I was serviced by two different employees on my visit. The first was this super sweet girl who told me about a deal they had going on & showed me some options. At the register, however, I was helped by a different girl who seemed like she was having a terrible day. I walked over when SHE called me, but then gave me a terrible attitude over nothing. I paid for my first transaction & then got the second one, she asked if I wanted to put my number again. I said yes and I told her the screen didn't show up for me to type it. She said "okay." And just rang me up. Didn't let me type it or ask for it to type it on her end. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back to this particular location. I know what it's like to work in retail and have bad days- you don't mean to take it out on the customer, but I did nothing but go to her when she asked me to. read more

One of the staff was rude to my mom. When the employee was showing my mom some of the bras, specifically the ones with small gold-tone V-shaped hardware accents on the front of the bra between the two cups, my mother asked if that would leave an imprint on the skin. The employee said no one has complained about that happening but you'd be the first one. Which was weird and rude of her to say considering my mom was just asking and the employee walked away. I had the best experience! It was the semiannual sale so it was so busy, I walked in and was greeted immediately with a smile by an associate. Breanna Sisco was so nice and helpful she took my measurements and really listened to what I wanted and needed in a bra. She was so insightful and made my shopping experience AMAZING! She took my measurements and told me to go straight to the fitting room and she would bring me a couple of bras that she thought would look good on me and give me the perfect amount of support. I wish I could leave 0 stars for the associates that helped me today. I bought a perfume from them where the sprayer was broken, and I wanted an exchange. she comes back with a new perfume just to tell me she couldn't exchange it due to the amount gone. (1/4 of an inch due to leaking). I asked to speak to a manager and she also did nothing for me. I was frustrated as this as an 80$ perfume. I asked for her name so I could call corporate, she said best I can do is give you my associate id number. once I had my notes out to take that down she refused. I was at Victoria Secret in Modesto on June 20, 2025 around 10am-12pm and had a really great experience. I was struggling with my bra sizes and the girl in the fitting room was doing an exceptional job at helping me. She helped me understand my size and how it showed feel and look. I felt like everyone in the fitting room had her going back and forth with sizes for us but she never expressed how much of a hassle it was. She was very energetic and just eager to help us find the right product. I really wish I would've gotten her name I just know she was operating the fitting room on that date between those hours. The employees here have the worst attitude. They're only nice if they think you're going to buy something. Everytime I go in there to buy underwear and I leave because they are so rude. They need to let people look around without constantly badgering them about products. There was an employee named Taylor there I haven't seen in a while and she was genuine and nice but the rest of the staff is only focused on upselling you. Today whoever was at the front had the worst attitude problem when I told her I wasn't going to buy the underwear I was looking at . I love the sales that they regularly have. More importantly, they do bra fittings which is very important to have a proper fitting bra. Most places no longer offer this. As we women age, gain weight, lose weight etc our bra sizes change and adjust. That said had a wonderful experience shopping for undergarments, and managed to pick up a wonderful scent called bombshell while at Victoria's secret. I was greeted upon entry, which rarely happens in this day and age. Once in line the line moved quickly and they made sure I had everything I needed. I went into this store originally just looking for a gift for my friend's bridal shower but I left with an experience much greater than that. The girls who work here are all extremely helpful & great. I was originally greeted and helped the most by Cynthia who was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond any expectation I could have ever had. She left such a lasting impression on me that I actually felt compelled to search up the store and write a review! It's not often nowadays that you encounter such personal customer service. Cynthia was so good at her job and personable that I actually felt like I was talking to a long time friend. I am mom to a 2 year old and had been wearing a sagging bra from my post pregnancy weight loss for over a year. Today we waited in line for over 30 minutes and they didn't even have what I needed. I understand the COVID restrictions, but they had a circle of girls on the floor talking for 10-15 minutes. Imagine if they used those girls to go out to the line with iPads and streamline service and if items are out of stock, placed orders through the iPad and handled simple customer service issues. I will cringe if I ever have to go back to this Victoria's Secret. I'm not sure if it was everyone's first day on the job or what. I was able to locate my bachelorette gift by MYSELF without ever being acknowledged by the staff of the floor (which turns out is where most of the staff was located). Because then when I went to check out there was ONE girl, who was clearly new as she had no idea how to change the receipt roll, to help the mounting line of disgruntled customers. I didn't really start getting irritated until a customer walked up to.... I'm not really sure but just happened that another employee showed up to help the lone warrior. She decided to help.... Her. The girl who has waited two seconds while the rest of us continue to get expanding varicose veins. Finally. My turn. It felt like hours but was probably a solid 20 minutes. I get the new girl. I spoke loudly because I wanted others to hear. I said," it's really not fair for you to be handling all of these people yourself when there are so many other people on the floor handling panties. In fact, this line was longer but many abandoned their lip gloss and thong purchase as the wait is just unbearable." Two sales associates come out of the back, which I can only assume was the break room. "Crystal", tried to diffuse the situation by laying into me that there is nothing that can be done due to staffing issues. She said a few other curt things to me. I had mentioned that I didn't have a very good experience at the Sacramento VS last week when Isabel asked me about the last time I was sized. She sent me back to the fitting room where Jasmine had given me the fit bra to try on. Crystal personally came back to help me because she heard about my experience in Sacramento. She had told me that she wanted me to have an amazing experience this time and told me she was going to give me 20% off for Sacramento falling short! I couldn't believe it!! She seriously went above and beyond for me. She asked me what had happened and I had told her my mom was upset as well and she threw in a complementary perfume for my mom. I checked out their half yearly clearance, and there was ample bras, help, and boobs. My only complaint is that their prices were often mismarked, in that the same style of bra would have different prices; reflecting a 1 to 4 dollar spread. Came in here because I got a $10 Off Coupon in the mail & was overdue for a comfy bra. The store was really crowded so it was hard to squeeze around people and find what I wanted. Thankfully a Sales Girl came over and saved me lots of time! By convincing me to get measured in the dressing room, she saved me from getting the wrong fit and style all while going out and grabbing everything I asked for for me so I didn't have to navigate around a crowded store with my small child in tow. In the end, I found a perfect fit, saved $10 plus got a free undie and even got to keep the $10 Off to reuse! Nice store, good selection however you will have to wait in line for 40 minutes. I'm not exaggerating. I've been to this location twice and both times the customers had to experience brutally long lines. I'm usually fairly patient but when it takes a better part of an hour to check out, it ruins the shopping experience. I stood in line for a total of 30 minutes to exchange an item for a different size. The lady does the exchange for the same item and size, I needed a different size. I check my bag and the same size I came in with was in my bag. I had to wait in line again, checked the size of the item I was holding to do another exchange to make sure I got it right. I hand her the medium and says I need to exchange the small for the medium. Another lady comes up and says "she wanted the medium" I'm preoccupied with my toddler and assume I'm good to go. Get home to find out the medium is not in my bag, it's still a small. HOW? Honestly I've been in retail for 14 years and worked in clothing before, it's not that complicated. Now I have to make another trip, but not back to this location. Oh and all the mediums were in the small drawer and all the smalls were in the medium drawer. read more

I went into the pink store, I was greeted by 3 different women who worked there, one being the manager. All very friendly and super helpful. Shout out to Andrea for going to the back to see if they had any of the Halloween underwear. Not once but three times total. Amazing customer service and super happy, easy going atmosphere. Stood in line for about 20-25 minutes, which wasn't bad since it was busy. This store is big and has everything you may be looking for, but make sure you have someone wait in line while you look because you'll be spending more than half an hour in line. And once you actually get to the line you'll have to share the associate with another customer. I find this very disrespectful. I have done business with this company for a long time, but very disappointed recently. I returned a defective item to the Modesto store in December that they told me I should receive in February. A long time, but at least I knew. As of the middle of March, I had not received it. I called, apparently it got overlooked and they said they would ship it out. I received it the third week of March, but they shipped the wrong size. I called again and spent 20 minutes on the phone and was treated rudely, no apology at all. This is the first time I had been to this location and it was the best experience I have ever had shopping for bras. There is something truly special about the staff here. I could tell they were very busy but they all made sure I was well taken care of. Amanda in particular has a gift with the public! She is absolutely incredible and has full knowledge of the product. She actually has made my whole life better by making sure I am fully stocked with bras that fit perfectly. It may sound extreme but it has boosted my self esteem and has made very happy! Trying to impress a certain lady in your life? Victoria's Secret isn't the go-to bra/underwear/lingerie place it use to be. Everything is getting cut back including the quality of the material used, bath and body selection, and the availability of gift boxes. Even the surprise rewards is getting trimmed and remodeled. The quality of the material has been going downhill and if you complain too much they put you on a monitored ban list so you can't get a refund on the purchase you're complaining about and future purchases (also, cautionary side note, they use an umbrella company to monitor consumers so it can affect you at other retailers including Best Buy). These bras use to have a lifetime guarantee because they were so pricey. My gel lined bra exploded while I was wearing it and stained my blouse with oil. The store and customer service refused to acknowledge it because it was purchased over thirty days ago. Victoria's Secret use to have bath gels. When they were initially phasing them out, they sent some of the scents over to Bath and Body, now they're completely phased out. The hair products have been reduced and removed as well. Popular perfumes that's been around for over a decade were also phased out. The only explanation I can imagine for this is that the profit margin wasn't big enough for the company. Now the only thing left on the shelf are the cheap, crappy mist and perfumes. Gift boxes use to be available year round but now it's only available during Christmas. My little cousins (10, 12, 13) wanted to get their mom a just-because gift last week. The cashier squeezed the lotion and mist into a small store bag. It ripped on the sides and she proceeded to tell us that this was their gift bag option. I may have rolled my eyes at her but held my tongue because the girls didn't know any better. One of the best thing about Victoria's Secret was their Secret Rewards Program. You didn't have to buy anything in order to get a Secret Rewards Card. They'd send you a surprise card valued anywhere between $10-$500. I've only ever got the $10 rewards card. You don't have to use the full value of the card but it's only good for one transaction so the remainder is forfeited. The new version of the rewards program requires you to meet a minimum $$$ purchase requirement in order to qualify, and once you get your rewards card, there's another minimum $$$ purchase requirement in order for you to use the rewards you just earned. Essentially the new rewards program is just a discount system, not a real rewards system. read more

Luckily one of the girls advised me to go to the fitting room and try on all the bras that was my size. Went in and tried the bras and once I tried the bombshell, I did not like it.
