All of their meats were fresh, well tempered (not stale/straight out of the freezer). Condiment bar was self serve and had a wide selection to customize your sauce. Their veggies were also very fresh & the appetizers such as wings & the squid ink dumpling were AMAZING. Soft drinks are also included in the Premium AYCE price at $45/pp after tax. All of their waitstaff we interacted with were kind, patient, attentive, and helpful. Their seating layout is also notable-- each individual table was enclosed, it gave a more cozy/private feel rather than loud & overstimulating despite dining during peak hour. If I could critique even just one thing, it'd be the dessert options, almond pudding and ice jelly were a bit disappointing to end the meal with cuz they weren't great in our opinion, but not problematic enough for me to dock a star. Next time I'm craving hotpot, Daimaru will absolutely be at the top of my choice list moving forward!

They have a sauce buffet and dessert buffet for extra charge. Also semi-buffet is available every night from 8:30pm. The atmosphere is lively; they make hand-pulled noodles at your table and have special performances throughout the meal.

Of course the menu selection is smaller than their usual dining but it's quite worth it imo. You can get proteins like marbled beef, lamb shoulder, pork, chicken, and flat iron steak. For the other hot pot classics and vegetable options you can find things like quail eggs, frozen tofu, fish tofu, konjac noodles, imitation crab, assortment of fish balls, cabbage, enoki mushroom, and much more. Service is great as always and very attentive. You can expect long waits even late at night so best to make a reservation in advance. Overall, a great deal with some great food, especially if you're looking for some late night eats.

We ordered a variety of meats, vegetables, noodles, and more. The portions of each looked huge! We almost declined some of it but surprisingly, we finished it all. Wow! Everything tasted really good, especially with some of the mix-your-own dipping sauces.

The meat quality was good, and the newly renovated restaurant has a spacious, comfortable atmosphere that works well for family meals and celebrations. The $39.99 AYCE menu provides good value considering the number of options available. The hotpot broth was okay -- enjoyable but not the highlight of the meal. I think this place shines more for the variety, BBQ options, and overall dining experience. Parents will appreciate that high chairs and booster seats are available. However, there is no changing table, no kids' utensils, and the washroom is outside the restaurant. Overall, a nice Richmond Hill spot for AYCE hotpot and BBQ, especially for families and larger groups. Would come back to try more dishes!

Prices: $28.99 per person $16.99 for kids 5.99-7.99 for each soup base When I asked for a 6 beef, the staff rolled their eyes and laughed. Kind of put the mood off being our first time there. My in-law asked if they spoke Catonese or Mandarin, the lady who gave the attitude said they only spoke English, but she spoke Mandarin at the table beside us. In the end we asked for desserts which they did not have. A definite waste of money here. Would surely never come here again or would I recommend.

We chose an array of hotpot broths including the house special spicy, sukiyaki, pork bone broth & tomato soup. We came here to celebrate a family occasion, and Liuyishou delivered with its good selection of broths, meats, seafood, and veggies. The $8 Wagyu add-on on weekend was a nice upgrade--thinly sliced, tender, and worth trying if you want something a bit more indulgent. The $3.99 all-you-can-drink station was a pleasant surprise too, making it easy to keep refilling without thinking twice. Service was quick even despite it being relatively busy and a bit loud during dinner peak. Note the pricing per adult ($34.99 weekend dinner) excludes the soup base which is about $17 for a large shareable pot or $9 for an individual sized pot per guest so the bill can rack up. The wagyu and drinks are add-ons too. They do have a 2 adult + 1 kid family combo for $73.99 on weekends with one drink pitcher excluding soup base. And my husband had a 2 meat shabu shabu with teriyaki base. The meat we chose beef and lamb. The teriyaki base came pretty quick. We started boiling the base and then we got the 2 bowls of meat, 1 bowl of vegetables, and a bowl of the noodles. The base was pretty sweet, but still good with all the ingredients. The dipping sauces were set on a central table that we made our own. I like sesame oil, sesame sauce, Shacha sauce with green onion and cilantro to mix them up. My coconut Tom Yum soup came a bit late. The meat was a good portion, the shrimp was 3 big pieces of tiger shrimp. And there was some veggies at the bottom with noodles. They were all in good portion, the only problem was the soup, it didn't seem to have coconut in it, the taste and the color looked like Tom Yum soup only. For lunch time, my Shabu Shabu was $16.xx+tax and my noodles soup was $9.80+tax. The price was pretty decent. I would like to come back and try other combinations.

Most hot pot places just use hot water that dilutes. Their chinese sausage clay pot rice was also very good. Osmanthus clam was excellent. Meatball mixed order was a pass. The beef was also good.
