Small breakfast

We had a short breakfast here. It is so quaint! Love the decor. The serive was fast and friendly! The crepes are good and so are the croissants- we're in Paris they kinda have to be, lol. Good price for a drop in breakfast.

This is one of the best places we have visited in Paris. The staff both the waiter and the bartender were so kind, talkative, and inviting. We ordered the charcuterie board, fried mozzarella sticks, and burrata. All of the food was delicious. We also ordered the old fashioned, Mexican candy, long live the queen, munk sour, and amaretto sour. If you're looking for a cocktail bar to relax and talk, this is the place to be. Would highly recommend you come here while in Paris

Excellent place to eat and relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is always great. Highly recommend coming here and enjoying both the food and the drinks.

Breakfast with omelet, croissant, cappuccino, and fresh squeezed Orange juice - delicious!

Had a wonderful breakfast in this adorable cafe. We got the full breakfast with cappuccino, omelet, croissant or baguette and fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything was absolutely delicious, and service was friendly, nice music playing. Perfect start to the day!

Good place for kids, it's lively. There is a long banquette in the back that faces this little bar prep area-perfect for a big group.

Cute bistro, super friendly service, and good food & drink. Came here originally because it was close to where we stayed and they were showing the rugby games, came again another night because we had such a good time there. They were very accommodating in seating our large family group of 10, and the owner/man in charge is super friendly and funny. He spoke Spanish, English, and French with us and when we came back referred to us as his "Spanish friends". They also served the best Aperol Spritzes we had on this trip- refreshing and not too sweet. Food was simple and tasty. Some things we tried: croque madame, pasta with chicken and olives, fish & chips, fish and vegetables, French fries, etc.

Had a really nice lunch here. Service was wonderful. Coffee was tasty. Crepes with jam were so delicious and buttery. Onion soup was also amazing. Really nice vibes near the Eiffel Tower.

Delicious drinks in an adorable locale

We stayed at an apartment on Rue Cler for 6 nights. I'm ashamed to say that we did not take advantage of L'Eclair until our 5th night. It was SO good we ended up returning for dinner our 6th night and breakfast the morning we left. The waiters were simply wonderful and took such good care of us. I wish I'd thought to snap more pictures. We had a salad with ham that was simply divine and the drinks were beyond fabulous. If we ever make it back to Paris, we will for sure visit L'Eclair again. Can't believe we traipsed all over the city trying various "it" places when we had this gem right across the street all along!

This is the best croque monsieur I have ever seen or eaten. My mom got the croque madame and was in love with the flavors of it. I am very picky when it comes to fries, and these passed the test with flying colors. The size, color, taste, and warmth were so on point. The waitstaff was very kind and funny, making them a place I would love to go to again! I wish I could give them 4.5 stars - the only loss of half a star is that the smoking and non-smoking sections of the restaurant aren't terribly sectioned off. Luckily by the time we went to l'Eclair, we had been in France for a week and gotten used to the excess cigarette smell so it didn't bother us at this point. If we had gone earlier in our trip, it would have probably bothered us more.

Cute little place, the whole rue was very quaint. We had our last meal (brunch) in Paris here. Food was great, friendly service, ambiance was awesome too! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Juicy hamburger

The sweetest waiters in all of Paris :) They were very personable and friendly and sent you off by personally handing you pieces of dark chocolate as a parting gift. The hamburger was super juicy and the fresh juices and cocktails are delicious. A very comfortable and enjoyable experience on an iconic street in Paris.

Amazing vibe!! The ambiance was chill during lunch, and lit for after hours. David, our bartender was awesome. He greeted and sat us, and gave us a thorough run down of the menu. I went with his suggestions, and I CLEANED my plate. The other staff were great as well.

The server was nice but listening to construction while trying to enjoy a morning cafe was not. Also, the croissant was burnt and old.

Nice ambiance inside, and nestled on a prime rue for some morning people-watching with your café creme. The staff is very friendly too.

The cocktails are very fun, and they even have a few beers here if that's your thing. The servers speak fluent English, and it is popular with foreigners, but it's not a tourist trap by any means.

So the little red door has a cute red door but the bouncer lets you in through another door (novelty observed haha). The man takes your jacket and umbrella (what a gentleman!) and sat us on the second floor. While the space between the couch and the seats were rather small, we were able to manage. I got the permaculture and resilience. The resilience is a club favorite and my favorite too! The way the sorghum, pineapple sage (syrup), pasquet cognac, and savanna rum all tied together was a blessing. I was going to get a third but I was tipsy by my second drink. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!

Unassuming, this cocktail spot in the 7th is a perfect start to a fun evening. My prescription began with an old fashioned coup tailored with "The One." Citrus vodka based classic. It was very good! The champagne foam on top was a first for me. Made the drink trendy I suppose lol. I hung out downstairs until I got hit on by a cute photographer, I'm engaged, so that's a no! But a good sign for single people. It's an environment that creates open conversations. I guess I wasn't done exploring when I ventured upstairs and sat right in between to groups of friends chatting. To my left what looked to be grad students talking about future career plans. They complimented my dress, very nice of them. And to my right a group of friends discussing the topic of dating men who like "going in the back door". One of the ladies seemed very against it but mentioned, "if he really wants to I will atleast one, but i do not prefer it." The mood is intimate and chic. Overall a great time!

Boyfriend turned on the flashlight on his phone to see the menu, as it is quite dark in the bar, but was asked to turn it off by the obnoxious bartender. She said it was too "aggressive" to use actual light to see the menu. He turned it off, and I used the background light from my phone to make out the drinks on the menu. All of them were very "stylish" and expensive, with a lot of unnecessary ingredients. When a table opened up, we moved to it with our drinks. We decided to just have one cocktail, then bail to go to a friendlier, less complicated place. The waitress for our table had an attitude and was just plain rude. Never going back.
