Had the worst hair cut in my life. Went there just to trim couple inches off of my long straight hair. I picked the place because they take walk in and I really didnt need much styling. The woman who cut my hair was rough with her brush. I had to hold on to my necklace because she was brushing through my necklace every single time, I thought she was either going to break my necklace or choke me in the process. She wanted to use a clipper on my long hair, and I declined. The final result which I couldn't see till I got home was as of a dog chewed through my hair. My husband said it's not even, the end is not layered as I requested, and it's not leveled. There is an inch and half difference. Now I am furious. read more

I called to get my son's hair cut about 1.5 hours before closing to be sure they had availability, when I made the 15 mile drive to get there they said that their online reservations had booked them out. So a phone call apparently means nothing to them, and there was no mention of an online portal to register for a haircut. -10 of 5. Will never even attempt to use this location or service again. read more

Amanda the manager here is great. She handles my rambunctious son well. They always do a good job here. We get a good and consistent outcome each time no matter who we have. I was going to Quick Cuts but choppy uneven cuts with my kids multiple times has me willing to pay a few bucks more for great service. This mask thing is rediculous! The lady came outside and stopped me and another customer from entering. Helped the other customer and left me standing there. So I went in & put myself on the list. Wow, so impressed! I was a little disappointed at first when I found out that they don't take appointments. Then I found out that you can get the app go online see how long it's going to be and check in online. Kayla, cut and styled my son's hair and did a wonderful job being very detailed oriented about cowlicks, blending the top and sides and giving him the BEST hair cut he had ever had! It grew out beautifully looking good until today when we are back at the shop having another fabulous haircut with Kayla. We were so impressed that my husband even came and had his haircut with Kayla and will be coming back shortly for his again. I love when my boys leave Great clips after having a haircut with Kayla feeling confident and happy with their new hairstyle. read more

Went here because I saw the good ratings. It was also close to where I live. I thought this would be a great place to try out. The prices are great too and the atmosphere wasn't bad. When I went and sat down and explained my haircut, the lady was confused. I thought maybe I was explaining it weird or wrong so I showed a picture and she knew what to do and said "yeah I can do that". Once she began she shaved really high up on my hair which I thought was strange but I didn't question it. She then recommended trimming more of the top and I agreed. She ended up cutting 2-3 inches off the top! I already had short hair. It looked bad but it was short so I wasnt going to complain. It would grow back anyways right? Well after going home and showering, I noticed there was almost no fade (that I asked for) and multiple bald spots. It was much worse than I thought and everyone of my friends and family were laughing at how bad it looked. Now I'm stuck with the worst haircut ive gotten for the next couple of weeks. Not going back. Giving it a 2 star because who knows, maybe the lady I had was new and maybe the others were better. I'm not going to take my chance here anymore. This was the first time we tried Great Clips- we missed our last hair appointment and my son needed a haircut before the start of school. Downloaded the Great Clips app for free, checked in through the app at home, so when we arrived we only had to wait for about 3-4 minutes. Friendly, approachable staff with good hair and fashion. Clean salon with good music. Rachel gave my son a fantastic haircut and it only cost $12! We also received a $3 off coupon for the next cut (expires in October), and the stylist typed notes onto their database for he next stylist to refer to. Very good experience. The only things that could make it better would be better magazines (they had Star and AARP), and refreshments (ice water would be great). read more

My god I just had THE WORST haircut from them. I used to recommend people to them, had my hair cut, but after my boyfriend got not one but TWO absolutely botched haircuts we stopped going. I went since I definitely needed just a small trim to get my dead ends off. I have very long hair so I figured they couldn't possibly mess up a simple, beauty school 101 haircut of a dead ends trim. Not only did they utterly fail to taper my side bangs like I ask several times, but they completely botched my trim. There are ends they didn't even cut, the layer underneath the back of my hair in the back had a section that's at least an inch shorter than the rest of my hair, nothing is straight cut it's all jagged. Only reason I didn't say anything was because I couldn't tell until I got home to brush it out and use a mirror. They say their business is slow because people are afraid to come in because of COIVD but it is 100% because people learned they can do better haircuts at home. Getting my money back and never coming back. Messing up a guys hair is very slightly understandable since it's much more complicated, but messing up a simple dead ends trim? I have had my haircut at least 4 times in the last 10 months and each time was a different hairdresser, but they were all very good.
