Updating my review after an awkward encounter with the shop manager at Kwik Kar Willow Bend. I had the lifters in my Jeep motor replaced, which ended up costing me over a grand. I'm not complaining about the bill but rather the way the shop manager responded to me when I asked if he could talk me through the work that was done. He got defensive when I wanted to understand the work that went into the repair. I think it's more than fair to have someone talk me through the bill when I've come to this shop on numerous occasions for a variety of expensive work.

Waiting room with very comfortable arm chairs!

Today I got my car inspected here. 3rd year to go here. Nice people, fast service & very clean/comfortable waiting area!! A Sonic is next door too. Appreciate their continued great service. :)

I called to get a price on changing my brake fluid. They were twice the price of anyone else. Went elsewhere. Will never consider again.

Any shop that offers a 10% discount in exchange for a positive review should, in my opinion, be approached with caution. My experience with this shop was far from positive. A truck that had 250,000 miles on it and was showing signs that should have raised some serious questions about a failing head gasket. Instead, I was led through a series of costly repairs that basically treated the symptoms instead of finding the actual problem. Those repairs ultimately failed within a few weeks. They also installed what I believe were cheap aftermarket parts, including the wrong front struts. When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking responsibility and replacing them, they wanted to charge me to install a lift on the rear of the truck to compensate for the front end sitting higher than the rear. WTF? Another big concern was the price and quality of the parts. When I asked about the brand of the parts they were installing, which seemed they were hesitant to reveal, I was surprised to find what appeared to be nearly a 100% markup compared with retail prices. Their invoices also don't identify the brand or manufacturer of the parts, so you really don't know what you're paying for. In my experience, the parts were marked up an unreasonable amount, especially considering the quality. Looking back, I feel like the focus was more on getting me to authorize additional repairs rather than properly figuring out what was actually wrong with the truck, knowing Id probably just cut my losses if I had been told the truth about the head gasket from the beginning. I originally brought my truck here because I was trying to avoid dealership prices. Unfortunately, when I finally took it to the dealership, that's when I learned what was actually wrong with the truck, which was in fact the head gasket and the wrong struts installed. The dealership also asked me if I had ever used a quick sealant in my engine because of the sludge they found in the radiator overflow, the radiator that auto clinique just replaced. I don't have proof, but definitely raised even more concerns about the shop practices. I was so hopeful that I had found an honest shop, but sadly, I'd have to say they are far from it. And Ray, I'm not interested in you telling me how you offer a year warranty on your parts and repairs. Thank you

I wanted the underlying problem diagnosed and repaired--not just another alignment. Driver's Edge inspected the vehicle and confirmed that both lower control arm bushings were worn, but also recommended a subframe adjustment and alignment. I relied on their professional recommendation and was charged $364, including $205 for subframe labor. After the work was completed, I was informed that the lower control arms still needed replacement. When I later questioned the charges, I was told that the final -1.3° left front camber was within Volkswagen's acceptable specification. I appreciate that explanation, but I still don't understand what measurable benefit the additional $205 subframe adjustment provided, especially since the worn suspension components still required repair afterward. I contacted Sun Auto Customer Care, and they escalated my concern and invited me to bring the vehicle back for another review, which I appreciate. However, I am still looking for a clear technical explanation of why the subframe adjustment was recommended before addressing the worn control arm bushings. The staff was courteous, and I appreciate that they identified the worn control arms. My disappointment is with the recommendation and value of the additional work, not with their professionalism. I hope the company reviews this matter and provides a fair resolution.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received…read more I paid for a full detail at 3:56 PM and didn't leave until 5:22 PM. The only reason I was even able to get my car was because I kept asking if it was finished. While I was waiting, I heard multiple other vehicles being called, but mine never was. I asked the employee at the front several times if my car was done, and every time I was told no. Eventually, I pointed out that my car had been sitting parked away from the cleaning area for quite a while and there was no way it was still being worked on. At that point, I was simply told to go outside and get my keys. When I went outside, the employee handing out keys told me that, "When a car is done, we call it out." I explained that my vehicle had never been called. Unfortunately, the service itself was just as disappointing as the wait. As soon as I got into my car, I immediately noticed crumbs still throughout the interior that could literally be picked up with my finger. There was still dust on multiple surfaces, hair left inside the vehicle, cleaning solution residue all over the center console, and some kind of gunk on the inside driver's door handle that was not there before. Looking in the back seat, I found splash marks that hadn't been cleaned up. Then I walked around the outside of the vehicle and noticed black streaks along the bottom that wiped off just by touching them, which tells me they should have been removed during the wash. The car wasn't even very dirty to begin with. There was nothing inside of it besides a sun visor. I did a quick clean the interior of it myself last weekend. My car had been at a dealership most of the week as well. The most frustrating part is that I genuinely feel like I wasted my money. I paid expecting my car to come back clean, and instead I got it back with crumbs, dust, hair, residue, missed spots, and marks that should have been taken care of. I honestly don't feel like the detailing service was ever fully completed. After waiting nearly an hour and a half, never being told my car was ready, and then getting it back in this condition, I left feeling like I threw my money away. I genuinely regret spending my money here, and if I had known this was the quality of service I was going to receive, I never would have chosen this business in the first place. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Customers should be able to trust that when they spend their hard-earned money on a detailing service, they will actually receive the quality of work they paid for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I came here before in May 2025 and the staff was heartwarming, dedicated to customer service, intellectual and experienced and above all people of character.. I came there today simply because my red light was flashing and I thought my oil might be low although I still had another 1400 miles or so to go on my sticker that jiffy lube had placed there prior. I stepped out of the car and proceeded to walk to the front desk and was intercepted immediately and asked what I wanted and I felt that this was kind of odd since I wanted people to look up my last visit and look at the product that I had previously purchased. I turned the car around so that way they could look at my vehicle on a level plain. And from that point on I was treated with a lack of respect. The gentleman that helped me did not fail to highlight his own ability by telling me how long he had been in the service and how long he had been working at this location. He had suggested an oil change although it was not completely necessary that I get one right then and there. But I followed with his suggestion. He was suggesting I come back after 3,000 mi even though he was going to give me a synthetic oil that lasted for 5000. He then suggested an upsell or an upcharge of his fuel cleaner for $20 or I could go next door to AutoZone and get it for 9:00 which I did I immediately brought it back to him to use and then from that point I was told that there were leaks and there were gasket issues and that there were other complications that would require me to purchase a package that was the steroid version of the fuel cleaner which was upwards to $200. I expressed my inability to purchase these items and then was made to feel unsafe in my vehicle even though they had just changed the oil and everything should be in working order at that point. I was literally told in front of other people that I should watch my car daily and be concerned. Then on the outgo ticket on my notes on the computer he proceeded to type in that he recommended engine cleaner that you put into the gas tank even though 25 minutes earlier he had already suggested that and I had went over to AutoZone and purchased it and brought it directly back to him. When I asked him to explain what was going on with my vehicle the only thing he could relate it to were spare ribs or chicken. He stated that the spare ribs or the chicken might be present after a few months but the stabilizers would not be and if I truly cared for my safety I would consider purchasing the upgrades and upsells that he recommended.. I don't doubt his knowledge as he reminded me of it constantly. I just doubt his sincerity when it came to customer care because it seemed more evident that he was interested in the upsell or the upgrade or the up charge and not necessarily the comfort that I needed to drive away and feel safe. The point is, I came to this location about $1,400 mi earlier than I needed to based on what they sold me before and before I left there I had purchased probably a total of $100 worth of materials from AutoZone and jiffy lube. I was totally taken back when I was argued with at the checkout counter although three other people were present. This place has changed and I definitely won't return

I originally took my Nissan Titan to Valvoline just for an oil change. The truck was not having any…read moretransmission problems at all when I brought it in. While I was there, one of the employees recommended that I have the transmission serviced and told me they could do it. They tried several times to hook their equipment up, had problems doing it, and transmission fluid ended up coming out. They added fluid back, but I still have not been given anything showing how much fluid was lost, how much was put back in, what exact fluid they used, or how they confirmed the transmission had the correct amount in it afterward. I was there for over an hour. In the end, they told me they were unable to complete the transmission service and basically said they weren't charging me for it. Unfortunately, it feels like I've been "paying" for that attempted service ever since. The transmission started having problems after that visit. I spoke with the store manager, Ben, and at his request I took the truck to Auto Clinique. I actually took it there twice. They told me they could see a transmission problem, recommended that I take it to a dealership, and relayed their findings back to Valvoline. After that, Ben recommended I take the truck to Fifth Gear Automotive. Fifth Gear pulled a small sample of the transmission fluid and said it smelled burned and had metal in it. They also told me they could not really determine how much damage there was without doing a transmission service and fully evaluating the fluid. Valvoline would not approve that service. They later called me and said they considered the problem normal wear and tear and were not taking responsibility for it. What makes that hard for me to accept is that the truck had zero transmission symptoms before the Valvoline visit. Also, while the truck has around 145,000 miles on it, the transmission itself does not. Nissan replaced the transmission at around 95,000 miles, so this transmission only had about 45,000 miles on it when this happened. The communication afterward has also been frustrating. Prior to September 4th, Ben was great, apologetic, and determined to make this right for me. On September 4th, he called, said that he and the area manager determined it was normal wear and tear, and were not accepting any responsibility for the transmission symptoms or damage. I was told the Area Manager, Brittany, would contact me within 48 hours or two business days. Five business days went by with no call. I followed up again and still did not hear back. At this point, I'm disappointed with how the situation has been handled from both the service side and the management side. I'm still looking for a reasonable explanation of what happened and a fair resolution.
