In all fairness, it's been several months since I went to Pika Tea the last time, and looking at other reviews. I cannot say for sure whether it was under new ownership at that time or not. That said, I remember enjoying my beverage, a half sweet mocha milk tea with some nice slightly chewy boba, and an order of their popcorn chicken with sweet chili sauce. The mocha was just right for me at half sweet, as I usually find most of these drinks overpowering in their sugar levels. The popcorn chicken had a crispy outside, tender inside. Just what you want. The space inside is an interesting mix of decor as others have pointed out, and really, that suits it. If you want to take photos for your socials you have a lot of choices. If you want a work area with more rigid seating and a table, they have it. If you want more comfortable lounge seating, they have some of that too. It can't hold a ton of people, but for what people look for in their boba and tea places, this seems to fit it. I'll admit, my boba travels aren't extensive! This isn't my absolute favorite place for a fruit or milk tea in Greensboro, but it's definitely the closest to where I live making it more likely for an impulse snack. read more

My friend and I were across the street and noticed the Pika sign. I said hmmm instead of chatting in the parking lot, want to chat there? Great decision! We were so impressed by the interior decor. How cute!!! The staff were so nice and were patient while I decided on my drink. I chose the peach tea lemonade with peach pops. Delicious! The pops were so good in the drink. Another wonderful experience recently at Pika Tea. We had been craving some Boba Tea recently and stopped by one weekend afternoon. Have to commend the service as it was very busy the entire time we were there but everyone was nice and quick as well! I opted for the Tiramisu Milk Tea this time and OMG I think I found my new go to! It was so creamy and smooth and the perfect sweetness! Literally sipping as I type this. Usually I wait a few times to review a place but this place is just soooooo good! The inside is amazing. Such cool atmosphere. REALLY friendly and helpful service. Clean space! The tea we got was refreshing and fresh and tasted so good. I got a green jasmine tea with lychee poppers slightly sweet, my husband got a peach green tea with crystal boba... Pika Tea is located in a plaza on Stanley road. This location would've been easily missed by myself on a normal day passing. The weather was nice and I was open to indulging in something new. I was accompanied by family. We chose to sit in while enjoying our beverages of choice. My niece and I chose the mango strawberry rose tea. My sister ordered a mango tea with some other flavor I can't recall. You are also able to add toppings, however I did not. We weren't sure what we wanted as this was our first visit here. The staff allowed us to take our time in viewing the options. Our selections were light and refreshing. My niece even managed to finish off the fresh strawberries and lemons that made a home in the bottom of her cup. In addition to the fresh fruit, there was a nice garnish of fresh mint to top the tea. The space is not large but spacious enough, with a few tables and benches for seating. There's some pretty cool art throughout the space. INTRO: This is one of the boba tea cafes in Greensboro! As boba tea is becoming more and more well-known, there needs to be things that set each boba tea cafe apart from each other. For Pika Tea, this happens to be their cute venue with a plethora of amazing backdrops that are picture-worthy and their extensive menu of drinks. I've been meaning to try this place out for a while, so I'm glad that I finally had a chance to visit them! DRINK 1: Black Sesame Milk Tea - I really wanted to like this drink because Boba Baba has an AMAZING black sesame milk tea drink but their location is 1.5 hours away from me. Unfortunately, Pika Tea's black sesame milk tea did not hit the spot. Their drink was too watered down, and the black sesame flavor was quite faint. If their black sesame flavor was more pronounced, I think I would've enjoyed the drink more. (5/10) DRINK 2: Tiramisu Cheese Foam - This was definitely the better drink out of the 2 boba teas that I ordered! I wanted to try this drink because it seemed unique and special to Pika Tea, and I'm glad I got it. Their tiramisu flavor was strong and didn't feel watered down whatsoever. Make sure to mix the drink well so that all of the flavors are balanced. VENUE: There is so much seating inside the cafe and plenty of backgrounds for you to choose from! Glad we found this place passing through town!! We were craving tea and wanted a satisfying snack on our drive back to Virginia. Luckily Pika Tea was open and it did NOT disappoint. 1. We got earl grey milk tea and jasmine green tea milk tea with boba. Absolutely delicious ! And the boba was perfect and silky ! 2. MUST TRY! The staff are so engaging, helpful, accommodating, and patient. They helped my friend and I work through their menu when trying to decide what to order. I decided to get a Sparkling Mango Mojito after they made me another Mango tea and they had no problem making me exactly what I wanted. I give this shop overall 4/5 for their very cute interior design, great customer service, and extensively large menu for toppings, drinks, and food items. They are also coming out with seasonal and unique drinks throughout the year. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks is below average. Most of the tea drinks/bases feel very watered down and some drink flavors are not very strong. I think they do their fruit teas (without milk) decently and that's what I will continue to get. We got the black sesame milk tea which was disappointing. It felt very watered down and the sesame flavor was faint and artificial. We also tried the tiramisu cheese foam oolong which was good! The cheese foam had a strong savory flavor that contrasted well with the sweeter and lighter tea. The tiramisu flavor and coffee power on top gave it a great flavor. Last time I was here I got the lychee green tea with boba which was good! I would come back again if in the area. They have plenty of seating indoors with a bunch of cute decorations. Great grand opening this week. Upon entering, you are taken aback by the great decor and it was aesthetically pleasing (definitely instagram worthy). The menu is very easy to read and order from. You have your norms of milk teas & fruit teas, as well as macchiato, coffee, smoothies, and their own signature drinks. Also available are hot food and desserts such as macaroons. I like to judge tea places for their actual taste of tea and not pure sugary drinks, and Pika hit the spot with actually tasting the tea flavor. It came chia seeds and fruit pieces. My partner enjoyed the Coffee Frappuccino as it was not overly sweet and real coffee was present. This came with whipped topping and also coffee jelly pieces. Overall very good place so far. The order did not take long to make and a girl (owner?) came from behind the counter and was very nice to talk to us and gave us more info on the place as well as what they have to offer. I just recently discovered Pika Teas after my work commute changed routes. I was eager to try this place as I love a very particular competing boba place around Greensboro. First choice was Pineapple strawberry fruit tea with strawberry jelly and strawberry pop. Amazing would be an understatement. Fresh fruit, fresh mint and delectable boba. A little on the sweet side but it's perfection to me. For a quick bite, I chose the popcorn chicken snack as well. Perfectly golden and crispy atop a bed of green onion and cilantro. Honey mustard was the perfect compliment for me. Would order again. I was so impressed with the fruit tea that I ordered a brown sugar boba tea on the way out. It was fantastic! They charged $0.80 for no ice which is absurd. For three drinks it cost $22, only two of which had a topping. Service was also slow for them only having four different orders. I was so excited to be able to visit Pika Tea on their grand opening weekend! When I walked inside I was so impressed by how beautifully decorated it was and the very friendly staff that greeted me. I ordered the Coffee Frappuccino which had a great coffee flavor and I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee jelly inside. I will definitely be back for another! I've heard about Pika Tea for a while and I was excited checking this place out. Overall it's a big space and you'll see a lot of cute decor around! When looking at the menu it's a little pricy for what you get compared to other boba places I've been to outside of Greensboro. My friend and I decided to get two drinks, brown sugar boba and oolong milk tea. My friend loved her brown sugar boba and for my oolong tea it was good but for me it was a little sweet. Next time I'll ask to see if they make it less sweetened. One good thing is that I did taste the oolong tea and it wasn't overpowering with the milk, which I don't like. We had bought a $50 gift card for my cousin. The new owner refused to allow us to use the gift card because of the ownership change. Bonus for being able to substitute almond milk or lactose free milk for those, like me, who are lactose intolerant. I got a milk swirl with almond milk while my wife got a strawberry kiwi smoothie. The milk swirl was both hot and cold which I loved. The hot brown sugar mixed with cold boba milk was delightful. The smoothie packed a serious punch of fruit flavor with chunks of fruit and boba mixed in. Both drinks I highly recommend. Also got the fried fish balls for a snack. I enjoyed it but I wish it was fried a bit more to make it crunchy instead of chewy. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone as it is very unique. Visiting North Carolina from Vancouver I was a bit weary of the Bubble Tea compared to home. I was very pleasantly surprised with this very refreshing flavour. It was the perfect level of sweet for me and great portion. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure to double check the order so that there were no mistakes. I will say however it was a longer wait than I would expect for one drink BUT I do understand that they are also a business that has an amazing food menu that customers ahead of me were ordering. We used to frequent this place until the consistency of the drinks tanked. Pika Tea used to be our go-to place for boba in Greensboro. Cute store with comfortable seating, board games, fast service, and--most importantly--good tea with warm boba. That was until a few months ago. They raised prices, got rid of stamp cards, and most crucially: their tea became extremely inconsistent. Even with the exact same order, sometimes it was way too sweet, or not sweet at all. Tea too strong. Tea too weak. Tea just right. What will you get? Who knows! The tea wasn't consistently bad: but you'd get a more reliable result in a casino, and I don't visit a boba shop for an authentic gambling experience. This issue persisted after several weeks, and is probably due to problems training employees. Other chains in the area may not have the same selection or the same quality Pika Tea used to have, but at least I'm not getting the loot box treatment when I order a drink. 3 stars because that's really the average. read more

They also have a variety of different bobas to choose from which I haven't seen too many times. Service is good. Sometimes you have to wait a little while after ordering if they have orders in front of yours. The main reason I didn't give a higher rating is because they charge you 4% if you pay with a card. Be happy that I'm supporting your establishment and don't penalize me for doing so. read more
