If you want good customer service. This place is not it! My family and I went here on Tuesday night, 06/10 around 7 PM and we were going to buy a total of 5 pairs of crocs for my wife, kids, and I. The girl behind the register didn't even move from the register and never came by to help us. Like there was nobody there. We could of probably even stole and she wouldn't move. Terrible customer service. Not transparent about store policies. Staff gaslit me as a customer. Would not let us complete refund even though treated customer and within the 30 day window. Also the current manager refused to provide options for return if cash refunds were ongoing be provided. There was a hidden sign of no refunds in cash purchases but no mention when asked about refund policy and it stated in receipt. No options to contact corporate. Refused to provide additional information for store owner or customer service. Left very disappointed. 0/5 stars if I must. If flip flop shop corporate or ownership is seeing this, please reach out. This is where my family and I get all our flip flops! I have filled two punch cards and gotten two free pairs already! Love that customer loyalty reward! Also, bought my son a new pair for Christmas, he put them in his room and didn't try them on until two months later, it was cold in December, well they were too big. Receipt says you can't return after 30 days, so we chalked it up to us being dummy's! We went in April to get him some new ones before spring break and the same friendly gal was working that we always see. I told her the story about the too big flip flops and said bummer we can't use them...she said oh you can bring them back for store credit if tags are still attached, no problem! Hurray!! Love that!! I've purchased many flip flops from this amazing store. I've had the BEST experience ever, SUPER friendly employees who were right there to help me find my size and style. I couldn't ask for better CUSTOMER SERVICE in a store. In fact I only wish that all mall employees were as helpful as the employees at the FLIP FLOP store. If I could give zero stars, I would. Two trips out to the mall to complete an exchange and still I have a pair of shoes I cannot use. The first day, yesterday, the problem seemed to be, per the repetitive comments from the sales person, was that " I did not have the original box and that they are a franchise." I did have the original receipt and a tag was still on the shoes. Additionally, they weren't given to me in the box. Also they did not have the needed size in stock. Nor was I given the option to locate the correct pair at another store...again, it was stated that they are a franchise and I did not have the box. WTF?So upon leaving the mall yesterday, I contacted my niece, from whom the gift came, and she brought me the box last night. So today, back out to the mall I go. At this point, I'm just want to get a gift card, so that I may have the option to order online. But, to no avail! Alas, I was informed that their gift card system is not working. "Maybe you should just get a Visa gift card, instead"... when I told the salesperson (different than the previous day) that I wasn't following, she proceeded to try to explain to me what a prepaid Visa card is!!! Ugh!! No! I asked, how does that pertain to me and my return? She said , oh just to get a Visa card with my refund and give that to whoever this gif was for and they could spend it in there. Again, WTF? Then when I informed her that I didn't make the original purchase, she said they would need the original card in order to process the return. This is why people shop online. Went to the store to look at some Sanuk shoes and was greeted by a helpful employee who gave me info on how to size myself with the Sanuk brand. She was very attentative. I bought two pairs of Sanuk's and they had a deal of buy one get the second pair for 30% off. I ended up changing my mind about them. I went back the next day to return them and found out they do not take returns on sale items so I could only get a refund on one pair and store credit for the other. They did have a sign on the front counter with their return policy but I failed to notice it the day before and it would've been nice to have been told about that policy when purchasing a sale item (I find that an unusual policy) I ended up buying some flip flops. They have a nice selection of styles and brands but they were out of quite a few of my size. I will definitely rethink my purchase at this store if there are sales. read more

I had walked by this store a few times but never stopped and actually went in. Well I am so glad I finally did.. For one, they sell my absolute favorite flip flop ever, Yellowbox, its like walking on a cloud... and for two, the guy working that day (my receipt said Blake) he made my day with his friendly and outgoing personality... great customer service and his never ending smile. This store is by far the best in the mall when it comes to flip flops! I always purchase my flip flops and sandals here and the quality is totally worth the price. I'd rather spend $40 on high quality flip flops then buying cheap o depos ones that break after a couple wears. Blake is awesome and if they don't have a size he will always special order your size and call you when they come in. Very accommodating especially when you have size 10 foot. read more

The Flip Flop is my families one stop flip flop shop. We like it because has a large variety of flip flop brands and styles. My favorite brand is OluKai. A quality brand, great value, and well worth the price. I purchased the Kumu flip flop which is all leather and really comfortable. I had them for 3 summers. I now have the Ono flip flop which is water friendly and comfortable. The FFS had friendly service. They are attentive but not overbearing. read more

Ever had such a bad encounter you felt you needed the whole world to know? I did today with this shop and its owner. I tried to return a pair of overpriced sandals given as a gift from my husband. Receipt? Check. Unworn? Check. Original tags? Never removed, check. When I went to the counter, the checker said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I can't give you a refund because your receipt is stamped." Huh? I guess they gave my husband a "buy six sandals, get one free" card with a stamp. He doesn't even remember receiving the card. When I called the owner immediately afterward to ask for a little grace as I was pregnant, tired, and with my 3-year-old, he refused to refund me, and was pretty rude to me with comments like, "Why should I change my policy for you and nobody else?" And "I have grace - I help out my community." Hmmmm... Maybe he's helping his community understand a little bit more about how not to be schemed. read more

Yup sorry to say to all you people I have the same experience. They employees are very nice and helpful, very attentive and do their best to help but their return policy is kind of outrageous which is no fault of the employees this obviously comes from higher up so whom ever owns this store obviously has no business etiquette and I'm pretty sure I know who it is some guy who is very disrespectful to his employees and jumps on them before they have a chance to do their job. Very disappointed in ownership. I had just walked in and before the young girl had a chance to do anything he very rudely and sternly told her to ask me if I needed help and to do her job then he jumped up and asked me himself. Very very disappointing to see some one like that who thinks they know how to run a business but clearly they don't.
