    Hot Taro Milk Tea
    Laura E.

Solid boba spot in Maple Grove. We just finished shopping at World Market and Trader Joe's and wanted a warm beverages. They have a variety of different types of drinks on the wall and we loved the colors on the menu as well as the shop itself. We got taro and coconut milk teas, both hot. I initially wanted a hot caramel milk tea but the person who took my order said the lowest sugar level they could do was 70%. While it's common for boba shops to have drinks that can't be customized, yesterday was the first time I was told I can't do a drink that CAN be customized at 50% sweet. Fortunately the taro milk tea was a great alternative as I could definitely taste the taro flavor. The person who brought us our drink came back 2 mins later to let me know he made the drink wrong and needed to fix it. Though I couldn't tell as a first time customer, I appreciated that he corrected his mistake. The shop got busier after we came in and our drinks took a while to make. I don't live in the area so I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but would definitely go back if I happened to be in the area. I hope to try their cold drinks when the weather warms up!

Kung Fu Tea (KFT) is a great addition to the Arbor Lakes area. When I lived in the area, I would make frequent stops as KFT is one of my favorite spots to get boba. Their is so much variety in their drink selection and they have one of the best tapioca pearls everrrr! I love getting their refreshing slushies and their milk teas are always incredible. They also have drinks with a lactaid base if anyone has dairy allergies! The drinks are pretty customizable so have fun with it! My go-to is always the Kung Fu Milk Tea with boba, the green grape slushi with jelly, or a lychee punch! They also have coffee drinks available too if you're looking for coffee options, but I always urge folks to try something new! Ordering time here is typically average - if it's busy, it'll probably take 5-8 minutes to get your order! Otherwise, if you're in a hurry, I believe you can also order via app and pick it up. Their rewards program is also great if you're a frequent customer!

I've come here three times with my daughter she loves it. Moving from LOs Angeles we had tea shops and snack shops everywhere but they are much fewer to be found in the suburbs I love iced green tea with boba and my daughter likes the sweeter drinks like Oreo slush. You can order in a couple of sizes ranging from 4-7$ the the menus are giant screens with a lot of choices but they all center on 2 or three primary tea options. There are a few small tables but it's a majority carry out!

We placed an order online and have no complaints! The drink was awesome, and so was the service.

This location in Maple Grove is right along the shopping strip at the far end side where Express is. Their menu is customizable with the ability to choose your pickings, sugar level and ice level!! They have drinks from the classic tea, milk teas, fruit teas, slushies and more. Good variety of toppings to choose from including bubbles, classic boba, milk cap, beans and jellies. Lots to choose from, I suggest looking at their menu online first. I always felt like their menu is so overwhelming with so many variations but on this day I knew exactly what I wanted ha! I got the Matcha Milk Cap with the Crystal boba. I've always love the thick layer of subtly salty milk or also known as "cheese foam" from other places. Asked for less ice because I don't like my boba watered down while I take my time to sip it. Although there was quite a crowd when I got there, drinks came out quick! Really liked the wall designs at this location. There was a good amount of seating along the side. Great for hanging around or catching up with friends. Can be a bit noisy. But for this trip, it was a quick in and out for bobas. Plenty of parking all around the mall strip or large parking lot at the end of behind.

I have been to kung fu tea in many places all over the USA. This place is the prettiest by far and the cleanest. Relatively easy parking and the seat outside during winter is full of Christmas lights and very happy just being here makes your heart warm up. My wife and I ordered the audio slush because we had it before at the downtown Minneapolis location next to the U of M. We noticed that the Oreo cookie was crushed almost into powder so when i drink it here I don't taste it and I do not break it between my teeth, so he takes all the fun and diminishes the taste of the Oreo. I will definitely come back here but probably before I do I'm gonna go to the downtown location U of M, and have a video made of their how they make it there and come show it to them here and force them to make it like this before I purchase a second time here. And I forgot to mention that it was not extremely sweet I'd like some of the Kitcat chocolates you buy nowadays is so sugary you don't even taste the wafer or the chocolate in it. Disclosure : my taste buds took part into writing this Yelp review.

Cute place, love the artwork and the tea. I've tried a bunch now. Most are very sweet unless you order it less sweet, so do that if you aren't a sugar addict. I personally dislike super sweet drinks a lot, so that's why I say this.

Glad they have the maple grove location! Good quality and slightly lower price compared to other Boba tea stores around!

huge ice cubes. a few sips and it was gone. I hate it when they overload ice and there is not much beverage to fill in around the ice.

Honestly, the whole experience was disappointing. I would encourage any reader to stop and check…read moreout Uffda Donuts instead (right next door) for any sweet treats. I called late Monday morning to set up a Wednesday 7am pick‑up because I needed breakfast for a Leadership training event. I live closer to Maple Grove, which is why I ordered from that location, but since I was commuting to Burnsville, the timing was really important. The woman who took my order didn't write everything down, so the store called me Tuesday. No big deal. I was actually glad they double‑checked. But that's when I found out the online menu doesn't match what they actually sell. I wanted two dozen rolls, half cinnamon and half caramel. Turns out caramel rolls with nuts are still listed online but aren't even available anymore. Whatever. I adjusted. When I showed up Wednesday at 7am, the woman at the counter clearly knew I was the one picking up the big order. They weren't busy, but she started running around like she had no idea what was going on. She told me the rolls had *just* come out of the oven and she needed to figure out how to package them. It was already past my pick‑up time. She apologized, but I was frustrated. I asked how long it would be, and she said five minutes. I didn't walk out until after 7:15. If you commute, you know how much that throws off your whole morning. And then... the cinnamon rolls weren't even frosted. The presentation was honestly pretty sad. When I asked about the frosting, she hesitated and then proceeded to go in the back to fill a cup of their icing. I won't be using GHBC for corporate events again. The rolls tasted fine, but nothing special, definitely not worth the hassle.

Service was quick for ordering, and…read moresandwiches took a bit more time because they're made when ordered and several were ahead of my order. Ambiance is basic bread shop, quarters were a bit tight, but not awful. This store has a walkthrough to Uff-Da Donuts too. I ordered a Garlicky Cubano $13.50 and Baja Chipotle Turkey $13.50. Both were underwhelming. Lacking flavor, really soft almost wonder bread style bread. Will not be ordering sandwiches here again.

We took our shoes and jackets off at the front, and then went to go check-in. I was asked if I had ever been there before, which I said no and then I scanned a QR code to sign the waiver for my kiddos. I would say overall, this was a pretty fun experience. You are given two hours to play for admission. I think the admission is pretty expensive, especially for babies. My 7-year old had a fun time, though. She enjoyed playing in the different areas. She ended up getting a mini scoop of ice cream, which was about $6. I would have gotten coffee, but I think the food prices were pretty expensive. Overall, I think one and done for us. We enjoyed the experience, but I took two stars off for how bare it was and for the expensive prices.

Just some soft mats on the floor with a few baby toys scattered around. The cashier was very friendly and answered my questions. This place could have had a lot of potential. Hopefully they can stay in business with a new concept that would better serve customers needs. They are having a discounted sale on the toys and onesies they have for sale. I did not try the cafe drinks this time but perhaps before they close this month I can.
