My friend had recommended this shop to me when I was having some minor car issues. I had a very positive experience with this location. I was experiencing an issue with my PCM cover and wasn't exactly sure what was wrong. They inspected my car for about an hour and eventually determined that I needed a new one. I have been scammed by mechanics before, so I was a little nervous. Max explained what the PCM did and what was going on with my car. He told me that I could look for a part online if I wanted to have my price a little lower. They picked up the part and were very communicative with me through the whole process. It was a very smooth and fast process. I appreciated that they did not try to get me to fix more things/buy more expensive parts, which most places would encourage! I recently visited Kwik Kar Lube & Tune for an oil change, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. After the service, I discovered that the OIL CAP had been LEFT OFF, which could have caused significant damage to my engine. This oversight is not only unacceptable but also a serious safety hazard. I expected a professional service, but this mistake shows a lack of attention to detail and professionalism. ***beware of these scammers*** i went in for an oil change and left with other issues. i have never had issues with my jeep wrangler and then i stop here for a standard oil change and boom...i wake up one morning and oil is leaking everywhere. took it back to the shop and they tell me all the cars like mine are having such issues. bullcrap!!! i will be contacting the better business bureau and filling a complaint with the state. don't come here even if it for an simple oil change. you will leave with issues you never had before you went into this horrible place and people. read more

My fiancé dropped off my sons Toyota Solara for repairs. The shop owner name NOUR helped us when it was time to pick up the vehicle. He was very friendly and you could tell that he took the time to look into the repairs and to test drive the vehicle to make sure that it was safe to drive. This was interesting to me because typically the manager doesn't do that, they leave it to someone else to do. I shopped around for pricing and he actually was better priced than anyone else and I got three different quotes. He made a strong suggestion about the repairs that need to be done and give us a list of them, pricing, and order of priority of the repairs. Thank you Nour! We will be back! read more

I needed new tires. A friend recommended Kwik Kar. I called ahead because I needed specialty tires. They ordered them and were able to get them in around 2pm the same day. When I came in they got me right in and changed the tires quickly. They did an exceptional job of balancing the tires. My ride home was smooth. It feels like the guys here legitimately care about you as their customer. While I was in the waiting room, a lady walked in with her a.c. Completely out. We all know in this heat when your a.c. goes out it's basically an emergency and we would pay just about any price that's quoted to us to get out of that misery!! So I watched, and the owner did not prey on that at all, he listened to her problem and then went right away to working with her and offered her a discounted rate! After church today I realized my tire was going flat and tried to air it up at QT and another station but each place didn't have the attachment I needed on their pump. I thought this was crazy anyway I went to Kwik KAR Lube and I hate I didn't get the guys name (nice looking gentleman with pretty blue eyes) I think he was the manager. Very polite and his customer service skills were awesome. He took my car right in and fixed my tire (nail) To be honest on a regular day I wouldn't have never stopped at that place but I'm so glad I did and I will definitely go back just for the great CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

Well my daughter took her car for an oil change like she does. Mike suggested an engine flush and she trusted that he knew but now she has no car...They took a perfectly good running car and turned it into nothing. It is ashame that they can get away with things like this and still be in business.I just pray that karma or every wrong they have done bites.....and Nor has an Issue with women as also stated in another review...not only did she have to pay them but for the car they destroyed and try to get something else...They don't care because its not them. read more

I completely understand that it's 95 degrees in Texas and that, obviously, mechanics have grease from the car on their hands. I'm just displeased by the fact that the gentleman was literally dripping sweat when he got into my car to move it and left greasy handprints and dripping sweat handprints on my door, the interior handle, the steering wheel... I'd have happily taken my car out of the garage myself, or it would have been nice for him to wipe his hands. Again, I get the heat and the grease. Obviously. I just feel the situation could have been handled differently. Also, it seemed to have taken a lot longer than the usual Kwik Kar I go to on Fitzhugh. They changed my front light though, perhaps that was the culprit. read more

So I pull up and before I even get out of my car I ask how much for a oil change. I was then quoted 34.99. sd$wherever b it's a bit more than I normally pay but I'm good with that price. The mechanic takes my car, changed the oil and then brings me to the garage and shows me that I need a specific blend of oil for my car, so the price I originally was quoted was wrong, I actually owe 69.99. I say that's not right, because he should have told me that before he changed the oil, so he gives me 10 off. I still ended up paying 75 for a oil change. They ripped me off and I will never be back. read more

Was planning on going back to have additional work done on my truck and even purchase rims and tires from them. That's not happening now. Two weeks ago I went in for inspection and oil change. Spent more than I had planned but thought it was worth it at the time. In the future, tell your workers to pay a little more attention to detail. Even the common sense ones. They said engine coolant was fine, but they were just going to top it off... YOU FORGOT TO PUT THE CAP BACK ON!!!!!!!! My 2yr old truck started to over heat because all the coolant was gone. SMH. They rip you off. I let them talk me into two really expensive wiper blades because the guy said they are "especially made for the Ford Focus." After that he called me over again and tried to get me to upgrade to a really expensive motor oil because it's "especially made for the Ford Focus." I said no to the expensive oil, but they had already put on the blades, so it was too late to back out of that. After I paid well over twice what I thought I would pay and almost all of the rest of my discretionary income from this paycheck, I checked online. There are lots of blades that fit the Focus. Ok, so I feel silly that I didn't research wiper blade prices before, but that's no excuse for them using the "especially made for" line. My first time coming in for an oil change and I decided to go ahead and get my inspection done while I was here. This place seemed quite busy the last time I passed by it. Friendly staff and clean environments is a good combination. They even have a water chiller with cold water for you while you wait. They have a pretty good size Samsung TV so you can watch something while you wait. The staff made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen to my car as I waited period they confirm to me the oil was actually in the car and the levels were correct, they also walked me through their 20 points check of the vehicle. I was pretty surprised at the service I received. I think this place is worthy of giving it a shot even if the star rating doesn't seem to be exactly appropriate. They were even kind enough to give me a free car wash from their partner just down the street. Ask for Nour, he was very helpful in making sure I knew exactly what I was going to pay for. read more

I've been coming here for 6 years and have been consistently impressed with the service. Michelle and team are friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely seem as if they're there to help. I've had service done on 3 cars in the 6 years I've been coming here: Lancer, Mini Cooper and Jetta. I've had (almost) everything done from oil changes to AC service to tire alignment to state inspection to transmission work. I've been charged fair prices and never once been given the feeling that their goal was to "sell" me.
