This place gets five stars all around. Needed to replace my driver's side and back seat windows after someone decided to break into my car (did you have to break two?).... Their owner Sam was great from beginning to end. He was extremeley helpful over the phone and wasted no time when it came to work. Less than an hour later I had two perfectly installed windows. I had to get my windshield replaced before taking my car on a road trip. I made my appointment last Friday, and took my car in on Monday. I also had to replace the bulbs on my headlights and asked for a quote on them. They said that if I bought the bulbs at an auto part store, they would install them for free. Called Kuttek first thing in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in as their last appointment for that Saturday. They estimated 45 min. - 1 hour for the work but I was in and out of there in 40 minutes. I couldn't be happier with the customer service, price and the results. Plus, I love that they use OEM quality glass...my windshield looks exactly as it did when I first got my car! My "review" is a week or so late but never the less.... My windshield was struck by one of those rocks that the lovely speeding big rigs on the 880 kicked up. :-/ I had been driving around with a chip that spread and spread...and spread. I have gotten a "stern" warning from a wonderful Highway Patrol ( with nothing better to do at 10 am on a Saturday). No ticket (thank God)...fast forward almost a year...I had not gotten my windshield fixed. I finally had a little extra cash ( cuz we all know that the Bay Area costs a freakin arm and leg to live here) so called around to get quotes....This was THE best price I was quoted! I had received quotes ranging from $200 to $400 dollars. Called here...got in the same day....best of all $175! So I go in for an estimate to vinyl wrap my bumpers and grill on my truck. The guy tells me they can't wrap the chrome because it won't look good. When I tell him they wrapped chrome on my other car two years ago and it still looks good he changed and said "oh it's too time consuming". I told him I was asking for a quote not timeframe. He told me they were too busy to do the work and suggested I go to eBay to buy the parts already done So for a company that I know wraps full cars/boats/and their 5th wheel in the the back lot, you don't know how to wrap chrome bumpers? Or turn away business. I wasn't trying to drop my truck off right then. I could have waited until it wasn't "time consuming". I had used this place before with a good result. A bit expensive but I will pay for quality. But there are other quality wrap shops out there. And they will get my business from here on out. read more

Really great customer service! Made an appointment over the phone and went in the next day. Had to get my windshield replaced cause of the typical "6 wheeler rock" situation. I looked around before making the appointment and everyone was charging $220+ (sigh). So when I called Kuttek they said it'll only be $165 (or something around that). I left my car at the shop while I walked around (FYI, the Ghirardelli factory is around the corner and they have an outlet shop inside!). It took them 1.5 hours to get it done, no biggy. I can't recommend this place enough. My windshield had a crack in it beyond repair back in January. I was able to schedule an appointment later in the week when I could get there and they could ensure that they had the right windshield. I had to wait a little since Sam was the only one working at the moment. But the customer service is beyond belief. I witnessed him take great care of another customer when the special part they ordered hadn't arrived by fault of the shipper. I asked Sam if he could take a look at my aftermarket automatic window that wasn't working. He couldn't promise anything, but he checked it out. He fixed the problem (loose wire connection) at no charge. When he rang me up, he gave me the sale price of a sale that had ended the day before. We had been on a road trip down to Santa Barbara and on our first leg of the trip the frigging power window wouldn't shut. GRRR. Long story short we got the window to roll up to the top but it was definitely out of alignment. I happened to be on Yelp peaking around for a new lunch place to try. Had some errands lined up for the day. But I called Kuttek Werkz just to see what it might cost. The guy gave me a quote of $45-$200. Hahahaha. But the guy sound sincere on the phone. I later called back and asked if we could take the car in shortly and he said no problem. Cool. We had to drive pass his place for our errands any how. Kind of strange when I drove up because it was a storefront. I was wondering where their "work space" was. Duhhh out back ...look out back gurl. Then I saw the Hummer parked in front of the place and thought 'Uh ohhh I think it might cost me the high end of that price quote.' But that was all assumptions. Sam was professional. He looked like he was 18.They finished working on the car in less than 15 minutes! I mentioned that I had found him on Yelp. He gave us a really decent discount. I shopped around online for prices to replace my front windshield. This place doesn't give you quotes online so I called the next day and their prices were MUCH more reasonable than the quotes I already got. They even got me in that same day! They were friendly and courteous and had my windshield installed in less than 20 minutes. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. The guy said they'll come to your house like other companies do to replace the glass but it was raining that day so I had to go to their office/garage. Fast, friendly service. Needed rear back window replaced on my Mini Cooper after it was broken. Reasonable pricing based on calling around to other shops for a quote. Called in on a Thursday afternoon, they had my glass delivered the following day. I had a 14" crack on my front windshield and it needed to be replaced. I came across Kuttek Werkz after seeing their post on Craigslist. The price for a windshield repair was relatively cheap and I liked how they would come to your home and replace it in your driveway. The repair didn't take too long, but the workmanship was okay. After installing the new windshield, I noticed a 1/4" gap on the sides between the glass and vehicle frame. They said it's like that, even though I knew it wasn't, and afterwards I ended up trimming the rubber seal on the top of the windshield, at the edges, which reduced the gap a little. The glue they used also left a strong smell in the car for about a week or so. However, there haven't been any leaks or problems whatsoever since then, and they were cheap, so I guess I got what I paid for. read more
