After taxes, optional hazard protection and fees a we paid $350. Not bad! * Service: We arrived just before 8am on a Saturday to purchase 2 tires. We were informed the vehicle would be ready around 2pm. Around 3:30 we called and were told the vehicle wasn't even in the bay yet but it should be ready shortly and they would call. About 5:30 we called again and the vehicle hadn't started service yet. We hadn't heard from them by 7pm (closing time) so we just figured we'd get the vehicle the next day. Around 8:15pm we received a call from a very nice gentleman " J" asking "are you coming to get your vehicle today?" We responded "we were waiting on a call stating the vehicle was ready." This will be my last visit at this particular Firestone. After making an appointment to replace ONE tire at 3 pm, I was told by the employee that they wouldn't have the car ready for about 3 hours. I understand having other cars that were there before me, however what is the point of making an appointment if you have to wait nearly 4 hours to get one tire on a car? To make matters worse, I was told that my battery was bad and needs replacing, when I had actually got a new installed barely a week ago and have had no issues since. I'm not sure if this is a petty attempt to get more money or faulty equipment on their part, but regardless I will be having my tire needs met elsewhere with a business that respects and values customers time. read more

I just had a horrible experience at this Firestone. I highly recommend you DO NOT use this place. I had new tires put on my truck about 3 weeks ago at Firestone. Today I had a very bad leak, which appears to be coming from one of the the valve stems. I asked this Firestone to look at it, and said that it looks like a warranty issue. They said I would need to wait 3 to 4 hours till they serviced ALL other customers before me. read more

I would not give this location one star but I have to.. Had an appointment at 2pm and was told it was not verified so Evan set another appointment at 4pm. Evan told me it would take 1 1/2 hr for a state inspection. I left, went to the gym came back to be told at almost 5:30pm oh I forgot about your car . I told him to give me my key. No apology or nothing.. They can't get work done because all they do is play at this location. Never see anyone working. I have nothing but positive things to say about this firestone!! I'm not from the area so when a chunk of my tire came off a half hour from where I was staying, I was panicked. They didn't have the specific tire in stock so Michael W. was calling other nearby locations to see if they had any in stock and was going to drive and get it for me if they did. I ended up driving on the spare back and went to a firestone near where I was staying. They had reserved the tire for me so when I showed up, it only took a half hour. Wish I could rate it zero stars. What the heck is the point of making an appointment if they don't get to your car till 2 hours from your appointment time?!? I made an appointment today for noon, and when I called at 2pm, the guy said they was just now pulling my car into the stall. I was told it would take 2 hours to find out the issue with my ac, so I figured they would've found it out by now since I dropped it off 30 minutes till my noon appointment time. I'm definitely calling corporate right after I post this. Shut this location down. I should've listened to the bad reviews before choosing this location so to those who read this. DON'T pick this location. it needs to be shut down. I've seen how many cars are in the stalls at a time so you can't say it depends on how many they're working on at that time. I went in for inspection today and was met with the nicest and most professional staff. Jenna was the lady I first talked to and she was so nice and helpful. You guys were obviously very busy but she acted very professional and organized. I can back an hour later to pick up my car and there was a different guy at the front desk. I didn't get his name but he was also very sweet and very professional. If I didn't live so far from this location I would make this my regular spot. I scheduled an appointment for 4 new tires and an alignment. I checked into my appointment and recapped the services required. After sitting there for 45 minutes, I was notified that the original tires that I requested were not available and I was presented with an alternate. After 2 hours, my car was complete. I was notified that the recommended services included an alignment in 2,000 miles to preserve my investment. I notified the young lady that an alignment should have been included today. She stated to me and I quote, "I thought you said you wanted an alignment but I could not remember." Side note: I sat in the lobby the entire time so a simple question for clarification would have cleared this up...right?!?! I guess common sense is not too common. I was notified that if I wanted an alignment, it would take an additional 45 minutes to an hour. I politely declined the work and checked out. Once I was back in my car, the staff had not bothered to even reset the maintenance light which meant I had to go back inside to have this completed. I stopped visiting this location a while ago for the same customer service issues. I will NEVER return to this location. read more

Okay. So, I would have loved to give this place more stars, but after what I found out, I am not a happy camper. I needed four new tires and after doing a lot of research, I found that their buy 3 get one free would be the best deal. What annoyed me from the beginning was that it felt like I was getting hustled because they were trying to say the price of things really fast without thinking that I would ask questions, plus they tried to upsale me several times. Unfortunately for them, my family is old school and we made them explain everything step by step and I made them hit the calculator to see that they were overcharging me by $100. Then to make matters worse, when I went in after securing the correct price, they tried to make it sound like they did me a favor by giving me the correct price. I'm also annoyed that I asked about the $40 discount coupon and they basically refused to honor their own coupon. Meh. So I still go through with it because honestly, the customer service was really decent and no one was rude at all. So, I drop my car off around 2 and they say that it will take about an hour and a half to get done. I go to pick up my car after 6:30 pm and it is STILL NOT DONE! Not only that, I am told that they cannot do my alignment because of issues that should have been corrected when I got my car fixed after someone did a hit and run. Fast forward to the next day, I call the collision shop that fixed my car and told them what was wrong and low and behold, it turns out that my car was not fixed correctly by FRIGGIN' FIRESTONE! I kid you not! They f'ed up my work, blamed it on someone else, and they were the problem the whole time. Yeah. So, thankfully the collision shop is awesome and their work is guaranteed for the life of the car. Too bad I have to take it back in on my own time and use up their time so they can fix Firestone's problem. Grrr. This will be the absolute last time I use their services and btw, I hope they can find the original bolt that they lost to my car. I am seriously so hacked off right now. Never again yo! read more

Came here to get a flat fixed on a rental from Enterprise. It is free for Enterprise. Well 4hrs later my flat is almost fixed. Initial time that was given to be by manager was a 1.5 hr.. The manager did not offer any excuse or reason for the wait. Cody must be the assistant and was very nice and tried to explain in every way why it was taking so long.. I came to firestone to get an alignment and an oil change . Called ahead of time and they said they had an opening right away. I have been sitting for three hours and counting ........ Would have to say the work is what you expect and if you can look over their high buck " suggestive " fixed then drop your car off and don't expect to get it back for two days! Competitive pricing is the one star. So I have an update. A customer care rep contacted me via yelp. Seems like a pretty nice thing to do right. Except after admitting that my wait time was "not proper procedure" and the saying the work done to my car was the reason for my wait time. Except I was waiting for an one hour and fourty two min to be exact before my vehicle made it in the shop. So my post has been flagged and said it was not recomended. What was done is they "said" there was a formal complaint filed. I hope if you take a chance on this location they have started following company procedure. read more

My daughter and I were recently on the road and encountered a tire issue. I pulled off and checked the pressure and the gauge showed I had about 15 pounds. I was scared to death. I normally buy my tires at the Firestone in Waco, so I looked on the map and found this one was nearby. They could not have been any more courteous and professional. They checked the pressure in all of my tires for me, showed me that my tire gauge was busted, physically inspected all of the tires looking for nails, etc., and put air in the tires that were low. They were so incredibly kind. My experience (being a female) is that auto and tire shops frequently try to give me the run-around and try to talk me into purchasing things I don't need. That was not at all the case here. I appreciate this shop so much, it makes me want to drive to DeSoto for my next set of tires. read more
