Pretty to look at
Denise B.

I gave Kyle Nails another try. Once again, the pedicure was very nicely done would recommend, 5 stars. The nails are pretty to look at if you do not get close. This is not the place I would be looking for my regular set of nails. I observed others that seemed to get very pretty nail sets, it is possible to get what you may be looking for. I felt very uncomfortable, and did not feel that that it was understood what I wanted, an example satin finish versus glossy. Or the shape of the nail. Having said that I do realize it is the holidays. It is busy.

Thank you Vickie for getting me back in the game. Y'all, my toes (claws) were horrible and that's so not like me! This pedicure was WAAAaY overdue!! When I arrived on a late Saturday afternoon, I was immediately helped. No wait. The atmosphere in the shop is relaxing, nice massage chairs, complimentary wine (red or white) and water available.......Not the best wine BUT a nice touch, right?! Vickie did a good job in bringing my toes back to life because they were dead! Prices are reasonable and my service didn't take long at all and staff really nice. I do feel like Vickie took her time and didn't rush me out the door- Noted! As I mentioned, this shop has only been operating for 9 months and seem to be doing well. This may be my new go to nail shop in the area! Definitely satisfied with the end result. Located right off of Chalkville Mountain Road and easy to find.

Went here today to get my nails done the guy was nice but he jacked up my nails they're bumpy and there's gaps and as he was cutting my cuticle he ended up making me bleed and proceeded to put acetone on it they do offer water but I personally will NOT be going back, I will say there are some sweet people there and the pedicure was nice

Manager was very rude when I told her I did not like my nails and she push me out the door and said they were to busy to fix it.

The waiting area is really cute, with white and blue decor. It makes you feel as if you've stepped inside a really chic salon. The waxing rooms were nice and clean and my waxer was friendly and sweet. The actual experience wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting! It is in fact, considerably less painful than traditional hot waxing and the results were just as good. They also offer different membership packages, making it easy to keep treating yourself apriority.

On the day of my appointment, the staff made me feel at ease. They carefully explained the membership options and I wanted to first get through my appointment to see if I would like it. My appointment was with Elizabeth. I really enjoyed her and I feel like she explained the process really well and answered my questions. I told her my prior waxing horror stories and she made me feel really comfortable. She was very gentle and my waxing was really quick. I get the LA Brazilian and Liz is always very attentive. I ended up getting a membership and adding services. I am usually out of my appointment in about 15 minutes. The sugaring is far less painful and I do not have any bumps. I never have a long wait and they are also taking proper precautions with COVID-19. They check your temperature and you cannot sit in the lobby. You also have to wear a mask. I highly recommend visiting this location, as they are very friendly and provide stellar service.

Are you wondering why I gave one star? Honestly, Wheelhouse Salon deserves none, but that wasn't an…read moreoption. My experience here was extremely disappointing, aside from my initial consultation with Angelika on Oct. 20th. During the consult, I explained that my main goal was to blend my 3-month gray grow-out into something easier to maintain. I showed her photos of the soft gray-blended look I wanted, and she never once said it couldn't be achieved in one session. She filled out a laminated service card with the exact services and prices required, and I booked based on that information. On Oct. 28th, I arrived for the first color appointment. After reviewing the same photos again, Angelika brought over another stylist, and they decided to add a shadow root. When she finished, my hair looked nothing like what I asked for--I left with blue roots and barely any blonde. She apologized and said she'd fix it at my next scheduled appointment on Nov. 12, which included both the correction and a keratin treatment. Since she promised it would all be handled then, I trusted her. When checking out that day, I was charged $393.32--lower than the quote--but still tipped 20% because she said she planned to fix everything. My total came to $471.98. On Nov. 12th, I showed up expecting the correction and the keratin, as previously discussed. Instead, I was told I had to choose one service because she hadn't booked enough time. I chose the keratin since that's what she had scheduled. Afterward, while checking out, the front desk tried charging me $476 instead of the quoted $315, saying I "hadn't paid enough" at the first visit and they needed to collect an additional $40. This was never communicated. They removed one $40 error, but I still ended up paying $456.54. After realizing that I had now spent over $900 and still didn't have anything close to the color I asked for, I messaged Angelika directly through the contact card she provided. She read the message but never replied. When I called the salon to review the charges, another error was found and I was refunded $48.29--even though their written policies state they "don't offer refunds." It was clear I had been overcharged multiple times. I reached out again to clarify my Dec. 1 correction appointment. The salon later texted me saying Angelika felt she only owed me a base color and blow-dry, and that I would have to pay for the foil and toner--another $274. This would have pushed the total cost of this disaster to well over $1,200. They also claimed that my desired gray-blended look takes multiple sessions, something never mentioned in the consult or at any point before taking my money. Angelika had expressed total confidence that she could achieve the look. At this point, nothing made sense. How can stylists turn dark brown hair into pink, purple, or blue in a single appointment, yet somehow blending soft gray tones supposedly requires multiple expensive sessions? Either they lack the skill or they are price-gouging. I'm sharing this to save others from the time, money, and frustration I experienced. Always take a photo of the laminated service card--they rely on it, and you should too. My before photo, the inspiration photos I provided, and the results I left with were not remotely aligned. My 3-month gray grow-out is gone, and I paid nearly a thousand dollars for a result I never asked for.
