They have a great selection of milk teas and regular tea. It was hard to choose which tea I wanted, but my daughter chose milk tea and I chose green tea. Yum! My only regret was getting a medium versus a large I wanted to try their cook bowl. I chose steak with sushi rice, lettuce, carrots, corn, cabbage and cucumbers. I chose to get the yum yum sauce on the side. They gave ample sauce. My bowl also came is Miso soup. It was very flavorful. You order at the counter and can wait at one of the tables. Drinks are brought out fairly quickly. You have to wait a bit for your food. I noticed they had the ability to do online ordering. So if you can plan ahead, I recommend it. They have branded canned drinks and popcorn near the register. I'm looking forward to stopping by again.

I have been looking for a place that has good Taro tea and I believe this is it. I've tried several places here since coming from Texas and they have all been disappointing but this one has been consistently good! They also have food items, which I have honestly not tried because I'm usually just looking for a drink. The atmosphere is very laidback and casual and very open. The service is also quick even though there are just a two or three people taking orders, making the tea and prepping the food. Definitely give them a try! I'll try out the food next time and hopefully will be just as happy

We ordered food from Ninja Cafe, which is I think in the same store as the bubble tea place. Though I haven't tried their tea yet, their was really good. We ordered a poke bowl and a sushi burrito. Both came with miso soup, and it was yum. The meals were really filling and tasty, and I would definitely order from here again.

I always have a great time, what can I say. They are great. I tried their sushi burrito this time and it was delicious. They can get pretty busy, but plenty of seating to wait or you can get a sub at the firehouse subs nearby lol. It's what we do sometimes. You can never go wrong with their drinks here. They are all unique and flavorful. 10/10 keep it up kft!

Went with a group to Kung Fu Tea up in PA last week (hubs, me, a college friend, 6 kids) and was delighted to learn from their app that we have one about 20min from our home as well! So off to High Point we go. I love a taro bubble tea, but with this newfound convenience and vast assortment I may have to work my way thru the menu and try everything. The posters alone, and there are many, tempt me in many different directions! It seems like the different locations have different food assortments, and High Point's has sushi, sushi burritos, and poke bowls. Hubs & I each got a sushi burrito, which comes with a free miso soup (as does a pair of sushi rolls); we both liked ours but next time I'll get sushi rolls. In my case that's just a matter of ingredient ratios, like Reese's pb eggs vs pb cups. Caveat: the drinks seem to be on the Kung Fu Tea side of things and the food on the Ninja Cafe side; to get app credit on the drinks we had to pay separately. The one thing I reached out to the Kung Fu Tea app with feedback on is that the High Point store doesn't let you order thru the app like you could in the Media PA (and presumably other) location. This isn't something the store can change; I asked about it even the manager acknowledged it was inconvenient for guests and for them.

While the poke was excellent the music being played will keep us away. Rap music with the N word and other words that would get my review blocked! Seriously, we looked around when we entered at 12:30 on Sunday and were wondering why the place wasn't jumping with the after church crowd, and we had our answer in about ten seconds. We'll be back for carry out, because the food was great, but seriously, the music is obnoxious.

Kung Fu Tea has the CHOPS to carve itself out a nice little niche in this area of High Point where options for sushi can be a little limited and boba tea options are practically non-existent. This space used to be Marozzi's Pizza, and is now occupied by the dual named Kung Fu Tea and Ninja Cafe. It's the same place, but both signs being there is a little confusing until you walk in. I ordered a poke bowl with tuna and salmon and a whole host of veggie toppings and sauces, as well as the rare to find Takoyaki, which is like hushpuppies but with octopus inside. I also got a tea drink to go, but damn if I can remember what was in it. It was a little sweet for my liking, if I went again, I would definitely have them tone down the sugar content. The poke bowl tasted fresh and I liked all the sauces they gave me. I don't have many baselines for the Takoyaki, but it was as good as other versions I have had. Overall, I wasn't blown away or anything, but I would go back and give it a try another time.

NOTE: Ninja Cafe and Kung Fu Tea are co-located. This review will cover the latter, a bubble tea franchise. A rare commodity elsewhere, bubble tea is hard to avoid in High Point. Even so, Kung Fu Tea sets itself apart by offering a nearly overwhelming number of options. You can choose from classic, fruit, and milk teas and customize them (size, hot or cold, sweetness levels, bubble toppings, etc.) to the hilt. Throw in some intriguing seasonal options (strawberry cream, brown sugar, and rosehip pineapple in addition to the requisite pumpkin), and it's hard to NOT find something here. Of course, some trial and error may be involved in arriving at a favorite. We went with a rosehip pineapple tea during our most recent visit. It was sweeter than expected, but the pineapple's acidity tempered that somewhat, and the tapioca bubbles are quality. The staff here have never been anything but polite, and pricing ($3-4.50 for most of the teas and a bit more for slushes) is fair. Anyone in search of a refreshing beverage near the Palladium shouldn't sleep on this place.

I had to do a double-take when I saw a Kung Fu Tea had opened in my hometown of High Point. At the time of writing this, there are four locations in North Carolina: two in Charlotte, one in Cary (Triangle), and this one in High Point. Why High Point? That said, a lot of good stuff has opened in recent years along this stretch of Wendover from High Point to Greenboro. You can find this Kung Fu Tea attached to a Ninja Cafe (same business) in the popular Palladium Shopping Center. I asked the cashier when they opened and she said last summer (2019). In short, Kung Fu Tea sells drinks and Ninja Cafe sells food. Kung Fu Tea sells over 60 kinds of drinks from popular Taiwanese milk teas to punches. They come in two sizes, medium (16 ounces) and large (20 ounces). During our visit, medium drinks were priced at $3.00-5.25 each and large drinks were priced at $3.75-$6.75 each. Toppings cost extra. Standard toppings, of which they offer over a half-dozen varieties (e.g. bubbles, red bean, pudding), cost $0.50 each. Premium toppings, like aloe and fig jelly and popping bubbles, cost $0.75 each and milk caps cost $1.00 each. Ninja Cafe was selling $11 poke bowls and $8 "cook bowls" containing cooked food. You customize the bowls yourself, selecting from different types of rice, protein, veggies, toppings, and sauces. In addition, Ninja Cafe features sushi burritos (priced at $9-11 each during our visit), a fairly limited selection of sushi rolls (about $4-14 each), and Japanese apps such as gyoza and takoyaki ($5 each). I'm happy to report this Kung Fu Tea in High Point is solid. I've been to some good ones and I've been to some bad ones; the former is usually the case though. Here's what we got on our first visit to this location (we'll be back), all in size medium. * Yogurt Orange Juice with bubbles, 30% sweet ($5.25) * Taro Slush with bubbles, 30% sweet ($5.15) * Lychee Black Tea with herbal jelly, 50% sweet ($4.45) * Winter Melon Milk Green Tea with bubbles, 50% sweet ($4.35) I wasn't a fan of the Yogurt Orange Juice, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of the other drinks. I don't think there was anything wrong with the Yogurt Orange Juice; I just wasn't in the mood for it at the time. My wife really liked it. Kung Fu Tea's yogurt drinks are made with Yakult, a well-known Japanese sweet probiotic milk. Kung Fu Tea combines it with what I think is real fruit juice, so the Yogurt Orange Juice tasted exactly how it sounds, like fresh-squeezed OJ mixed with Yakult. If you like OJ, then go for it. The Taro Slush, Lychee Black Tea, and Winter Melon Milk Green Tea were all terrific. The Taro Slush was my favorite. It tasted like a dessert. Even at 30% sweet, the drink was still plenty sweet. If you're a fan of Taro Milk Tea and have never tried the Taro Slush before, it's worth trying. The flavor profile is almost exactly the same except there is no milk and more ice, so it's less creamy and more icy. However, the Slush still has a really appetizing and smooth consistency which I like. My best description for the Taro Slush is it's like drinking a delectable, sweet, icy pudding. The Lychee Black Tea is sweetened by lychee and lychee alone, so it's not practical to order this drink at anything below 50% sweet since all they do to reduce the sugar level is to put less lychee in the drink (then you start defeating the purpose of ordering "Lychee Black Tea"). This drink was also subtly sweetened by the herbal jelly (grass jelly) topping which we added on. Relatively speaking, this was a fairly "light" sweet tea with a little bit of tanginess from the bits of tasty lychee. The herbal jelly was delicious and it's one of my top three favorite toppings to get. The Winter Melon Milk Green Tea was on point. If you're a fan of milk teas and want to try something different, I recommend it. Not everyone is a fan of winter melon tea because of the uniquely sweet aftertaste it can leave in the back of your mouth, but some people love it. The syrupy sweetness and aftertaste isn't as pronounced in the MGT (milk green tea) version. At 50% sweet, I found this drink to be pleasantly sweet with pretty much the right balance of tea, milk, and ice. As for the bubbles, they've got the amazing Kung Fu Tea tapioca recipe on lock here. The bubbles we got were wonderfully sweet and appetizingly chewy. They were fresh with excellent taste and consistency. I can't believe this exists in High Point. Thank you to the franchisees who brought it here. Service was great. We had no issues. However, there is one thing we don't like about this location in particular: You can't use the Kung Fu Tea app to order ahead. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, plexiglass was installed around the counter and dining room seating was very limited. They had only four two-person tables for indoor dining plus a couple tables to wait at for takeout orders. This Kung Fu Tea has no outdoor seating and I don't think I've ever been to a location that has had it.

I was craving sushi something fierce, and Ninja Cafe/Kung Fu Tea did not disappoint. I ordered a poke bowl, and it was outstanding. I'm already craving it again and want to go back. I ordered the spicy tuna and spicy salmon, and though it wasn't super spicy, there was a small heat to it. It probably would have been spicier if I had topped it with spicy mayo, but I opted for yum yum sauce and poke sauce instead, which were both great additions. I love that I can customize my order, so I can try new things or different combinations. My hubby ordered the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls, and said both were really good and had nice kicks to them. As an added bonus, both of our meals came with miso soup, which was really good. Great portions for everything--I got two servings from my poke bowl--, reasonably priced, quick, and they followed COVID protocols, which is always a win in my book. We didn't order drinks, but we will have to check them out another time (which I'm sure will be soon).

Came here today and, ultimately, terrible service. First, no one greeted us as we went inside and there were no customers. That was very disappointing. Second, not all of the workers preparing our drinks were wearing masks. Only 1 out of 4 workers was wearing one. Third, a guy worker literally sneezed on the floor without covering his sneeze. That was appalling to see as he continued to make our drinks. Lastly, we waited too long for our orders to be fulfilled. Major improvements need to be made in customer service as well as what is expected during COVID times. This was an overall bad experience and I hope this review shines light on that.

I was really impressed this visit to Greensboro especially when i see they opened this location . I visit twice a year and my daughter was in shock when she saw it.we have several Kung Fu teas at home in Jersey and definitely took me by surprise. I hope it sticks around i know its a hit or miss with some people . It's definitely something worth trying if you haven't. I recommend the mango green tea or the lychee punch with jelly for first timers . The service was a tad slow after we ordered but sometimes expected especially if a lot of orders before you. read more

If I could rate this restaurant 0 stars I would. They are lucky to get even one... the girls at the register are rude and had no personality. The food quality and taste was bland & I ended up in the bathroom twice after. I'm from CA and love sushi...this was a very big disappointment. The boba I ordered made me question if the milk went bad. It was awful I couldn't even drink it. The flavor made me want to drive all the way back 20 minutes to get a refund...my only regret is not doing that. I won't be returning and I'd think twice before eating here read more

I was passing by and saw 2 new store front signs beside Firehouse Subs, Ninja Cafe and Kung Fu Tea side by side, the name drew me in like a moth to a flame. So they are 2 different things, but operate as one, they have one entrance and have one ordering counter. Kung Fu Tea is apparently a chain of bubble tea shops that serve boba and other beverages with locations scattered about, this one just happens to incorporate a cafe that serves Poke Bowls, Cooked Bowls and Sushi Burritos. This was my first ever bubble tea, never had it before, I ordered a Coconut Milk Tea with bubbles, it was good to me, I don't really have any other bubble tea experiences to compare it to. I aslo tried the Orange Green Tea, which was very good also. Only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 for my visit was they didn't have the seasonal item that was on their menu that I was going to order, they said they hope to have it available soon. Very friendly folks behind the counter, they just opened so I know they are still getting things in order here, I will come back and try some food now that I know how they roll. read more

I have been to this place several times over the last few years, mostly during the pandemic and then recently after. The place was much nicer during the pandemic than now. It lost some of its charm, atmosphere and photo spots. Looks a bit outdated and less sparkly and clean compared to a few years back. The drinks were nice as ever. Didn't try the food but it smells great as usual. Service is good not great, specially when it comes to use the Kung fu tea app and Apple wallet features. Their system couldn't pick up on the scan code on the Apple wallet, not even employees could figure out how to use the app code, sadly I wasn't allowed to use available credit on gift card nor was able to use Apple Pay. This app issued were a problem even time ago, wish they had improved the system by now. Hopefully they will rearrange the establishment and bring back some its charm. I also think they had a K pop music event coming up, hopefully it brings many people back to the place. read more

Just be careful the prices you see on the list and menus is different from the prices that you pay for! I bought a Medium Chai Tea (with no toppings) thinking I am going to pay $4.45. When I saw a copy of the receipt I was charged for $5.25. I asked the cashier about the differences in the price and her response was "price increase!" It seems like they assume the price increase has no effects on customers and they don't care to let customers know unless you ask...I probably won't go back there just because of this reason. read more

{Just like to point out, this review is for whichever establishment is serving the poke bowl- either ninja cafe/ kung fu tea} These people don't know how to follow instructions. First time I ordered, I asked for avocado on the side,and they embedded it into my bowl. Fine. Second time I ordered, I had it scheduled for a later time since I still had to drive to them from work, and they did not a knowledge that request either. By this time I was already pretty pissed but FINE. Again, not a big deal, I can eat semi cold food just cause I was starving. THIRD TIME I placed an order at this place, I made sure to go inside the restaurant myself cause these people just aren't that good with understanding simple things. I out my order in and what should've taken 40 seconds it took around 5 mins cause cashier could not understand what they I was ordering. Let that slide again. My order was the TWO SCOOP BOWL AND I PAID AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR EXTRA PROTEIN. For a bowl that almost cost $20, I got a bowl full of crap. Avocado was just a table spoon at most (had to buy extra avocados from the grocery cause they're that stingy) and the three scoops I of salmon I paid for was barely enough for half the rice in the damn bowl! Amount of the fish was just 1/4 cup at best (1/2 if I'm being generous), so how much exactly is 1 scoop? A TEASPOON????? They usually don't give this little so I was extremely surprised that my order was this lackluster. Drove out of the way from downtown to go to this place because I knew that they were generous with their servings, but apparently that's all changed. It also took them a millennium to make a bowl that had raw fish in it. It shouldn't take 60 seconds to scoop everything in but I was there waiting for 15 minutes! Not worth it to be honest. Will be going to the poke place in downtown from now on. This place is a joke. Taste of the fish isn't even consistent. There will be times when it really doesn't taste fresh, and rice is ALWAYS crumbly and room temp. Horribly disgusting. That was definitely the last time I'll ever buy from there. read more

I seriously can't wait to eat here again! My fiancé and I both ordered Poke Bowls and we had an additional roll. It was delicious, and we ate every single bite! The place is clean, and the chefs made our orders quickly. Everything was right with the order and it was so fresh. The parking lot was full when we arrived and the place never emptied. It seems as though this may be a bit of a well kept secret hidden in the Palladium complex, but I would recommend it to anyone! read more

First time eating here and first time I've ever had a Poke Bowl. It was excellent! I let them know it was my first visit and they were very helpful. Everything appears to be fresh and presentation is perfect. I got sushi rice, spicy tuna, scallion, carrot, avocado, tempura flake, and sesame seed. Eel sauce and honey wasabi sauce on the side. I highly recommend both of these sauces for this particular bowl. Subbed avocado salad for the miso soup (extra $1.50). With the avocado salad, it's enough food for two people with modest appetites. read more

Whenever I feel like something new theres a selection of slush and milkteas To choose from. Menu was overwhelming when I first came but there was menues all over so you can step aside without holding up the line. Theres also plenty of pictures of drinks if you can decide on what delicious combinations of drink and toppings to concoct. The food is really good light and fresh I always get a spicy tuna burito. read more

I'm so happy to have a good bubble tea shop in the Triad. My favorite drink is the passionfruit green tea (50% sweetness) with boba and aloe. Their drinks are overall good, but the boba isn't consistent. My most recent visit, the boba was tough and hard to chew. read more

Hands down the best boba place in the area. Compared to nearby boba places, this one has the best quality boba balls plus it's cheaper! The staff is really nice and they allow dogs as long as they are well behaved. I lovveeeee their Winter melon Milkcap and their boba is always fresh. Food is pretty good there as well, I usually opt for the Takoyaki as a little snack. If you haven't been yet definitely check this place out! read more

Be prepared to wait. I ordered just a tea, and I waited 20 minutes for it. This location also serves food, which maybe impacts speed of service. The quality of the drink was ok, but not as good as a few other local places, and it was more expensive. Also the straws are tiny--which isn't great for boba. If they had wider straws available, I didn't see them. (They had 2 jars of straws on the counter which are the same color and not labeled, so maybe I just grabbed the wrong one.) It's a good location if you're running errands or in the Wendover area, but just a few miles away is the Tea Time Lounge, which is faster, better quality, and a little bit cheaper. read more

This is the Juice Shop of Asian cuisine. The drinks are bomb but the food was good (and I'll never eat it again.) My friends and I felt queasy after eating there. The Miso is delish. I had the Taro Milk Tea, and I loved every drop! My fruends had the Sushi Burritos and Poke bowl. read more

Definitely room for improvement, but it's the best boba in Greensboro. It's a little confusing when you get there, but essentially you just enter through the ninja cafe door. I got the cocoa cream wow, and the milk tea (with boba) in the buy one get one sale. So the prices are standard for KFT, but still expensive. So the Cocoa cream is so good, but also very sweet. And it's also gorgeous. But definitely shake/stir well before you drink it, otherwise you get pockets of too sweet sugar syrup. Also, I don't know who might think this, but the milk part is literally like whole milk/cream, which no tea flavor. The cold milk is a great contrast to the sweet sugar part. The milk tea is classic, and it's not too sweet or bitter. I don't know if this location does it, but ask for less ice! Also the boba is pretty soft all the way through, and while I prefer a slightly more chewy core, but it's still good. The service is fine, and not too slow. KFT is not comparable at all to any other boba places. Boba house is honestly pretty bad, bubbleful tea isn't great, master tea isn't that good (but still fine), the mall boba is pretty bad, etc. so if you think you like boba but that's all you've tried, you'll love this. read more

I don't know why it took them so long to take an order? I waited for 20 minutes for two simple tea. The girl in the store was dusting when she makes the tea. I ordered the same item as last time, but every time it's different. Sometimes comes with popping pear something don't. I am very confused. I am done to give this store any more chance. It's hard to find good bubble tea around the area, but this place fills the void. This place has a large variety of bubble teas to choose from. If it's not bubble teas you're after, they also offer a variety of foods ranging from sushis, poke bowls and small appetizers. Unfortunately, they do not use real fruit for their bubble teas, but to be fair, I have yet to come across one here in the triad. Also, we ordered 2 taro's with one being 100 percent sweet and the other at 50 percent. And I have to say, that after we taste tested each one, both tasted the same. There was also no consistency of texture from the boba as each drink felt very different. One was very tough and another one was too soft. Service was helpful and prompt, as expected. And because of Covid, they do not allow indoor seating. Overall, this place isn't too bad. I'd like to revisit this place whenever we come back to visit. read more

Loveeee this place! Just left from having lunch here with my mom and we enjoyed every bit of it. She ordered a Cook Bowl and I ordered a Sushi Burrito. I came in wanting a caramel mocha, then saw she had raspberry, then she mentioned she also had mint and banana, so I finally decided on a banana mocha. It was delicious! My friend told her to freestyle something with caramel and Claudia made her a caramel affogato. Her ice cubes are coffee so iced drinks don't get watered down! I'll have to grab an iced drink next time! The inside is painted black and is so cute! We love admiring the decor as Claudia prepared our beverages! If you haven't been yet, stop by! Make sure to ask for all the current syrups as the menu doesn't list them all! We'll be back soon!!!

Upon my advent towards this establishment known as Kung Fu Tea located at 5815 Samar Dr are 111-113, High Point, NC 27265 I was unhinged to be met with staff who lack proper training, are appalling, barbaric, horrid, obnoxious, nauseating, sluggish, and undervalue their jobs to the point where they don't care about customer satisfaction, I mean... the list goes on!! When I entered into this so-called establishment I came to discover that some of the "workers" if it's even comprehensible to fathom the thought. Were in fact not working, but sitting under the counter uninvolved in their responsibilities, not only were they rude, but they weren't wearing ANY masks. I am indisputably bewildered at the fact that this establishment permits them to do this!! Only one of the numerous staff members actually worked. Due to this fact I was forced to wait over an hour to receive my purchases as they denied me a refund, and because one worker had to micro manage every order by themselves my boba was over cooked. Not. Even. Worth. The. Wait. I will NEVER come to this "establishment" again, and recommend my countless associates to do the same. read more

I absolutely loved Kung Fu Tea! It was fantastic to discover a business from New York, especially since I'm originally from there. The variety of options available was impressive! I ultimately chose the sesame matcha, which had a wonderfully warming, earthy flavor. I truly enjoyed it, and you could really taste the high quality of the matcha. They also offered ramen, which we didn't try this time, but I'm definitely looking forward to sampling it on my next visit! The interior was charming, complete with plenty of board games and even a PS5 for some gaming fun! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to return soon! read more

Kung Fu Tea is like a treasure waiting to be discovered! Their boba tea, bursting with flavors from freshly brewed tea leaves, to their mouth-watering ramen, cooked just right - they've nailed it. They open at 11 everyday, but everything is not ready. I showed up twice, and they said boba is not ready and had to wait 20-25 minutes. Why you open and nothing is ready? Suck! read more
