Very smart and kind people, I loved just getting to yap with them all session long. They are gentle and using the Aveda products really strive to heal any damage that processing may cause. Not many hairstylists put your hair health first like they do.

About 6 months ago I discovered hair systems for men so I booked an appointment with Tory. I've finally found the solution! The owners/staff are all so friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. And it being a small family business was icing on the cake. During my first appointment Tory helped me find the right color and type of hair system and gave me all the ins and outs of the process. About a week later I came back in for the install and cut/styling. It's an amazing feeling walking in bald and walking out with an amazing head of hair! Six months later my system is still going strong and looking good. Overall I'm so happy with Designer Headliner and can't recommend them enough. It truly is a life changing experience. If you're on the fence about getting a hair system don't be! Go see Tory and the crew about getting one, you won't regret it!

I'm extremely disappointed with how Ulta handled my entire experience. I came in blonde and left…read morewith my hair turned dark brown because the stylist admitted she used the wrong toner on dry hair. She told me herself it was her mistake. What makes this even worse is that during my appointment, she spent a ton of time showing me pictures of hair she had to fix from the Dana Ulta -- bragging about how she was the one who "fixes everyone else's messes." I trusted her because of that. And then my hair became the next mess. When I saw how dark my hair turned and started crying, the stylist literally ran out of the salon in tears, didn't say goodbye, didn't explain anything, and left me there alone with hair I never asked for. Ulta originally told me they would fix it at no charge because they knew it was their error. Now, they're calling me saying they won't help me or honor their guarantee because I didn't pay for the original service they messed up. So basically their message is: "We won't fix the mistake unless you pay us for the mistake first." They also told me the color would "wash out after 20 washes." I went on my trip, washed my hair way more than 20 times, and it's STILL brown. That was not true. And now here I am, right before Thanksgiving, still dealing with the wrong color and no help from Ulta -- even though they admitted their stylist caused it. I've been a loyal Ulta customer for years, but after how unprofessionally this was handled from start to finish, I won't be trusting their salon services again. If you're considering getting your hair done here, please be careful. They do not stand behind their work, and you might end up paying for their mistakes.

Often times, their wait times were unpredictable, or they had too high of prices, or their quality wasn't good, or a combination of these. The people are friendly, the price is fine, and there are sports games to watch in the waiting room. Not a bad deal at all! For those new to Redding, or looking for a new place to get a haircut, I'd definitely recommend them. They've been great for me, and my son as well!

She took the time to create a color that felt customized to me rather than just giving me a standard all-over color. My hair has so much dimension and movement, and the finished color is gorgeous. Some parts of my hair are curly, some parts are straight and all of my hair gets frizzy. This is a historic problem when I get hair cuts because the curly parts shrink up compared to the straight areas. BUT not at Curly Creations!!! Amy fixed me up!!!!!! I don't know how she did it, but Amy worked with me and my hair so I left with a wonderful cut that doesn't have any unevenness. This is amazing. It looks great even 2 weeks later. I am so impressed. Just thrilled! I am so thrilled about getting a great cut but I also have to mention the entire experience was wonderful. The salon is lovely. Amy is an absolute professional. By the time I left the salon, I was relaxed. I have already made my next appointment.
