A little piece of heaven in every bite. My family has been meaning to try this cozy restaurant and finally got the chance. Ambience was great, felt really comfortable while dining in. Staff was very friendly while cleaning inbetween helping tables showing they care about keeping standards high. The food was amazing. I had the tonkotsu ramen, my wife had the curry rice bowl, and my daughter had the kids shoyu ramen. Everything was perfect. No complaints. We also got to try the crab rangoons and gyoza. The rangoons were on the sweeter side with a creamy inside and crunchy outside. The gyoza was fried so it was crunchy with a meat filling that was nicely flavored. We were so happy with our experience we decided to get take-out the next day. Food was definitely thought out when prepared since the ramen had specialty plastic bowls to prevent soggy noodles. For me, this is the best Japanese food and ramen in the triad. Nothing beats the flavor and care put into every dish. Iso Iso issa REAL ramen! The pork Tonkotsu Ramen is a home run. 100%. Like, don't sleep on it. It's served with rich broth and plenty of meat. My favorite part was how well balanced it was and how it was served on a nice presentable bowl. No disposable plastic. Isobel's Shoyu Ramen with braised beef is also very good. Tasty and tender beef. I enjoyed getting extra ramen too. Seriously, the Tonkotsu pork strips were soooo good. I prefer mine with a little char, but it was still amazing here. I ordered oolong milk tea with crystal boba and it was flavorful! Now I do wish the food was a bit more flavorful. For instance, the edamame only had salt and chili powder on the top. I feel the flavor could've been more elevated if it was on some kind of sauce. The ika gesso and chicken karage batter could have also been more flavorful as well. I'm always amazed at how fast the food comes out. Even when it's a packed house. The food has been piping hot and presentation photo worthy. Woah, this ramen place rocks. In a little cove in the Palladium shopping center this is a must try if you like ramen. Arrived with the wife and inlaws for dinnerl. We all started with some edamame, dumplings, and buns. The edamame was very good, but obviously not nearly as exciting as the other apps. The Dumplings were crispy and delicious, and the sauce was perfect with it. The buns were also amazing, while I always beer towards the pork buns, I was very impressed with the fried chicken one, super crispy, but juicy chicken and the buns were perfectly soft. For Ramen I got the Tonkasu. The brother has excellent deep flavor, and the pork was perfectly paired. My wife got the iso iso with pork instead of the spicey beef, I tried it it was also very good but the broth was a bit too spicey for me. Great place to check out if you love Ramen. read more

Step aside, Tampopo, there's a new ramen place in town! I'm so happy that Yelp guided me to this new spot when I was craving noodles one night. My first impression of Iso Iso was via take out order. It was close to closing time, and we didn't want to hold them up so we ordered some ramen to go. We shared an order of Karaage Chicken, and I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen as my entree. We were really impressed with the innovative nested packaging which prevents the noodles from getting soggy. Even without it being as hot as a dine-in experience, we were still very impressed with how delicious everything was. This sealed the deal for us to visit for a sit down dinner. When we enjoyed our in-person experience, we went all in. To start we ordered the Chashu Buns because pork belly is one of my weaknesses. The buns were so soft and pillowy, and the lettuce and cucumber added nice freshness. I also ordered a Mango Milk Tea with popping boba. At first I wasn't sure about the popping boba because I hadn't had it before, but our server convinced me to try it. It definitely added some interesting mouthfeel! This time I ordered the Iso Iso Ramen because it had been highly recommended to me. Spiced ground beef and corn are not ingredients that I have ever experienced in a bowl of ramen before. In a spicy, cream chicken broth it all comes together so beautifully on the palate. They even have a huge list of options to add-on, so you can create a customized bowl of ramen to your taste. High Point's newest ramen spot is potentially also its best. At the very least, Iso Iso is the best equipped for dine-in. Décor is more than just functional here: the dark brick and woodwork is sleek and modern. Moreover, Iso Iso seemed to be well-staffed with folks who seemed to enjoy working there. A restaurant's opening weeks can be stressful, and the absence of hangdog expressions or abject panic bodes well. Iso Iso's menu features Japanese apps, rice bowls, ramen, and boba teas. The latter two can be customized with add-ons and toppings. Whether you are a vegetarian or craving salty meat, like spicy or prefer mild, you should be able to find something here. For our first visit, my wife and I split an order of Chashu Buns and a Tonkatsu Ramen (to which we added black garlic oil). Our food came out quickly, and the ramen was a plentiful portion. At $17, it was not the cheapest in town, but the execution made it worthwhile. The broth was rich, and flavorful, and the black garlic oil added another dimension that we didn't realize we were missing. Toppings included pork belly, a marinated egg, mushrooms, bamboo, corn, and scallion, and they didn't skimp on any of them. The Chashu Buns - good balance of refreshing and salty, excellent sauce - were a winning choice as well. Boba/ramen/poke shops are no longer the novelty that they once were, but even in an increasingly competitive market, Iso Iso has the combination of fast and friendly service and well-executed food needed to make a name for itself. The stars were for location and ease of getting a table. The peach tea with boba was good. It wasn't very sugary. The restaurant is small but very modern and trendy. They paid a great deal of attention to the decor and dishes. I wish the same amount of attention was given to the food. I ordered the chicken rice bowl. It is actually served on a plate. It was not good to me. The rice was gummy. The chicken was just a boiled chicken breast shredded (No seasoning and a bit dry) and stacked on top of the white rice. There was about half a cup of corn, edamame, egg and crunchy onions on the side. There was one non shredded bok choy on the side. The dish was then drenched in a seasoned mayo type sauce. I was not impressed at all. I had to add flavor by drenching it with the soy sauce and spicy sauce that was on the table. The gyoza seemed like it was originally frozen...almost store bought. What annoyed me the most in this visit is my friend got her ramen. My dish and her daughter's dish came like 10-15 mins later. She had to start eating because she had a warm dish. My food came and it was room temperature. My friend didn't like her ramen and her daughter didn't like her buns. This was underwhelming. I may return for a casual visit for bubble tea or desert, but not for a meal. We had enough variety to make the decision. At the end of the service checking out was a task. We asked for take out boxes. Only one was brought. We tried to check out. She handed the handheld device and walked away. We didn't know how to use it for the second check. Welp, definitely excited about this new spot for ramen, apps, and boba! We stopped in just two short days after opening, and left very impressed by the flavors, the service, the aesthetic of the restaurant, and the speed at which everything came to us. This is going to be a spot we visit again and again! We wanted to try a little of everything, so we got a peach bubble tea with mango popping jellies to share. Next time, we would go with 50% sweetness, but honestly, that sweet paired very well with the hearty ramen flavors, so it was all good. It was very tasty on it's own! We got a pair of Chashu steamed buns as an app, these have a nice thick slice of crispy pork belly inside them. The buns were fluffy, and the accompanying sauce made for an excellent balance. Tastes all on point. That said, i felt it was a little expensive for two buns, three would have been just right. But oh... the RAMEN! We each chose a bowl, my wife went for the number 1, Iso Iso Ramen. I went for the 4, Isobel's Shoyu ramen. We swapped bowls halfway through and also sprung for an extra marinated egg. While both were undeniably delicious, I found myself taken aback by the Iso Iso Ramen. For one, I had never had a ramen with seasoned ground beef in it before, i usually gravitate toward the pork. Now though, I am a believer! Not only was this easier to spoon up, but the spicy flavor of the broth was something I never wanted to end. It almost had a bit of a buffalo sauce flavor, but it just lingered with a wonderful heat. MAN. I want another bowl. This isn't to say the Shoyu ramen wasn't also delicious, the braised beef was super tender, like a nice pot roast. Your first thought is why beef comes in a chicken based broth, but it works, I assure you. There was not a drop left in either bowl, and we both commented on the fact they don't skimp on the amount of noodles. They came around with a sample of their oreo mochi donut for dessert, and this was delightful. I'd come back just for a donut and a snack. But i don't see how I wouldn't also order ramen. Wow! Oh man, Iso Iso opened at the perfect time of year! It is soup season and I've already been twice in 2 weeks. Great and convenient location in the Palladium shopping center right next to a revolving sushi restaurant (not yet opened). The staff was very kind and attentive. They took the time to explain items on the menu we had questions about. The restaurant had plenty of table and booth seating and was well-decorated and clean. I selected the "Iso Iso Ramen" which is spiced ground beef in a very spicy and rich broth. I've never had something like this when it comes to Ramen, so I was intrigued and was so happy I got it. It was amazing! Burst of flavor and heat (the good kind, not the kind that just burns without flavor) with generous portions of meat and broth. High point has a new ramen spot and we needed to try it after seeing a very convincing ad! We went on a Sunday around 6:00 and were seated immediately. We ordered the kuraage chicken buns, iso iso ramen, and isobel's shoyu ramen. The ramen came out within 5 minutes. Both were hot, which was great for a rainy night, and displayed beautifully! The iso iso ramen was great, a great amount of spice, the beef was cooked well, and the broth was warm and delicious. The isobel's shoyu ramen was also great, not spicy so we added some chili oil, and the noodles were cooked perfect. The kuraage chicken buns came out a bit after and were hot, sauced well, and a great side snack. We got some boba to-go (not pictured) we got a mango fruit tea and a taro milk tea. Both came default 100% sweet and were great. The mango fruit tea tasted the smallest bit bitter on the end compared to other boba I've had but not enough to bother me. Overall everything was great. The only complaint we both had, which was only a suggestion is that the bok choy in the ramen wasn't separated at the base so we had to bite the leaves off the stem. Like I said, not a big deal at all, just a preference. 100% will be returning to try more! 5/5 read more

It was very lukewarm. There were very few people in there so it didn't sit out to cool off. I hope it wasn't placed into a microwave. But that bothered me a lot. I also ordered a brown sugar boba tea, which I liked. It's a flavor that can't go wrong for me at any place that sells boba milk teas. Newly opened ramen spot in High Point NC, the inside of the restaurant is so nicely done. Nice LED lights, and they have this beautiful flower arrangement on the ceiling. I got the potato croquettes, and the vegetable ramen which was thankfully made in vegetable broth. Usually most places they use pork broth or chicken broth, so having a vegetable broth for vegetarians is a huge plus! I also got the Thai tea which was delicious. The place is a small shop at the palladium shopping center. Its neat with 2 tv in opposite directions. At the time we went it was airing 2 animes. The food menu is simple, but the food was served within minutes after ordering. The meat in my ramen (pork belly) is flavorful and so soft it melted in my mouth. Great ramen spot in High Point (Right next to Shinjuku Station). Not a ton of options on the menu but I think it actually helps make it easier to choose. The Iso Iso is pretty spicy FYI but it was super tasty and the pork belly ramen bowl is excellent. We also tried a rice bowl and several apps including their new spring rolls (they were good but pretty heavy on the onion flavor). We wrapped up our meal with the mochi donuts... if you buy 5 you get the 6th one free for $15. There are 8 different flavors so this is a pretty good way to try multiple options and they go quick! This trip to Iso Iso Ramen was my first. I was looking for a new restaurant to visit in High Point when I found it on Google. When I walked inside, I was greeted and seated by a very friendly server. I noticed how beautifully decorated the restaurant was and found it nostalgic that anime was playing in the background. I don't normally order anything spicy, and this had a good kick of flavor to it. First time trying ground beef in ramen, and it was great! I added an extra egg to mine. My fiancé ordered the Isobel's Shoyu Ramen. Good flavor but after trying mine, there is no comparison! The beef reminded me of eating pot roast. On my first visit, I tried the Iso Iso Ramen, swapping the ground beef for pork. It was delicious but a little spicier than I expected. On my second visit, I went for Isobel's Chicken Ramen but subbed the chicken for pork, and wow, this was my absolute favorite. Their Chashu pork is to die for, tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in the broth. Every bite was packed with umami, and the ingredients came together beautifully. I also tried their oolong milk tea, and one of the employees (maybe even the owner?) personally brought it to me, saying I was his favorite customer for ordering his favorite boba. That was such a nice touch! The tea itself was very good, and I can't wait to explore more flavors. As for appetizers, the takoyaki is phenomenal; crispy on the outside, perfectly tender inside, and so flavorful. Hands down my favorite starter.
