If you care about your car, AVOID! I took my Tesla Model 3 back to Kyler after the paint protection film he applied less than a year ago started bubbling and peeling off the front bumper. Instead of doing it the right way and replacing the entire film, they did a hack job by cutting and patching a small piece that replaced just the problem area. There is visible bubbling on the new film and new, obvious seams and cut marks where the patch was made. Unacceptable. If that wasn't bad enough already, I had also agreed to Kyler's recommendation of doing a level 2 ceramic rejuvenation and that wasn't performed correctly either! When I arrived to pick up the car the bug splats on the hood from when I dropped the car off were still there, making it pretty obvious that little attention was paid to cleaning the car and that no ceramic restoration was done. The hairline scratches and swirls in the paint that I was told would be removed by the detail were also still present. Yet they still tried to charge me $459! Kyler was unreachable when I went to pick up the car and he ignored my texts and phone calls when I tried to amicably reach out and work with him to figure out next steps to make this right. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen and I want to give Kyler the benefit of the doubt, but given that it has been days and he has ignored my reach outs to work with him to resolve this, I get the impression that Kyler doesn't care about his customers nor stand behind his work. Major communication issues have also been present both times I've taken my car to Kyler. The first time I had paint protection film applied I was told the car would be ready by 3:30 PM and after arriving at that time I had to wait an additional 1.5 hrs until 5 PM because they were running behind. I received no heads up about this, which is frustrating after taking a $50 / 40 minute Uber to pick up the car. This past week when I went to pick up the car after the film repair, the same thing happened! I even told Kyler that I have to arrange transportation to get the car so I would appreciate good communication. On Tuesday I was told the car would be done by Friday morning; on the morning of Friday I reached out and was told that car would be done by 12-12:30 (that's not morning, but fine). When I showed up at 12:30 I had to wait another 30 minutes because the car was still not done, had bugs spats on it, and they were rushing to make it look presentable. Again, there was no proactive communication or heads up regarding the delay from Kyler. The consistency of this behavior leads me to believe that this is a common occurrence, so be aware. read more

Charged me $400 to wash and wax the exterior of my vehicle. Not one single scratch was buffed out as they gladly stated they would be able to do. Said they would detail the car for $300 but when I picked it up said it would be $400 after explaining that none of the scratches could be buffed out. Why not call me and say we thought we could but we couldn't and by the way it's gonna cost more by the time we're done. Upon purchase of my new 2018 Tesla Model S, I was referred to Kyler's Auto Detailing for XPEL paint protection film (PPF) and Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra ceramic coating work. What a mistake! Initially, Kyler appeared to be trustworthy and honest regarding the products, pricing and timing of the work to be performed. Kyler Auto Detailing outsourced the XPEL film work to Imperial Auto Salon. Once completed, Kyler came in to finish the job with the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra application. Initially, the car looked great as it was straight from the Tesla factory, directly into PPF & ceramic coating. I received the work order & receipt from Imperial for the XPEL PPF work promptly, but for whatever reason, I could not seem to get the receipt and warranty guarantee number for the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra application, which must be performed by an authorized Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra installer for the 9-year Ultra product warranty to be valid & activated. Kyler indicated that he was an authorized Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra installer. After requesting the Gtechniq paperwork from Kyler via multiple texts, phone calls and emails over a period of several months ("it's on the way, will send next week, what's your address again, let me check on it", etc.) he grudgingly sent a handwritten envelope overstuffed with Gtechniq marketing brochures and a blank Gtechniq guarantee card, which must be filled out/completed by the authorized Gtechniq installer. My Tesla required some body work in 2019 and I once again leveraged Kyler's Auto Detailing for re-application of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra. The work appeared complete, but again no Gtechniq guarantee number was provided by Kyler Martin. (2) applications of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra applied in 2018 and 2019 = ZERO Gtechniq guarantee/warranty number(s). Fast-forward to April 2021. I relocated from the Seattle area to the East coast and had noticed a significant drop-off in the shine and hydrophobic properties of the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra, so I found an East coast Gtechniq authorized shop to investigate the cause and whether possible activation of the Gtechniq warranty clause was appropriate. I watched as the shop owner went online to check the Gtechniq database for my vehicle or Gtechniq guarantee number. I also watched him check the database for all Gtechniq authorized installers in WA and surprisingly, Kyler's Auto Detailing was not in the list of Gtechniq installers (please note what it says on his website regarding the products he carries - Kylers Auto Detail (About Us). To address any warranty concerns, an authorized Gtechniq installer must be able to confirm that the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra product was actually installed properly by another authorized installer (Kyler Martin). The East coast Gtechniq shop then offered to detail my car's exterior to assess and troubleshoot whether Crystal Serum Ultra had been applied and found that after less than two years from Kyler's last Ultra ceramic coat application (2019) that either the product had been installed improperly or that Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra had never been applied. I was able to reach Kyler via phone while actually in the East coast Gtechniq shop to explain the issue and he shared that he no longer is an authorized Gtechniq installer which is why he was not in the Gtechniq database (again despite what it says on his website - Kylers Auto Detail ). When he was asked again to provide my guarantee number so that I could drive the warranty discussion with the East coast Gtechniq shop, Kyler once again promised to contact his rep at Gtechniq and provide my guarantee number shortly. Nothing provided by Kyler or his new shop manager (?) Brooks. As Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra is a known quality product, the only conclusion that I can come to is that either the Crystal Serum Ultra product was applied improperly, or it was never applied at all (the opinion of the East coast Gtechniq shop is that Kyler's Auto Detailing may have instead, used/applied the Shine Supply products that he actively promotes on his website rather than the pricey Gtechniq serum - "bait & switch"). Initially, I was prepared and had every intention of pursuing this issue as a product failure rather than an installation failure. I had planned to pursue my issue with Gtechniq rather than with Kyler's Auto Detailing. I probably would not have ever suspected that a failure to apply the ceramic coating (or application of a cheaper substitute) was even a consideration. However, because of the delays and apprehension over time by Kyler's Auto Detailing around providing the Gtechniq Ultra guarantee/warranty number (still no guarantee # provided in 3 years since the initial application), it now appears obvious that the product I paid for, was never applied by Kyler's Auto Detailing. Cannot get a warranty from Gtechniq for a product you never used... I have advised my friends and Microsoft co-workers to avoid Kyler's. read more

I stumbled upon his company while using instagram a year and a half ago and haven't gone anywhere since. He takes pride is his work and helps the local community and people needing work. And to the bad reviews whom say he paid for reviews, if you look at the bad reviews, 80% of them have no profile picture, and 1 review each. It looks like there are quite a few others that have had very similar experiences w/ Kyler. I'm seriously wondering if the high star reviews are bought or from his buddies. First of all, let me say that I was ok with the work done on my vehicle. The reason for 2 stars is the owner (although is a nice guy) is VERY unprofessional. Showed up over 2 hours late with only a text message saying he'd be there as soon as possible. I was about to just say forget it when my doorbell rang. No apology or "let me make it up to you by taking $xx.xx off your total", nothing. I decided to give it a chance anyways. Later that day when my car was supposed to be ready to be picked up, I received a text saying he was way too busy and that my car wouldn't be done until the next day!! Thankfully I didn't need the car that evening. The next morning (he said he'd drop it off around 10am) I didn't hear from him till about 10:45 saying that he would have it to me by noon. SERIOUSLY?! How hard is it to keep a schedule! I felt very unimportant, like his other clients were a higher priority than me. Call me crazy but this is NOT how you want your customers to feel. When he finally showed up at 1:00pm with my car, he was friendly and just a little bit apologetic, but not enough to make me feel any better. Very disappointing. Once he left, I did a more thorough look through my vehicle and noticed TWO items missing from inside my car. I texted Kyler (since this seems to be his preferred way of communication) and informed him about my missing items. He said he would look at his shop and get back to me. He never did. I had to contact him 2 days later to inquire again about the missing items. He gave quite a few false promises about getting them back to me and delivering them to my house. Never happened. I drove by there and got one of the supposed items, and it wasn't even the right item! At this point, I just gave up. I honestly think that's what he wants. He'll put you off over and over again until you just give up. Is there some internal theft going on? Maybe, maybe not. I am shocked by the lack of professionalism. Just because you have fancy t-shirts w/ your logo doesn't mean you're a professional company. It's all about taking care of the customers!!! I am constantly getting my multiple cars detailed and I will never take my business back here. Maybe when he grows up a bit and takes better care of his clients. As a returning customer of KAD's, I couldn't be happier with the services I've received. I've always been able to reach Kyler whenever needed via phone. I've referred to the website for pricing, contact information and shop location, easy to use and has the information I need. I purchased a brand new Honda in December of 2012 and as of today my car still looks brand new inside and out. Not to mention the AMAZING tint job I also received via KAD. I drive over 45 minutes to take my vehicle to KAD, which is conveniently located in a private area and has the privacy you don't receive leaving your car in a parking lot. I've left many personal items in my car while being detailed and have never had issues with things coming up missing or misplaced. Not only was this a great place to get my car cleaned, its a great environment all around. The shop & house is beautiful, there is a waiting room with a TV, beverages, clothing, and tons of goodies! On top of all that, Kyler is really personable and even let me personally use his vehicle as a rental when others weren't available. I am VERY picky about my car.. and this is the only detail shop that gets both my business and my highest recommendation. 5 star service every time! read more

We tried to support a local small business and I would not recommend Kyler's due to difficulty in scheduling, late finishing and incomplete detail in addition to overcharging for the service. As a gift, our daughter purchased 2 detail packages from Kyler's (she wanted to support a local small business) and she paid over the phone via credit card and was told the cards were in their system for us to use. I let Kyler's know each time I called, emailed or texted to schedule - that we had a gift card on file. Reaching them via phone or their online form is a challenge but I eventually got the appointment via text. I was the first one there early morning dropping off my car. Was told the car would be done early afternoon & they would text me when ready. No text received, so I called (no answer) and also texted. The text back said to arrive at 4pm. I arrive and my car's exterior had not been cleaned yet. I wait and eventually they start the exterior; it's November so it's dark (yes they missed a few spots). Then 'finding' the gift card was a challenge and they said I owed another $140 for the detail and 'extra stuff' they did. He made some calls and said he tried searching but couldn't find the gift card in the system, didn't know the amount it was for (but I owed an additional $140?). It was dark, cold and taking a long time and so then he said I didn't have to pay the extra right now and I should speak with the owner to get it sorted out. I emailed, called and left voicemails but didn't receive an answer. I kept calling and eventually got through to Kyler. He said he would look up the gift cards and let me know how much was left for the second car and email me a receipt (nope, didn't receive it). I tried reaching out again via email, text and phone but never received a response and I gave up. We are due the 2nd detail from Kyler's which my daughter paid for in advance - but it's truly not worth the hassle of dealing with them. FYI: the exterior cleaning had some misses but the interior cleaning was thorough and excellent. read more

Kyler was very professional,thorough, extremely knowledgeable and worked directly with my insurance rep with no hesitation.
