What can more can I say about this place other than it being a smorgasbord of chaos. Open packages, stained clothing, misplaced items and so much more. One thing positive about this place is their deals. Once you found that deal, hold onto it and never let go. Don't even think of having second thoughts because once you do, it won't be there the next day. They check receipts as you exit the store to make sure there's no unpaid merchandise being carried out. The lines may be long, but it goes on quick. Don't come here thinking you'll be in and out quick though. read more

This store needs help. Help in employees being observant or at the very least the on shift manager. Stood in line for 45 minutes to check out. Only two registers open and one was doing returns as well. The line actually went to the very back of the store. There were at least two other employees meandering around. One of those was in charge of black hangers. She made two announcements that if we removed the black hangers the lines would move faster. Are you kidding me? Her other part in this was to organize the hangers by size and style I guess, as she was doing that on the side of the registers. As I was checking out, they decided to open up two more registers but it was out of control and two late. read more

Wish I could give this store a 0 star. The store is filthy Joyce the manager is rude and disrespectful to the clients. My elderly mother was there and they would not help her put something in her cart. She asked for support and Joyce was extremely rude and said yeah we don't do that kind of help here. They also have associates walking around talking about customers and yelling across the store. I was at the Ross on Sisk Road this evening and horrible customer service. I asked the manager about purchasing a cabinet and asked if I could get some help getting it to the front and into my car and she said they could not help load the cabinet. She does not have customer skills to be a manager and need to learn to be kinder to elderly people. I will not shop at the Ross store ever again. You lost a good customer. read more

I've shopped here forever and today some idiot with LP was following me. I make more in a day than this dude makes in a paycheck, maybe i looked like shit today because we had just got done walking to the park and back and decided to stop before picking up my daughter from school. i don't know but it was so rude and humiliating as hell. my three year old said why is that guy following us? I was abruptly greeted by Gabriella, Associate #2077196, screaming from behind the register that I need to take the TJMaxx cart I had outside; "Either you take it out or we will, It is against store policy". The pleasant store security who was working at the door had given me permission to bring the cart in since I was just returning something and heading back to TJ Maxx to return their cart. Customers stopped in their tracks wondering what all the commotion was about. I switched out the cart full of my things and left the TJ Maxx cart outside. You would have thought I was a criminal with the tone she had. She was even worse when I came through her line for my return. Snappy, loud, entitled, rude, no diplomacy, and immature. It is unfortunate that Ross allows this behavior to be front and center in their store. read more

I've been to many Ross's and this is one of the better ones to me! Huge selection of clothings and everything is well-organized.

Ross, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx are iffy propositions. You may find something you really like, but will you find your size, your color? My buddy and I were at Best Buy and I was looking for a parking place for Target and ended up close enough that he said something about Ross. I didn't think it was that exciting but when we went inside, they had better brands than I remembered. In fact, they had similar shoes to what I was wanting, from DC Shoes. Instead of $55.00, they were $29.99. Of course, beggars can't be choosers, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc. etc. They weren't quite the color combination that I wanted, nor the correct size. Some of the clothes were interesting without being too interesting, if you know what I mean. He mentioned that everything in the store was irregular, and I took that as an insult. Of course, he was likely correct, but excuse me for not measuring up to perfection. When I used to shop these kinds of stores, I had to do it weekly to find anything that I wanted. They may get new stock, but it never seems as though the old stock goes away, and it was rare to find something my size that I wanted. I've learned from the past not to use a card here--cash is safe. I had two cards changed because of Ross and TJ Maxx, so no more of that. Then again, almost every store is susceptible now. read more

I can't believe they didn't return my item. Receipt said some weird words that had nothing to do with the item I bought didn't really think much of it and when I tried returning it the lady was rude since "it didn't match". Then I said ok well if I have to return it from the original store won't I be in the same situation then said that "they'll check the cameras" like what????? So dumb. I was told i could not shop there because I walked in with a TJ Maxx cart. I know sounds ghetto, but here's why.. I had gone shopping at TJ Maxx first using one of their carts but did not find anything so I just walked over to Ross. As soon as I walked in the security guard stopped me and told me I could not shop there unless I was using a Ross cart. Yes it would have been a simple thing to switch carts, but I had my 18 month old daughter, her shopping cart cover and my diaper bag I would have to switch over, which if you're a mom you understand is easier said then done! It was pretty embarrassing the way he stopped me and acted like I was really doing something wrong by not letting me go any further into the store. I looked at him and asked him if he was being serious. He said he was in a very rude, serious tone. I turned around and walked out. I will never go back to that store. They're ridiculous with all their rules. read more

So I see that the 2 star average is well earned. Walked in this morning at approx 8:50 or so and was only 1 of about 5 shoppers in the store, the only one entering and unavoidable to the greeter and manager. I say good morning to which neither of them responds. Instead the super tall blond kid just flips the number panel showing how many shoppers are in store. You are a greeter, you literally have one job ! A couple issues: #1. I DETEST when customer service people don't greet their customers first- the customer should never be the one to initiate the greeting. I work in customer service, I absolutely hate that & I would fire you. #2. Clearly it's the manager that sets the tone (short Asian chick, couldn't see her name badge) & her lack of customer service skills -general courtesy skills are woefully lacking. I also encountered her in a couple of aisles, still no acknowledgement. The only saving grace of this store was the other employee stocking / sweeping was polite and my cashier (accent, possibly Assyrian or Persian?) was super friendly and personable. Maybe the associates need to teach their manager or shift lead a thing or two about service. They're lucky this is obviously a high traffic location that can withstand negative reviews, but just because you CAN get away with something doesn't mean you SHOULD. There's a reason why you have two stars- FIX it! The only reason I gave three is that my 5 stars for the cashier average out the -2 for the manager and greeter. read more

Clerk at changing room dropped a pair of pants I was wanting to try on then left them on the floor! I picked them up and she just handed me the hanger!! Now they are dusty from the dirty floor and she didn't apologize. Ok so we get to the register never got a " hello did you find everything you were looking for?" Nope no greeting! young man was having trouble removing clothes from the hangers so I removed all hangers for him never said anything handed us the receipt I waited for a "thank you come again" nothing! This particular location is small and poorly stocked. Lots of empty shelf space and limited selection.

I come here really often, and almost every time I have to wait in line , even with 5 employees visibly doing nothing. I really like this store as far as the product that comes in , they have great selections. I'm super big on customer service so because this is a constant problem , I have to give them a low rating. The cashiers are usually really serious and rude , and there is never an apology for the long wait. If they could get improve their customer service , this place would be great. read more

Called to see what time they closed and they had NO clue! Once I asked them the question they replied with "ummmmmmm I think at 10, but IDK"! They actually said IDK - not "I don't know"! I shake my head..I have no clue how some people with low IQ's get hired but people who have college degrees get nowhere. I love checking in weekly or every other week for new gym apparel but they make me feel like I'm a suspect every time I go :( maybe they think I'm stealing because I frequent this place and sometimes don't find things so I leave empty handed. Yesterday was my first time at this location and I was very impressed. I found a huge selection of clothing for our vacation at a fraction of the cost! The aisles were neat and orderly and the selection was good. The fitting room did not have a wait, nor did the check out line which was a great compared to The long line always at Burlington. I love this store it's one of my favorite to shop at. They got good prices on everything except the furniture. I usually find good Levi's for about $20-25. Or other branded jeans like CK, Ecko, MK, and much more. There's always nice graphic tee shirts here too. Not to mention the sports jerseys they offer. There's also good branded sports shoes and dressing shoes as well. Also work boots at good prices. I usually shop here for work clothes. Or workout clothes. They sometimes have good stuff over at the electronics too. Such as phone cases, Chargers, hd cables and more. For women they offer the same great selections of clothing. My fiancé has bought 3 sweaters here already, for good prices. You can also find accessories, toys and perfumes here too. Therefore I give this place two thumbs up!! read more
