They sell coffee beans, teas, accessories for the tea, mugs, cards, etc. My barista was nice, she made my coffee with a little heart on top of the froth. It looked good on the menu. $14.99 is par for the course now for a noodle bowl. I had to order from the kiosk, but the receipt spit out on the other side of the counter. I had to go and ask for it. There was one guy working the kitchen and the counter, while there was another lady on the bubble tea side. I thought that was strange as it all looked like one business. I started to notice that the people standing around were all waiting for food. Well it took 20 minutes for my noodle to appear. So much for a quick lunch. Apparently because of their receipt print out not being available, there was another customer who mistook my Khao Poo with his. Well I showed him my receipt and he backed off. (Pro tip: get your receipt!!!) The noodle bowl looked very appetizing. I was excited. After taking the photo though, I dug into it and discovered that the noodles were in a clump, like they were just taken out of the fridge and poured the broth on top without stirring it. Well cold noodles with not boiling broth makes for a lukewarm bowl of noodles. I asked for pig's blood, which I paid extra for and were absent. The rice noodles were overcooked and they started to fall apart in earnest. However, the bowl had a lot of flavor. But the execution and temperature were not on point. Their saving grace was a surprise. Since there wasn't much protein in the noodle bowl, I was still hungry. I went and ordered a Durian Smoothie. The lady confirmed that it was real fruit in the smoothie. Well they were really proud of it: $8.95 for a smoothie!! Well I didn't care. I cannot remember the last time I had a real durian smoothie with real durian. When it came, OMG!! This was insane. I had died and gone to heaven. We would bring our Hmong family here when they visit. I love the display of Hmong art, crafts and tools. Unfortunately, service has always been slow even on a weekday. I'm unsure why since workers do come around and check in. I've had their pho, laab, papaya salad, chicken wings etc. It's not memorable but it's Hmong food. Hoping they bring back waitressing for serving utensils, and dinnerware rather than having customers fetch their own water, foam plates or plastic ones. It's not appropriate to bring extended family here anymore when we have to tell them to get their own utensils and pho veggies from their service area. We prefer Pho 126 for large family dining or Boba & Tea Deli for Hmong food.
