They have a deli, but they hide in back, don't answer the bell, don't do hot meals (chicken, anything hot after 5:30). Best chicken in northern Colorado, but not if you can't get it! Don't stop on your way home for hot stuff (5:45 after work) because they don't have it. Can see not waisting food, last time they dumped two huge baskets of chicken at 5:45 (probable to much) this week nothing at 5:45. Looks like poor product flow management of the department to me!

I've always wanted to visit a Buc-ee's and was so excited when one finally opened in CO! The last…read moretime we were in CO we didn't get a chance to visit, so this time we definitely made a point to. I personally think the hype is real. There's so much food to choose from, and so so so many snacks and souvenirs. There's something for everyone. The place is huuuuge and there are a ton of gas pumps. Everything was affordable and the bathrooms were very clean. I appreciated that there were red and green lights showing which stalls were open and which were occupied. The workers were very efficient in their tasks, be it cutting fresh brisket, replenishing food items, or cleaning the store. My husband grabbed a brisket sandwich and a key lime pie pudding cup, both of which he said were delicious and again worth the hype. I didn't get anything as I had leftovers from the previous day, but I would have probably grabbed their famous pulled-pork sandwich if I didn't. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the Denver area!

There is a bar inside where you can order and walk around( in designated areas) with your beer or cocktail while you shop. They have a deli/cafe area that you can order from and sit and eat. The prices are great. The store is laid out very well. Produce is arranged nicely and is so colorful. They have a few produce items that most grocery stores in the area don't carry. They also carry quite a few different brands of food that are also not in any of our local grocery stores. They source their meat locally and have a nice variety of meats and seafood. The bakery is nice. Open to watch them work and I think most things are made at this location. It's a fun, different grocery shopping experience. Would be nice to have another Woods location a little further North. Go check them out!

The lady at the self check section refused to sell because of the Norwegian drivers license. Eventually she asked my DOB and let me buy. Hmmm. I then asked a manager. He said 'it is a Colo State law'. Well, I looked it up. Here's the relevant excerpt from the relevant statute, mostly concerned with proof of age for purchases: 2025 COLORADO LIQUOR RULES DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division 1 CCR 2023-2, Regulation 47-912. Identification. 1. Producing adequate identification of age, including any verified digital identification, that is valid and unexpired. Identification of age is adequate if it contains a picture and date of birth and is one of the following: a. This review is for the pharmacy…read more I picked up a prescription yesterday. There's a note in my file about needing a certain generic for this drug because I don't react well to others. I had no reason not to trust that they gave me the right thing but when I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong generic and that this particular generic is one I've had a very bad reaction to (likely it's an additive since generics can vary the additives but not the main ingredients). The pharmacy was closed by the time I got home so I called this morning. I was told they won't take back the unopened package (it comes prepackaged, it's not something they manually count) and I'd have to get a new fill from my provider, which isn't going to happen because I get this medication from an online provider. And I'll have to eat the cost since I pay cash due to my insurance not covering the drug. I also do not have any for my dose tonight. I've been trying literally all day to get them to see reason. I was told by the pharmacy manager that it was on me since I didn't verify that the medication was right. How, exactly, am I supposed to do that when they immediately put it in a paper bag as fast as they can, and won't let you see or handle it, until you pay. I was told since I paid for it they won't do anything about it. The system is rigged to allow them to make mistakes and not fix them. It's disgusting and predatory that they won't do anything to fix it. Go anywhere else for your Rx needs. I'm going to be switching all of my family's medications somewhere else and tell every single person I know to do the same.

So I said , why don't I buy by peice then or if I'm only allowed to buy four, I'll buy another box of four. She said no, I have to go out of the store or have somebody else come buy a four piece. Lol But when I would go to Woods, I can get how many pieces or whatever cut of chicken I want, which is actually cheaper, but this market is only two minutes away from me. Now that you have competition Hays market. I would certainly suggest not to be so uptight selling your fried chicken since I was not asking it for free. I was even willing to pay by piece.

But, I was asked twice by employees if I needed help find something. Nice young people, as well as mid-aged. Couldn't find the jam- weird place. I forgot to buy ice after checking out & the bagging (young gentleman) got my ice & helped me to pay for it on self check out. When I went back to my car I told my husband that they were the nicest employees in any grocery store I have ever shopped. That night I was looking for my purse & realized I lost all my cash for our trip here. My husband called Safeway & a very nice man named Dave said a customer found it in the parking lot & turned it in to one of the employees. Oh! What a relief!
