Came here for an oil change. About what I expected during the whole oil change process. Typical upsell from the mechanics. The wait was about average. Apparently one of the added bonuses of service here is a car wash. I did not know this until after I had paid my bill. I walked out to my car where it was waiting in the post car wash line getting wiped down and dried. I got in my car and drove away. As I was driving home the side view mirror fell off. I immediately turned around and told the manager about the damage to my car which presumably came from the car wash. She asked the dryers if they noticed that it was broken to which the responded yes they had. THEY LET ME DRIVE AWAY WITH DAMAGE TO MY CAR THAT WAS CAUSED BY THEM WITHOUT TELLING ME. They agreed to replace it for free but the fact that they hoped I wouldn't notice the damage really angers me. Furthermore, while fixing my side view mirror, they managed to break three additional pieces in my car, only two which they would fix. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waste your money! Today was my first and last time using this place. The customer service was mediocre at best: the mechanics and cashier all acted like I was a waste of their time. When they had finished with my car, I got in, started it up, and I heard a clacking sound from the engine that wasn't there before. I popped the hood and noticed that the cap for the oil fill was off. Seriously?! I then checked the oil and it didn't even show up on the dipstick. I called one of their mechanics over to find out what was wrong. He found the cap and put it back on, and then he pulled the car back in to the garage. Apparently the oil was under-filled and that was causing the clacking sound. Once it was filled up correctly it was acting normally again. I spoke to the manager and demanded a refund, which I received. What a waste of time! Stay away! read more

So, Clay posts over a month later that he is certain that the scratches didn't happen at his shop. Of course he will make that claim. I didn't say they, kwik-kar, did the touch-up, I stated that the manager "claimed" there was touch up paint on the scratch. Sorry, but she is definitely not an authority on paint. I would love to see the surveillance video of my car "not" being scratched, but I am certain if you have the video you claim, you will see one of your people wiping down my car, and probably scratching the car as he leaned against it to wipe the top. Since you claim you have video, I guess you should prepare to bring it to court. read more

I have been coming here for many years. It was always pleasant and regular oil change. Sometimes they would alert me to something that needed attention. Lately - for the last year- it has been a little pushier upsells. Many times for things I didn't need. I am starting to suspect that they are breaking things. They just told me I needed a gasket because I had an oil leak. Car hadnt been leaking, so I didnt authorize the work. I suspect it will start leaking now when I get home. Today I started thinking about taking my cars somewhere else. read more

Have had my oil changed here several times. They give a great car wash with the oil change for "free" and are usually pretty quick. I also like the fact that they do not try to upsell me on other services every time I go in. read more

We've been getting our oil changes here for 8 years. We're always appreciative of their professional mechanic staff and don't feel pressured to always do what they recommend, fluid change, etc. But their recommendations have always been minimal and never unnecessary up-sales. Yes, the waits can be long but we typically try to go during the slower times of day. Great, reliable and consistent service, year after year! read more

I have been going to this location for years. I do like the customer service here most of the time.been taking my truck to this location over other for seive and wash. Took my moms car there today. 9/8 for oil service. I forget to mention to check the air filters. The guy came in and showed me they needed replacement.(do not remember his name late 30s Hispanic) only rean im giving 4 stars the line do get long here. And the offer shampooing but not everyday. Avoid the lunch crush. Go 3ish slower except weds. I will still return. read more

Worst place for car repair. They do the scare tactics.Recently after an axle job , there was sound from the brake pads. They gave me a new quote to change break pads and drums. I went in for a second opinion to another mechanic, and found the pads were all good. The sound was coming from a bent metal piece around the drum, an after effect of the axle change.It was resolved in 5 minutes. They nearly got me with false diagnosis...Do not go here for any repairs..not trust worthy , and bad service. read more

I brought my car in for inspection. After 4 hours I called and they said the car passed but there was a warning light on the inside regarding the oxygen sensor and if I brought the car back the next week they would fix the sensor. I wish they would have let me know earlier but okay fine. The next week I brought the car in, showed them the paperwork they gave me the week before and left the car to get the oxygen sensor fixed. Again they did not call, I called them after 3 hours this time, and they said my car was ready. I asked if it passed inspection. After 10 minutes on hold they said no, that there was a warning light that said the oxygen sensor was faulty. I told them, that was the exact reason I had brought the car back in the first place. I had already been charged the inspection fee. They said there was a mixup and to bring it back the next weekend. Foolishly I did so, and incredibly the exact same thing happened. I had even brought their paperwork from the first visit in, made sure the person behind the counter knew the situation and yet amazingly they still had made no effort to fix this warning light. When I went to pick up the car they said the repair work would be $200. At this point I'm done. I don't care if I have to pay someone else another inspection fee, these people don't know what they're doing. While I was waiting they couldn't find the car key for the guy in front of me. Don't go here unless you want to waste time and money. They don't know what they're doing and based on the people behind the counter they don't really care. read more

If their quality of service is anything like their advertising I would recommend staying away!! Received offer for a free oil change and car wash but upon arrival was informed that it would cost $30 because my Honda Civic requires synthetic. I am at the dealership doing it for $40...At the DEALERSHIP!!! So much for a free oil change as their advertising offered. I will give them credit as they did say they would do a free oil change but with an oil that was not in line with the recommended for my car...WHAT???? I will never go back and would recommend you don't either. Just my opinion based on my experience. read more

I recently had my state inspection here. It went very quickly and smoothly... car checked out just fine. The service was lacking... I kind of felt belittled at first, but I killed them with kindness and they seemed friendlier by the end of it. There is never a good reason to provide anything but great customer service and I expect that everywhere I go. read more

After a bad experience at the car wash across the street I immediately came to Kwick Kar for a car wash. My main concern was cleaning the interior. Since I just came from a car wash, I went with their basic package. For $12 I was surprised with the result. My car glistened in the sun and my interior was clean. Granted, it wasn't perfect but for $12 it was clean enough for me. Compared to the $40 for the wash across the street I was happy with the result and the price at Kwick Kar. read more

Car wash: first time in and was pretty straight forward. Drive under the overhang to the left of the building and was greeted. Chose just the outside wash only for $10. Drove myself through the car wash and at the other end was greeted by workers who wiped down the outside. When they were done, walked around the vehicle... All looked good so tipped accordingly. read more

Save your money....No senior discount for Tuesday.....pd $11.....back of car didn't get soap rinsed off....still have bugs left on windshield.... guys did dry "most" of car but did not wipe off oil/dirt on bottom of car. NOTE: have fresh ceramic coating so all could have come off easily! read more

I came for an oil change and they suggested to get the air filter changed so I said ok. They washed and cleaned the inside of the car and vacuumed it. It's nice and clean but the only problem I have is the girl at the front. She didn't give my receipt. She told me give me a second and I'll get it for you then I sat and waited 15. I finally go up there and ask for it and she acts like she doesn't remember and doesn't apologize for making me wait for no reason. If it wasn't for that I would have given this place 5 stars. read more

Think twice before you bring your car here for service. They stripped my oil pan and had the nerves to tell me if I paid 90% of cost they will pay the rest. While I was on the phone arguing with the manager's manager ("regional manager") they rethreaded my oil pan without my consent. Instead of doing the right thing and replacing my oil pan they basically temporarily fixed the problem. Do yourself a favor a take your car somewhere else. read more

I will not go back to this place after how rudely I was treated by the cashier lady. She was an older lady with glasses. I came up to pay and no one was at the counter. When she did show up she was on the phone. I told her what make my car was and under the name. She snapped at me and whipped the screen toward me saying this is all your charges in a tone and manner that was extremely unprofessional. I had to tell her she was being rude! I spent almost $150 in services. Because of that experience I will NEVER go back. The guys who serviced my car was wonderful. They were professional and courteous and did a great job. My teenage son took his truck here today for an inspection. He was told it would not pass inspection Due to a loose belt tensionor. Kwik Kar personnel confirm it is not required to pass. No receipt was given for the repairs. I personally drove up there for a copy and to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, when I spoke with the mechanic that did the repair and the manager the story changed. My son is basically being told he just misunderstood. They told me he agreed to the "optional"repairs of $300. Wow! I am just floored that they are saying he was told the complete opposite of what he tells me happened today. It's all about the upsell I guess. What poor business practice and pitiful customer service. I will NEVER return to this location. I feel like we have definitely been taken advantage of! read more

This is the best place to do a state inspection , oil change and a car wash which comes free with an oil change. They also vacuum your vehicle and wipe down inside out after the car wash. So much attention to detail . Would recommend this place very strongly if you want great quick customer service . read more

Typical 2-hour wait for an oil change on Saturday. Free car wash is great EXCEPT when they don't close the car door and your seat is soaked when you sit down. Disappointing effort and attention to detail. read more

I'd give it less than if possible. I asked for a BASIC (read, NOT FULL SYNTHETIC) oil change, the mechanic tried to sell me on transmission fluid by showing me my clean oil dip stick (I do actually know what it looks like because I check my oil regularly), then I told him AGAIN to just to the BASIC, (NOT FULL SYNTHETIC) oil change, just to go pay my bill to find out he did the full synthetic anyways because I don't know what's best. So I asked to speak to someone in charge and he said it was him. Come to find out he LIED and was not the person in charge. I left in tears, my husband calls and demands a partial refund, so I go back because the credit card used needed to be run again for a refund. Except, apparently it doesn't. I walked back into that shop just to be called a liar, and a couple of other colorful names, called my hubby a liar, lectured me again on how my car has to have only the Full synthetic (even though the manual says otherwise). The entire shop full of mechanics and customers watched the real manager and the desk girl rip me a new asshole. And he never touched my card for the refund, just pulled something up on the computer. I'll be surprised if I ever see that money again. So, go here if you need a dose of mysoginy and humiliation. Otherwise, steer clear. EDITED TO ADD - Once my car had cooled down from driving I checked the oil myself not trusting that they had done their job. Found the bar that holds the hood up broken and laying across my engine, and not enough oil, I will have to add more myself. Fraudulent and shoddy work. read more

Went in for a hand wash on my new truck. Watched the guy pull it around back and spray it off and started to dry it. No soap,bucket anything.... Notified manager and the female lied and said she saw him use soap.... The male manager made them wash it again with soap this time.... Thought all was good til I noticed 2 chips on my windshield... I can't prove it but I know they weren't there when I pulled in.... I can't believe they threw something to chip my window just because they half-assed the job ...
