KF tea has good quality tea from Taiwan. I love the amorous smell and taste of black tea. They have many options, green tea, fruit tea etc. All are good. Our drinks were prepared within minutes. Mango drink was excellent. Found the lemonade too sour but bubbles were soft. I wish they kept the table and sitting area in front little bit cleaner. First off, this shopping centre was bustling and we were pleasantly surprised. I've gotta say that Kung Fu's boba tea was overall better than Gong Cha's, but that's not to say that everything was perfect at Kung Fu, because they had several of the same issues as most other tea shops. The good thing is that their fresh green tea had little bitterness compared to equivalent teas at other shops, but I also think the 50% sweetness (vs 30% that usually works for me) certainly helped offset that. We had two of the same large green tea with boba but order them separately so that one had #33 and the other #38 on the receipt. The boba in the tea #33 had the full sweetness, but the boba for the other tea had no flavour, presumably because it was from a new batch, and this completely spoiled the experience. So the inconsistency was a big issue, and this should be avoidable and avoided. On the plus side, they had a small table with a fee chairs in front of the kiosk, which is a nice touch, and service was quick and friendly. I hope they keep improving. read more

After seeing a movie at the AMC in GSP, I placed an order on the KT app for me and my hubs. We walked around the mall while waiting for the pick-up time. When we got to the kiosk on the lower level of the mall, I saw that the plastic cups with the order stickers were on deck to be made but had not been made. It wasn't busy and there were no other customers on line. But once one staffer realized the cups were sitting there, she got the other workers to make the drinks for us right away. Decided to take a trip down memory lane in GSP since I no longer live in NJ. Kung Fu Tea sounded like a good idea since it happens to be located at one of my favorite spots in GSP - Cotton On. Since there was no line (it's usually crowded) I decided to introduce my partner to a cool combo that KFT was offering: taro slush with pudding. There was an issue with the payment system they use - Level Up - but the manager was super patient: They also got the order wrong twice but again, the staff was really patient and took care of it as best as they could. Though the experience wasn't perfect, the way the staff handled everything was very on point. And will say if you like a sweet dessert that brings you to a tropical Asian destination, taro slush with pudding and crystal pearls is where it's at! read more

This is the fastest I've ever written a review... I just tossed half of my drink, less than five minutes after I bought it! The two stars is because the flavor wasn't bad. But the straw was extremely difficult to open, and also extremely small, which made it near impossible to enjoy the drink, because the bubbles kept clogging the straw. Am I the only one that's ever had this problem?? To be fair... I may give it a try once more, but maybe just bring my own straw. read more

Ordered from this place for the very first time tonight, only because they were a DoorDash add on for our original order. The teas that we did receive were good. A bit too sweet for it to be only 30% sugar, which is the level we normally get other places. They also put ice in my drinks although it says no ice on the tickets taped right to the drinks. There's this lemon almond drink that isn't available anymore. We didn't realize this and ordered it. I gave this location a shot because it is way closer than going to fort lee or ny for their other locations. That was quite a mistake because the quality of the drinks here was really poor. The ingredients tasted a little off, almost old, and the boba was overcooked and liquidy. I would not recommend this spot especially if youve never had kung fu tea before. Located at the Garden State Plaza on the lower level outside of Express. There was a pretty long line so I guess it's popular. We figured t must be good and decided to give it a try. We were actually looking for Gong Cha but couldn't find it. We did afterwards unfortunately. My bubble tea from Kung Fu Tea was just okay. I've been to one in K-Town and the tea was just better. Not sure what it was but the tapioca here was flavorless and way too soft. Not chewy or firm enough. I ordered the peach oolong and it was just a tad too sweet. I just really didn't like the tapioca. A really disappointing Kung Fu Tea location. It's still super busy, but the quality is very poor. The bubbles are over cooked and so soft, not like the usual Kung Fu standard. The tea is a little high in tannins and overly sweet for the sugar level you order. I'd recommend skipping this Kung Fu location, although the staff were friendly. read more

My favorite boba place! I was fortunate enough to stop by here after a long day of shopping and was pleasantly surprised. My mom loves their taro boba and I always get the mango with boba, but wanted something with milk, the tea maker - her name was Jezarae (and Gizelle and another young lady- they're all so wonderful and friendly) sugguested I taste the mango slush. I'm surprised they have such a low score. The staff has always been super friendly and upbeat. They're talkative and engaging. Any time I've ever had an issue (someone accidentally taking my drink) they've never hesitated to replace it. Also, for those that are lactose intolerant, they're bubble tea milks are made with lactaid, so those tummies need not worry! dont understand why this kft has such bad ratings. besides the fact that the line can get kinda long on weekends (what do you expect tho, really... everyone's craving for bubble tea and they are already making it their fastest) -- i love this KFT! its way better than some of the other ones i've been to around the country. i always get a large green tea no milk + bubbles + nata jelly and they always do me right here! for newbies: bubbles are those black balls that are chewy that you drink and chew. and jellies are similar but imagine little bits of jello but a bit harder. you can customize your drink with less ice, less sugar, or more ice or more sugar. they even do hot drinks here with boba (for those cold frozen days we've been getting thus far in nj this winter). they have almost unlimited drink combos! so take a good look at their extensive menu before ordering. i usually come prior to shopping so i can walk around and sip on my drink. and then sometimes i'll get another one before i leave so i can have it later in the night or the next day PROTIP: get the stamp card. buy 10 get 1 free! PROTIP2: stamp card does not work at other KFTs PROTIP3: if you're getting one to go, do not add bubbles if you're planning on drinking the next day. bubbles dont last well overnight yes, it is run by high schoolers generally and yes sometimes they crank up their music real loud and rap to it, but thats what makes it fun! if youre getting any type of food from a mall stall, its unspoken that you're gonna have to wait. read more

I can understand why this Kung Fu Tea has poor reviews. First and foremost, the mall kiosk is run by what they appear to be teenagers. At times they seem to be clueless about what they serve (I once overheard one employee ask the other what matcha is) and others they just aren't as observed as they should be (or perhaps maybe they're too shy?) since often times I'm stuck waiting around for someone to take my order. During my last visit, the girl employee took my cash payment, literally closed the cash register and THEN asked whether I wanted my 6 cent change. No, I guess I didn't want the burden of carrying one nickel and penny in my wallet. Thanks. Still, I keep coming back because I thoroughly enjoy their passion fruit green tea. For one thing, the line is always super long whenever I pass by, so I figured it'd be amazeballs. I came on a weekday evening when it wasn't as packed & decided to try it out. When I get bubble tea from places I haven't tried before, I always try taro & some type of fruit drink to judge how I like the spot since they're my favorites & also pretty basic. My sister got the oreo (which btw I would've never even thought of getting) & I got the taro to try it out. I think the oreo tasted a bit grainy but I tried to justify it because of the oreo pieces? idk. Also the taro also tasted a bit powdery much like a protein shake or something which personally I'm also not a fan of. Being a huge bubble tea person my passing standard for the drinks are not high at all, but this place is for sure lying at the bottom. I gave them chances twice. The first the girl making my bubble tea, who was also the register that just handled a credit card and didn't wash hands before she proceeded to make the drink, sneezed while my drink is getting sealed in the machine. I judge all bubble tea on the standard milk green tea bubble tea, and this is the worst bubble tea I've ever had. First of all, my drink was basically all milk, there was barely any green tea flavor in it. Second of all, the girl forgot to put bubbles in my drink, I had to walk all the way back just so she could add them. Third, when I was handed back my drink, there was some that spilled on the outside when she was adding the bubbles in, so my palms got sticky.
