Very friendly and looked me in the eye upon entrance. Offered me help if I needed it. Turns out I did! I needed help with finding a piece of candy wear and I was led right to it. He offered to show me the item (with gloves on of course) and I was pleased with the find. Held a great quick ki-ki about a few venues out in the nightlife in the bay area and he was extremely excited to hear my stories about the Hayward location and the perks of each store. It may not be relevant for you, but I know that I cant be the only one that enjoys a well lit store. I also love the really big selections of lingerie, lotions and potions! The selection of toys is even more impressive while the prices are average for an adult novelty store. I'm a sales/discount shopper and you can definently find a few deals if you keep your eyes peeled or better yet, check the app or here's one that you won't believe...ask the clerk. Right? They don't have any AI at the counter so far so go talk to a human being while you can! The issue that is make or break for me with any business is customer service and so far, all the staff I've encountered there has been friedly and knowledgable. Trust me, if you're in the market for toys and/or lotions and potions, and you don't know exactly what you're looking for, it helps tremendously when someone can explain all the cool feature of the different items. We thought it was a good deal so we gathered a shopping bag full of stuff. Here's where it got bad. My mother and I were checking out and our entire total came out to be 404 dollars!!! That wad extremely pricey and we asked the cashier why the total was so high if everything in the store was 50 percent off. She ended up telling us that nothing we got was 50 percent off and it turned out that the employee who told us that everything in the store was 50 percent off was telling every customer that. She also said that we were not the first ones to complain about that. We were absolutely livid! The manager came over and apologized for the inconvenience. But she said she couldn't override it or give us a percentage off for the inconvenience we received! That was absolutely unprofessional. And the whole trip there was a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! I couldn't believe that a store manager would not give us at least a 20 percent off the purchase for the inconvenience we received because of that employee! It was her fault and we didn't get anything out of it. The manager was not friendly at all and the fact that she didn't do anything about this whole thing made me angrier than I was before when I found out that employee was giving misleading information! We ended up saying that we didn't want anything and walked out empty handed. This store ruined my day. The employee who was giving false information ruined my day and the manager ruined my day because of not giving us anything for the inconvenience we received! It's too bad I didn't get the employee's name because she wasn't wearing a name tag. The manager wasn't wearing one either. At the register, however, I was helped by a different girl who seemed like she was having a terrible day. I walked over when SHE called me, but then gave me a terrible attitude over nothing. I paid for my first transaction & then got the second one, she asked if I wanted to put my number again. I said yes and I told her the screen didn't show up for me to type it. She said "okay." And just rang me up. Didn't let me type it or ask for it to type it on her end. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back to this particular location. I know what it's like to work in retail and have bad days- you don't mean to take it out on the customer, but I did nothing but go to her when she asked me to.

A totally different person, who was rude and not helpful! I explained to her that I had two rewards yesterday, and I only used one of them, so I should still have one left. She sort of snapped at me and told me that it might have expired. Additionally, she gave me the wrong # to contact when I asked for customer service. She gave me the credit card line (1-800-888-4163), when I needed Lane Bryant's customer service (1-866-681-1746). That sent me on a whole different rabbit hole experience! Online it listed: (1-866-886-4731). The supervisor claimed she couldn't hear me. I had to call about six different times to several different phone numbers before arriving at the correct place, which ended up being a total waste of time! The representatives on the phone were not helpful either. It is a shame that the negative experience really outweighed the positive.

Not to mention the fact that these bras make me feel like a woman and a little extra sexy. Ms. Edith was such a delight and so welcoming. She instantly greeted me and asked if she could assist me in finding anything. She went straight to work in finding these two bras and they worked perfectly. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes (after looking around at other clothes). The store is clean & super organized. There is plenty of free and safe parking and the location is easy to find across from the mall.
