I use their on line appointment booking. Because I have difficulty with health issues that I need to be as exact time as possible. From COPD Stage 4 and AVN, which destroys the bones in the hips. Walking is quiet difficult. I arrived 20 minutes ahead of my scheduled and CONFIRMED, time. But was told they reached out to me early am to reschedule for later time. A nice lady told the I could go ahead of her. However, another person after 30 more minutes came in with an appointment. I asked if his had been rescheduled too. No! It was the time he scheduled on line. Adding more wait time for me who was scheduled originally ahead of him. The pain in my hips was increasing in the chairs they have so I had to give up and leave. Whatever the issue on their side is was POORLY HANDLED. I checked my emails and messaging and they DID NOT REACH OUT TO ME AT ALL. Wasted my time, gas and discomfort because they couldn't adhere to their own policies and app. As far as im concerned, since there's also no contact information...to hide from unhappy customers I have to assume managers are illequipped, inept and incapable of doing right by its customers. read more

I won't go here again. The small touches are important. She didn't really cut my hair much even after I want her to blend more. The biggest annoyance of all was she left my hair slick and wet, then she said "can I do anything else for you " I said yes can you dry it???? She said yes I can rough dry it. I've never been somewhere they did actually dry my hair. The cut itself isn't horrible but I didn't love the cut and the way she did the cut wasn't up to my standards of a good cut. There instagram looks great but I guess they don't give everyone the same experience. 2 stars for an ok appointment. I even tipped but just less than I would if she spent her time making sure it looked nice and doing what I wanted. read more

one of my biggest problems with getting my hair cut is that some of your hairstylist want to give me a makeover they refuse to look at my hair that is long and keep it in the same style . I tell them that I don't want a short hair cut they don't listen. I will tell them if they give me short hair cut I will not pay for it. read more

I've cried over my bangs. The lady cut one side shorter than the other and way to short. I showed a lady a picture of how I wanted my hair (an actual picture of me, I'll leave it below) and she did not do that what so ever. I found myself in need of a haircut at the last minute and so it was necessary for me to go to a walk in salon. While this Xpert Hair Cuts is currently understaffed I was not disappointed. There were only 2 stylists working and with the back to school rush to get kids ready for school the shop was pretty busy. I was determined to stay the course so I was able to witness quite a few customer interactions (as well as an interaction with a service provider fixing the front door during all the hustle and bustle). I was particularly impressed with a stylist named Amanda. She never lost her cool or professionalism during all the pressure and showed a high degree of customer service skills I haven't seen much in a while. When my turn came around Amanda was friendly, welcoming and never made me feel like she needed to hurry through my cut to help the ever expanding customers. She was confident, helpful and gave me the closest cut to what I actually asked for that I have ever received. While the shop was clean and pleasant, it was Amanda that gets my 5 stars. read more

Jolene and Holly!!! :) What absolute PROFESSIONALS So very thankful for you!! I moved with my Medical company to Redding from the Bay Area and learned that X-Pert Cuts carries wonderful Moroccan Oil Products! Yesterday, I bought $50 worth of Moroccan Oil Products from Manager, Monica, at the Churn Creek location. Not until I arrived home, did I notice that 1 of the products were the wrong type, so I returned today to exchange it for the correct product. Churn Creek location Monica was absolutely dismissive and refused to exchange or return the product. I kindly asked if there was any way I might be able to ask the Owner. Monica responded, "I'll talk to the Owner and I'll call you back with her answer when I can." I apologized for the inconvenience and asked Monica if I could have a receipt, as Monica did not give me a receipt yesterday. Monica became very agitated and could not produce the receipt. I left my name and number with Monica, felling that I would most likely not hear from Monica or the Owner. So, I looked up X-Pert cuts and learned that they also have a location on Cypress. I called and spoke to the loveliest Manager Holly. Long story short, not only was Cypress location INUNDATED with happy customers, but AMAZING Stylist Jolene took the time to reach out to the Owner, Stormy, with Manager Holly's full support. Jolene professionally and empathetically listened and shared, "I will be your voice" ... and Jolene was. :) X- Pert Cuts took time and care of the issue straight away. What a wonderfully kind experience from a Professional Team! I will continue to buy products from Cypress X-Pert Cuts and invite anyone to visit their lovely atmosphere. You get what you pay for..... This place is just bad! The girl who cut my hair did not listen to anything I asked for. I had to ask her over and over to do it the way I wanted it. I showed her a picture and was told "that's a style not a cut". But you need a cut that will do that style right? She didn't talk to me at all. Ok maybe she was having a bad day? Well leave it at the door. I watched one of the other girls trimmer cut at least 6 mens hair while I was getting mine cut. Then as I was leaving she was coloring a ladies hair and wow!!! She was just smashing the color on her hair. Maybe ill upgrade next time and go to Supercuts!!! The only reason it went was because it was convenient at the time. My bad!!! I'm not usually one to leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I left this salon fairly unhappy today. I've come here in the past and had some good experiences, but I think this will be my last visit. After growing my hair out for the last two years, I finally decided to cut it off for a quasi-pixie cut. Granted, the style is a little difficult to explain, but I've had it before, and was able to have it done right nearly every time in the past with the right instructions and references. The girl with the short red hair seemed annoyed when I told her what I wanted. She essentially shot down my requests and told me it wouldn't work, then proceeded to give me a choppy Karen haircut. Too long in the places I wanted short, too short where I had explicitly asked to keep the length, and chunks missing where I needed volume. Disappointment aside, I was sure to be nice and have patience. I understand that businesses are struggling right now, and they had a long wait list with only two stylists working. I tried to make conversation with her a couple of times, but it fell flat. Eventually she got frustrated and passed me off to the other lady, who was very pleasant and did her best to mitigate the damage. I didn't leave with what I came in for, but I left a 75% tip because I felt awful, like I'd been a nuisance. I was excited when I walked in; I'd been wanting to get this haircut for a couple of months, and finally got the courage today to cut off nearly two feet of hair to surprise my fiance with the same haircut I had when we met three years ago. But the reason I'm writing this review is not because I got a bad haircut. Hair grows back. I'm upset because the girl with the short red hair made me feel like an inconvenience, like I was a problem that she didn't care to deal with. I can understand that sort of behavior with regard to rude customers, but I felt that I was as polite as can be. Maybe my expressions came across the wrong way from behind my mask, or maybe I'm just socially inept. Either way, I just don't appreciate that sort of treatment, and am very much disenchanted with my experience. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the high level of service I received here. I walked in mid-day on a Saturday and waited less than 10 minutes for a haircut. My stylist was friendly, listened closely to my detailed instructions, and most importantly, gave a great haircut. She tactfully made appropriate recommendations and paid attention to every detail. I'm very particular about my haircuts, and it is rare that I don't have to ask for some part to be cleaned-up or blended better. When she was finished, I could find nothing to point out. Took my 1 and 3 year old in without an appointment and we're helped right away. They loved the train table, airplane chair, and movie. They were extremely catered to and the stylists were so nice. Paid more than I regularly do for my kids haircut ($14 each) but my kids were happy and their hair was cut. read more

I have used this business for years. Always quick and acceptable hair cut. This last Sunday I received a poor haircut for the first time .Came back on the next Saturday to get it fixed. They said I was over the three day limit and would have to be charged full retail. They did tell me they let the beautician go for poor work. I believe this to be a poor business decision . They have one less customer and a poor review. read more
