Would highly recommend this bakery. we asked for a Silence of the Lambs cake for a birthday and the cake far exceeded our expectations!!! The detail was incredible, it even came with a real light that actually turns on!! The recipient was thrilled with the cake decoration and the moist, fresh flavor of the cake itself. So happy we chose this bakery! read more

Have ordered a cake topper, custom caricature cake for a friend's birthday, naughty cupcakes for friends, and have found great cards. This place never disappoints and John is such a great guy! read more

I ordered a cake with a photo on it from them and it was nothing like what we discussed. I'll leave a picture of what I wanted vs what I got. The cake was obscurely expensive for what I received especially considering it was not what was discussed. The photo not being on the cake was a let down and the cake itself was extremely sloppy and appeared rushed. I tried to call the company several times and they never picked up nor called back. I would not recommend! read more

I like the consistency of cake ball, reminds me of a starbucks cake pop. Entryway had a nice display of what they offer and a bunch of cakes in their fridges. Loved the girly vibes and decor. Cashier was nice and boxed up my cupcake for togo. read more

Can't recommend this bakery enough! They do amazing customs. My boyfriend surprised me with a cake for my birthday and spoke highly of the whole experience. They worked with his budget and ideas to bring something amazing to life. I will definitely utilize them in the future!! read more

AMAZING BAKERY! If I could give more stars I absolutely would!!! The artists are so incredibly talented, they are all so creative and unique. I worked with Lexi for all my cakes and she has outstanding customer service, and her cake writing skills are jaw dropping! The actual cakes are very sweet, and moist with such a variety on flavors. Personally my favorite is the almond poppy with cherry filling and cream cheese frosting. It was such a pleasure to work with everyone on the team! I highly recommend stopping in the shop to chat with an artist about your designs ideas. I know I will be going back for all my cake occasions! Thank you so much le' Bake! read more

What can I say? John and his team have knocked it out of the park again! Over the years lé Bake has been my go to. Even though I no longer live in Denver, I'm always inclined to order through them when visiting home for special occasions. Most recently the team at lé Bake did an absolutely killer cake for my niece's sixteenth birthday. Thanks so much for your talent and artistry! read more

I have been getting cakes and cupcakes here for my daughter since her first birthday (she just had her 7th) and they always do an AMAZING job! Not only do they always go above and beyond with the design, but they taste unbelievable!! I always get the highest compliments on their cakes and cupcakes. We have had "something blue" for a bridal shower, "Officially one" for a first birthday, the most adorable Narwals for a unique 6th birthday theme and now sweet puppy faces for her 7th. Thank you Le Bakery!!! Ordering is easy and with minimal design ideas thrown at them, they bring it to life way better than I could ever imagine! read more

Super disappointing. Called and also sent in a picture of a cake and what I wanted. I should have been more clear in what I wanted because what was given to me for $50 was incredibly underwhelming. They ended up printing pictures of the the icons I wanted, putting them on popsicle sticks and putting them on a cake with some bad lettering. I feel like Safeway could have done this. Plus it was brown frosting. Not what a kids first birthday cake should be. The cake was edible. The owner seems very unhappy that someone didn't like his cake :) see below. read more

Do you want a cake out of this world? Do you have a vision of a cake , but doubt you can find a bakery to make it? Look no further. The only negative about this bakery is they are not ordinary. When i go to this bakery , i love to browse. When other orders are waiting for pick up and I am always in awe by the designs and creativity. The staff aren't bakers ,to me they are artists. Nothing is off limits! They are always professionals and not judgemental. In short, the cakes they make are a hit for any occasion and are memorable. Your guests will be awe. The cakes look and taste good. I always get compliments when I serve a cake from here. The cakes are made in a timely manner and are always ready for the scheduled pick up. I don't know that I've had better customer service in my life. The webpage said open 24 hours so I call at 5 AM. James answered the phone and had a cake designed to my specification and walked me through the contract and payment process in less than 15 minutes. The cake was delivered to the Buckhorn Exchange and I didn't see it until the server set it on the table. The cake was perfect and was enjoyed by all. I would recommend them in a minute and have! I love it here! A few years ago I got my best friend her Bachelorette cake for a fun night in Blackhawk. Le Sensual came through and the cake was amazing! Tonight I went in to request a farewell cake for a going away party. Just a general idea in my head for the cake and they were able to really go above and beyond with my idea (an update will be made with a picture of the cake when I pick it up in a few weeks). I love all the options for the flavor of cake, filling and icing types! Walking in, the bakery is small but you get struck with this amazing smell . The staff are so friendly and are happy to assist in bringing your ideas to creation. There is a display case before the register that has cookies and cupcakes for sale that day. And a nice refrigerated display case along the back wall with cakes that have been made for customers for pick up. If you are looking for a fantastic bakery that is worth the $$$ don't look past Le Sensual! read more

Yesterday I had a birthday party with the most amazing wizard of oz cake!!!! Loved it. Usually designer cakes taste terrible. Fun, cute, and friendly. I liked their wall of funny, sexually themed party favors and the genital cakes. The staff is very friendly and shared stories of the different custom cakes they've made. They also shared a collection of newspaper articles the bakery has been featured in over the years. It's been a quirky staple to Denver for decades. I got a cinnamon roll and it was warm, fluffy, and very tasty. Great place. read more

NOT ONLY, did they put up with several emails from me in order to order the cake(as I've never been there, heard about them through grapevine, and live in another state),BUT!!!! And let me tell you the BUT!!!! They designed it perfectly, the characters *actually looked like us*, the detailing was phenomenal AND.. OMG THE CAKE!! The cake was unbelievable!!! Truthfully, I expected a "designer" cake, but I really didn't expect a GREAT cake underneath... Was I WRONG or what?? The cake.. the filling... the frosting.. (and mind you I hate buttercream but went with it for this special occasion) Holy coconut cream Batman!! If you need a designer cake.. THIS IS THE PLACE!!! It's worth every penny!!! read more

Beautiful cake with great flavors! A real solid hit. Looked like it came out of a TV show!!! Absolutely would recommend

I give mad props to any place that does an equally bang up job creating naughty triple-X rated cakes as well as ones for a kid's birthday party. These guys can pull off just about anything but they made their name with creations featuring butts, boobs, vajayjays and phalluses with or without accompanying bodily fluids. Have stopped in multiple times to satiate my sweet tooth as they offer a small selection of tasty "normal" cupcakes and cookies on a daily basis that won't make your Grandma blush. As of my last visit they don't offer gluten free or vegan options on ready made or custom orders. read more

Such a bummer!!! We ordered our sons birthday cupcakes and requested a sports theme. We explained what sports he liked and they told us it was no problem and we could pick them up the following weekend. Upon pickup we were handed over cupcakes with popsicle sticks and taped on print outs of balls. Straight off the printer. When I called and explained that we had ordered from them several times before and expected icing art we were told that they were super busy and we would have needed to pay more. I explained that none of this was presented to us for discussion upon ordering the cupcakes. Definitely not worth the money spent. I could have DIY'd it better myself! read more

This is an amazing bakery. The cake tasted as good as it looked! Beautifully crafted! So conscientious and creative.

Need a NSFW cake with tennis balls for your wife's bday to attempt to match the NSFW baseball cake you got for your own bday? Did this actually happen? Le sigh. JK, it was awesome. Le Sensual makes super creative and delicious (like wow) cakes, and they aren't all x-rated (but those ARE hilarious). Available flavor profiles depend on the day of the week, but I strongly recommend the confetti cake if they are offering it. If you want a person/character on the cake, make sure to call at least a week ahead of time to allow for design and prep time. I can't post a picture of my most recent purchase from Le Sensual as it is NSFW, but I can assure you that it was amazing. :-) read more

Excellent customer service and very affordable. Will definitely come here again for any cake occasion.

I had a custom Twin Peaks birthday cake made from the amazing team at Le Bakery Sensual. John and his crew exceeded expectations for me as a first time customer long time admirer of their awesome cakes that are famous in Denver, CO & beyond. John was very helpful and patient as we were coming up with a final idea for the cake and went over details every step of the way. The recipient of the cake said this was by far the most memorable cake he's had. And for flavor the cake was a great red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. As Dale Cooper would have announced if he had tasted seen & tasted this cake, This was a damn fine birthday cake. read more

Requested a custom made bachelorette cake from them about 2months or so ahead of time, they offer delivery to the location, so that was perfect since I'm not from the area and didn't rent a car. The delivery guy was a bit early (glad I was home). But it was perfect in every way! The cake looked so realistic, all the bridesmaids were impressed, not only was the cake amazing looking, it also was unbelievably yummy as well. Ordered the strawberry creme filling and buttercream on top, it was so good! I'd post a couple pics but since it was in the shape of something inappropriate I don't think I'm able to. read more

Amazing staff that produced an amazing first birthday cake for our daughter. Went in about three weeks prior to the birthday party to see if we could find a cake that my daughter would love. We were enthusiastically greeted by John who asked what we were looking for. We had an idea of a theme but no idea what we wanted to do. John sat us down and asked a few basic questions and we threw out some ideas. Together we came up with an idea we all loved. Fast forward to the day of the party, I went in to pick up the cake and was again enthusiasticly greeted by John. He presented the cake and I was floored. The cake was beautiful, Debbie had done an amazing job. The cake was truly a work of art. The cake was a Rainbow Dash themed cake. Two tier, confetti cake with a layer of Bavarian cream on the top tier and a layer of raspberry cream on the bottom tier. The cake was moist, and the frosting not overly sweet. We had rave reviews and everyone was asking where we had the cake made. John even included a smash cake for my little one. What more can I say. Lé Bakery Sensual is an amazing shop with an amazing group of talented artists and bakers. Their cakes speak for themselves. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job and helping us make my daughter's first birthday a memorable one!!! read more

I could not recommend this bakery any more, everything single thing about my experience was excellent. First, i live in Seattle and was planning an 80th birthday party for my mom who lives in Denver. The bakery helped me figure out what kind of design I wanted, they responded quickly and professionally each time. I just gave them a google search link of an idea I had and they executed it way beyond my expectations! Every single person at the party was blown away. Only Marc Chagall could have done it better. And...the cake was delicious! We ordered the spice cake with a buttercream frosting and it was so tasty, moist, and light! I cant thank you enough. Well I've been getting cakes from this place since my oldest daughter was 2 she is 10 now. I must say the quality of work on their cakes started out great. I picked up a father's day cake today and it was not really what I asked for. The design was more of a bootleg of what I asked them to do. They did a very poor job for the price I paid for this cake. I will not be back because this is probably the 3rd order they have messed up of mine. They did not discuss with me that paper hundreds would be the ones used and pasted to the side of the cake. I paid $135 for this cake. Only reason I still paid was because I didn't have the picture on me that I sent them. Not to mention there was a cake right next to mine almost the same with hundred dollar bills all over it in fondant and blunts it was beautiful! Not sure if the person that did mine was new or what happened, I was a bit surprised. read more

If you haven't been here you need to go. But don't bring your mom unless she is good humored! ;) Nicely nestled in cap hill, there is a place that makes your wildest fantasies come true.... at least in the form of a cake! These cakes are perfect for bachelor/ bachelorette parties! Everything scandalous and seductive just waiting for you take a bite. Rather than fill my review with a bunch of bleeps and st*ars I will just say, everything owes this place a visit. Have fun with your next party and go for something funny. They also have choices that are not so scandalous at all... but that is half the fun of coming here. Not to mention the staff is super nice and always willing to work on something for you. "The Sexiest Bakery in Town" What a unique idea, or so I thought but maybe I was alone in thinking this. Seems as though everyone knows there is no cake like an erotic cake. Erotic and sensual. So, then, Le Bakery Sensual has it made completely for you on those "special" occasions calling for a phallic cake or naughty chocolate. ("A lot of people have had exciting cakes before, but have you ever had an excited cake?") Le Bakery Sensual is especially pertinent to bachelor/bachelorette parties, but really, what occasion does not call for an erotic dessert? read more
