Hate to do it, but this place has taken a significant turn for the worse, at least for now. Bobo Cafe is under new ownership since our last visit, and it shows. The inside was messy with boxes in the main dining area, service was decent but not as good as before, and unfortunately the food has slipped as well. The poke bowl had noticeably less protein, and the ramen, while still tasty, lacked the depth of flavor it once had. Maybe this is just part of the transition and some growing pains, but it's hard not to notice the difference from top to bottom. My daughter and I have been trying to sample boba around the area to find the best one. We discovered this one the other day. It's in a busy location off Westover Terrace and Battleground ave. The staff were nice and helpful, the establishment was a little different. Lots of random things throughout like a table of Asian themed items for sale, a back corner of random stuff, and a led light design half hanging off the wall. While waiting on our drinks an air freshener on the wall was so strong it was making me develop a headache. The kids enjoyed playing the mini video game while waiting. The menu has a lot to choose from, but I felt it was on the pricier side for the boba drinks. We both got brown sugar milk tea. It was decent, but not one that we would return to get. We are glad we tried Bobo cafe but would probably not return. Just nothing stand out about it. read more

Really great food and options here, menu can be a little overwhelming but workers are friendly! A little bit on the slower side service wise but worth it for the hot and fresh food made to order! I ordered ahead and still had to wait a bit for pickup despite it being completely empty inside. And just a heads up, everything is a couple dollars cheaper ordering instore versus online ahead of time so may be worth it to just go in-person even if you are in a time crunch. I really thought this restaurant was too cute. I loved the service. There was plenty of seating. I ordered ramen and edamame for take out. The packaging was nice and nothing spilled on the way home. The miso broth was so flavorful. I poured it over the noodles and ingredients. Extra ingredients cost more. I added spinach and corn with shrimp. It was totally worth it. I will definitely return. Next time, I may dine in. They have games to entertain you while you wait or to enjoy after your meal. read more

I've actually been going to Bobo Cafe since the week it opened and I love it. The menu selection is so expansive, and I believe they have the best priced bubble tea in all of Greensboro. Also, I am usually a plain nigiri person, but I absolutely love Bobo's sushi burrito. It's delicious. They also sell a lot of cute goodies, have fun games (claw machine, video game machine, pool table), and have cute decor situated all around the store. When I first started going they didn't have a punch card yet, but they have one now and that's my favorite thing a boba place can have. Definitely a good incentive for frequent visits. read more

Pretty good! Definitely not eye catching from the outside but give it a try- the food is good. I got a build your own poke bowl with sushi rice, salmon, grilled shrimp, edamame, mango, and cucumber. The food was surprisingly good. The poke bowl was a good size, I was definitely full after. The bowls also come with a cup of miso soup which was a nice add. The price was decent for what youre getting. They have a very large menu with lots of options. The service was pretty slow- it took a while for my to-go order to be ready which was my main complaint. It came with up to 2 proteins (I chose tuna and shrimp tempura), your choice of rice (I chose sushi rice), up to 3 veggies (I chose avocado, carrots, and cucumbers), up to 2 toppings (I chose sesame and tempura flakes), and up to 2 sauces (I chose teriyaki and eel mixed in). The bowl also came with a side of miso soup. Food was plentiful and tasted fresh! I want to try their sushi burritos next time. Pro tip: order in-person because it is more expensive online with their fees. Cute boba place with good selection of food! Staff is very friendly. You can play pool & foosball for free, which makes it a really cool place to hang out with friends. For food, we ordered misubi, takoyaki, and seafood ramen. Overall, they were pretty good. The best was the misubi and the takoyaki could've been a little crispier. For drinks, we ordered Thai milk tea and mango milk tea. Mango milk tea was pretty good, the Thai tea didn't taste like Thai tea, unfortunately. Nice to see a boba spot in this location. I ordered a Thai milk tea w/ boba and it was decent; Boba was nice and chewy. They have a large menu of milk and fruit teas to choose from as well as having food items, like hibachi, sushi, poke bowls, etc. What caught my eye is that they use Kung Fu Tea products to make some of their drinks, so I thought that was interesting. I didn't have very high expectations when I was talked into eating lunch here today but was I wrong. It was delicious! The menu is limited but sometimes that is what is needed to perfect certain menu items. I ordered the Poke Bowl with chicken, lettuce, spinach, carrots, brown rice, and teriyaki sauce. It was absolutely scrumptious and very filling. My son ordered the Ramen Bowl which he really enjoyed. The restaurant is really small so not a great place to hang out with friends so I will order out in the future. The employees were very friendly but the Christmas tree in the lobby needs to go! Lol. Found this place by google, and chose it based on its newness, location, and large menu. Staff was friendly and fast. Sushi rolls were delicious and the boba teas were all tasty. There are games to play while you wait for your food and plenty of tables. The dining area wasn't the cleanest (games strewn about, chairs and tables all disorganized) but it was all due to the consumers leaving a mess after they left and shortly after we arrived they had an influx of consumers that gave them no time to clean the area. Their spicy tuna isn't chopped, which is nice, and they include 2 proteins in the price automatically. On the flip side, they don't have any pre-determined poke bowls/recipes, so you have to know exactly what you want for your toppings. Brown sugar Milk tea: the bobas were just the right chew! The bobas were so soft and chewy and they were sweet. Cooked so well!! And the milk tea was creamy with strong tea flavor. I got it delivered a few weeks ago. We ordered a steak and shrimp hibachi. The steak was tender and the shrimp not over cooked. There was an up charge for fried rice or noodles, but none on white rice or brown, so I got brown. It was brown rice, slightly chewy and bland. No surprise there. What brought me to sadness was the liquid amount of my sauces and soup. They were all half full. I assume this is due to delivery, to not spill everything. I loved the medley of veggies!
