Aside from getting great usual cuts and deep conditionings for my long hair, I've also had my hair styled for proms and dances here and it always turned out great. My sister had all her bridesmaids and her hair done here as well and the styling was fantastic. Her stylist who is now a family friend was at the wedding to fix anything that became even slightly out of place. In all the years I've been having my hair cut and styled here I feel like the price never goes up. 25.00 for my cut, wash, deep conditioning, and to straighten my very long hair. My "independent contractor" no longer works there and I had an upcoming appointment. Had my "independent contractor" not messaged me to tell me she moved, I would have never known. While sitting in my "independent contractor's" chair I received a phone call that I was missing my hair appointment with an "unknown stylist" at California Hair, who was extremely unfriendly! Apparently, this business tries to steal clients! I was shocked that they just rolled me over to the new girl and gave out my personal phone number without my permission. I have never booked any of my appointment with this business I have always booked my appointments with my independent contractor. This, to me, is shady and very unprofessional! I will also add that while this is a "family friendly" business sometimes the owners child just runs around hitting other clients with brooms and whatever. I don't necessarily mind the kids playing there, I try look past that because it is a family friendly business, however, the rudeness and unprofessionalism is not acceptable! I posted this same review on another site and was asked by the owner to edited it. So I will edit here as well. I never received any type of notification that my stylist no longer worked there and obviously they had my phone number. The owner had several weeks to follow through. I never was asked if I would like to stay at this business and have a new stylist. I never authorized any appointment or a new stylist. What the business owner did was wrong! She 100% changed my stylist in the books without discussing it with me first. I have had my stylist for years and I made it to my schedule appointment on time, just not at her business. Not only did the "new stylist" have the audacity to say I would not be charged for being a "no show" but so did the business owner in her reply to my review. I definitely was NOT a "No Show" to an appointment I didn't have! Very unprofessional and shady!!!

My bangs have been quite unruly and in need of some discipline. I finally couldn't stand it anymore and finally called Kaitlyn at Beaux Cheveux. She was able to get me in the same day (during my lunch hour no less) and did a fantastic job. I have been to three different girls in the last year to try and get my bangs just right, and Kaitlyn fixed all the craziness the other girls created in a couple deft clips. She even cut my hair dry, so I didn't have to go back to hair with wet hair; no easy task. I can't wait to go back and let her do my color!!
