anywhere! Can't wait to go back!! The gals are so helpful too! read more

Oh thank my lucky stars that I walked into this charm for a color-coded store! Hats and scarves and jewelry and shoes and hair stuff all arranged by color. And not just blue and red and black. We're talking corral and turquoise and sea foam and golden rod. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable and just overall super nice gals. At one point I "lost" my mom and the saleslady saw this and said, "Oh, she's over in orange." They were all just very attentive. I left with a hat, a ring and a bracelet. I can't wait to come back! read more

The lady at the register was very rude. Asked her how she was doing, didn't respond just kept looking at things on the counter. After she gave me my bag & receipt I said "have a good day" and she just turned around and finished doing what she was doing. Atleast have the respect to say "you too". Won't be shopping here again. I'm all about customer service ‍ read more

I get lost in this store everytime I go... I love the organization and variety it offers.

The employee outside obnoxiously announcing the sale and to spin the wheel if anything makes customers not want to come in. It's more of an annoyance if anything read more

Love this store! Very organized and clean. Staff is helpful but not overly pushy. Tons of cute jewelry, and even some cute tops in here!! I would say prices are average, a little more expensive than Forever 21 jewelry, but you get what you pay for. read more

Great stuff, would recommend shopping but AVOID THE STAFFf. I am boycotting this store- there are other ones. like Salinas that may not be as big, but the staff is respectful and knowledgeable and that goes a long, long way with me Even the manager at the Modesto store blew me off while I tried to talk to her. Shop on line! read more

I've been in here before and not found anything that I was looking for, but that doesn't mean they don't have a great selection. I have found other great items at other locations in the past. However, today's experience, I felt really uncomfortable as soon as I walked in. A tall woman with bright red hair greeted me at the door almost aggressively, shouting "Hello, how are you?!" I was so shocked by how loud and pushy it seemed that all I could say was "good?" before I walked away. I made a quick loop around the store and went back up to the front where I first saw purses in my favorite color and noticed the same woman basically chasing people down, asking them if they needed any help (as though you could need help in a store like this as you were looking over a specific item, which I witnessed twice) and then she started chasing people down asking if they needed a basket, which looked small enough to maybe fit a loaf of bread in. I felt so afraid that she would approach me and make me feel uncomfortable again that I literally put down the bag I was looking at and snuck out of the store while she had her back turned to me was bothering another customer. I run into this issue often at a lot of stores. I never understand why there needs to be a greeter or someone coming around asking if you need help, which I will seek out if I need it. It is an automatic turn off for me and I will leave the store almost immediately in cases like this. However, I have never run into someone as aggressive with her need to "help" and talk to people as this woman. It caused me great anxiety and I felt that it prevented me from purchasing the adorable sea foam green purse I was considering. The next time I pass this store, if she is at the front of it, I will just continue walking. read more

This store is so fun! Lots of costume jewelry that are reasonably priced. The sales people are decent enough but, its so fun to see all the sparklies :) read more

This is a great store with a very big selection! My only complaint...Way too much customer service. When my daughter and I walked in we were immediately greeted and givien a very nice introduction to Charming Charlies by a very cute associate. I wish I had gotten her name, she had short blonde hair, blue eyes and was quite petite in stature. That was perfect!! But, while browsing we must have been asked 5 times if we needed help. Why not just say if there is anything we can help you with just ask an associate. We have one in every color section. It has the feel of what you would get walking into a car lot to buy a car. On the plus side, it really is an awesome store with lots of choices. Remember customer service is great but too much is too much. read more

LOVED the store, I was in heaven, I spent quite awhile here and quite a lot of money. To bad that when I got home I put on a pair of earrings and they broke, and then I take the other earrings off of the paper and their were broken pieces that fell off laying in the bag, EVERYTHING i bought fell apart, I did not have one good thing that I bought that I could actually use, Bad part is I live an hour away and dont get there that often, but I will not buy from them again, spent a lot of money on items that just fell apart. read more

Love the Charming Charlie store when I went to Vegas, a lot of cute accessories, so decided to pay a visit to the one in Modesto. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon at about 2 pm, and I know there is usually a greeter at the door but she had her back turned to me as I walked in, and saw me but no greeting at all but she greeted the people who walked in behind me. I thought that was odd. I proceeded to walk around the whole store to see what I wanted to buy because I love the products, I was already turned off with the customer service. As a was walking out of the store, the same thing happened, the employee thanked the people who walked out before me, but didn't say thank you to me as I was walking out. I was ready to spend a lot of money here, but I felt the employees are prejudice to who they help and greet. Rather drive 8 hours to Vegas for better customer service. At least they don't discriminate and treat everyone as a valuable customer. Avoid the Modesto store!! read more
