One of the best boba drinks I've had! Kung Fu Tea is my personal favorite boba place to go. They have varieties of options in their menu from good quality drinks to yummy toppings. They also have special drinks that come during seasons or events. They're worth a try. The service is quick and attentive. The place is small but people mainly go there just to pick up, so it's not suffocating. The drinks are tasty and refreshing, albeit pricey but worth for the quality. My go-to is the Coco Cream Wow! I mainly use their app to order online, trust me if you go there often I would recommend making an account and order online so you accumulate points for rewards and have great deals during special days! Happy boba drinking! :) read more

Kung Fu Tea - Left is the Oreo Wow and right is the Coco Cream Wow from the Milk Strike section. I would recommend! It's not too sweet and creamy! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Taro tea for the win! And add the boba! I'm very excited about this place being here in Abq, it reminds me of my life abroad in Asia. Highly recommend- definitely a must if you enjoy Taro tea. Pro tip- make sure you have at least 15 minutes to wait from ordering time, the drinks are made to order and are specifically for you with your specifications! read more

This place has a nice decor and the menu seems self explanatory. I do regret not ordering the Purple Yam Latte because I didn't notice a sign for it till we picked up our drinks. The sign advertising the drink was tucked back hidden behind another sign. The Taro Milk Tea was on point, just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. The boba was nice and soft to my personal preference. I would order it again. read more

Hands down to the best boba tea shop in town. The boba is made daily and it's fresh! There so many flavors and toppings to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of space to seat down and enjoy your drink. The ambience is casual and more relaxed compared to other boba places. The best drink in my opinion is the milk tea with milk cap and their options are all lactose free so you have no excuse as a lactose person not to try this boba! read more

I've had it several times, and love the flavor, however the teas always give me a massive stomachache. I get boba from different places all the time, I don't know why this place just doesn't agree with me. read more

So our favorite place as closed so we came here. So while it looks cool the menu is very confusing. When trying to order the lady does not understand and keeps saying no. Tried to order something different but was told no. The drink was so so, it was not like I wanted it to be. I see the place is in a good location as there are a lot of customers read more

They are so disorganized. Messed up a lot of orders and the man and woman yell at each other a lot. You can't pick how much sugar or cream for a standard coffee. The bathrooms are closed as a nice capper to this experience. They took the slow boat to China in getting me a regular coffee as well. If you have 17 minutes and came from a dysfunctional childhood this may be your spot. Bring your own bathroom as well. read more

This was my first time here, I have been seeing friends post about this place. It is off Coors and at a great location. A lot of other businesses in he mini mall where they are located at. A very busy location for sure. The staff is very friendly, but we were not offered any help on the menu. The menu is a bit overwhelming. I would've wanted to have someone walk me through what would be good with what on the menu. But it didn't happen, maybe because they were busy that day. We got to try the Taro Milk Tea and the Thai Milk Tea with Boba. I say, that this place is not as expensive as the boba you would buy at the mall. And the fact that there is so much to choose from, especially that you can adjust your sweetener level is pretty awesome. We enjoyed the items that we ordered today. I will always want to visit this location, hoping they get other locations open especially in Rio Rancho. read more

Want to enjoy your boba with some games or a nice chat? Come here! The staff is friendly and helpful when ordering. I got the coconut milk tea and my bf got the taro milk tea. Both great choices! This place is great for meet ups with friends. Kung Fu Tea offers plenty of games to play while you drink your tea. This place was definitely busy! Orders were being placed over the phone and they were popping them out on to go trays. I'd definitely come back when in the area! read more

LOVVVVVEEEE!!!!! Customer service, all drinks, and the quality of those drinks, 10/10. The boba teas look cool, taste great, definitely recommend this place. Worth it for sure. You wont regret it, they have something for everyone. Only issue I have is that the milky products there are no dairy free replacement options, like coconut milk, soy, almond, etc.. that's all that's missing read more

I am absolutely ecstatic that there is finally a Kung Fu Tea in Albuquerque. I first heard about this amazing boba place when I lived in Las Vegas, NV. I instantly fell in love with them and missed it when I moved to NM. I had no clue that there was going to even be on in town, but I saw an ad on my Instagram for it and immediately freaked out. I went there last night, and there was quite a line but it moved quickly. The staff were very friendly and knew what was in their products. They had a deal going on, BOGO on four certain drinks from 2/8-2/10. I got an Oreo Wow and a Red Wow. Both very delicious! They have a Kung Fu Tea app where you can earn rewards so I downloaded the app, but they do not have the machine yet so you aren't able to get rewards yet which is totally understandable considering it was Grand Opening Night last night. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be heading back! read more

Kung Fu Tea - Large Red Wow - Bubble Tea Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Passion fruit green tea with mango popping boba and mango green tea with regular honey boba and mango jelly were delicious! The mango green tea comes with slices of mango jelly by default. Drinks were ready in just a few minutes and each drink and straw are individually sealed. Cashier had trouble hearing me through my mask and plastic barrier so will order ahead with the app next time. In the app you can easily adjust sweetness level and earn points towards free drinks. The Kung Fu tea app also has a promo for a free month of Funimation - doesn't look like a purchase is necessary. Looking forward to trying some of their Milk Strike teas as they're made with Lactaid milk and I usually have to avoid most milk tea since I'm lactose intolerant. read more

This is my second time here and I'm not super impressed. I've read a lot of reviews suggesting the taro milk tea. This is actually my favorite milk tea anywhere, except here. It didn't have any flavor! It tasted like sweet milk. Last time I had the brown sugar milk tea and it was bland. Not sure how likely I am to come back here. On the upside, their boba was cooked to perfection . read more

Kung Fu Tea - Taro milk tea. No color and no flavor! Tastes like sweet milk. - Bubble Tea Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Update: I feel that the owner needs to work on his customer service skills. If you're going to take orders, you need to listen to your customers and not talk over them. My husband said he wanted the "honey tea milk cap black tea", the owner asked what type of tea "green, black, or oolong?". When the tea came out, it was not milk cap but regular honey tea. If the owner had listened the first time instead of talking over him, the order would be correct. Instead of apologizing for the owner mistake, he just brushed us off and said "the milk cap is extra, but I won't charge you for it" ridiculous! Just listen! We were surprised to find a Kung Fu tea here in Albuquerque. The place is located in a big plaza. We had to drive around couple of time to find it. Probably won't be coming back because it shouldn't be a struggle to order a simple drink. I don't recommend this place to anyone unless customer service improved or the owner decide to step back from the registry! Don't harass your customers with your bossy attitude! read more

This place has tasty drinks however, the old man that works the register is extremely rude. We asked for 3 Mango Green teas with Boba AND Lychee. He proceeds to bark at us that boba and lychee are the same thing. They aren't. It was uncomfortable being barked at in front of others so I gave up and just said Ok.. and this is what we ended up with, crystal bubbles?? No boba, no lychee. Just crystal bubbles? The drink is good but it doesn't cure our craving for boba. if you walk in and see him, immediately walk out and go somewhere else. He isn't worth the hassle I called back several times to notify a manager but no one ever answered. read more

The boba was very good and was tasty the service was ok it took a little long. It's also a cool area with good music and design.

What a great addition to the Albuquerque area boba scene. Sometimes Kung Fu teas can be a hit or miss but this spot hits it out of the park. We ordered ahead of time and our drinks came out promptly and there were no mistakes. I always ask for less ice and they made sure mines was not full to the brim. The tea itself was delicious. I'm a sucker for oolong and the tea flavors were strong and it really hits the spot when it's hot outside. The boba at this spot was also phenomenal. It was chewy and soft and a bit sweet, perfect! Will definitely be making my way over there for more oolong milk tea in the future! read more

Order prior to pick up so you can get in and out!! They are always busy BUT the variety of drinks is immense and you will find what you like I guarantee. I honestly go back and forth between these drinks and SB. The milk teas have a caramel toasty flavor to them. I ask for 50% on sugar because I do t like too sweet but the coffee flavor come through and that wonderful roasted flavor. read more

This is a great spot if you are on the west side of town. Their drinks come in two sizes: medium and large. My favorite part of this place is that their milk is lactose free! If you order your drinks with boba they come with A LOT of boba....they definitely don't skimp at all! I got the pineapple milk cap tea. I'm not sure if the milk cap was worth it. It was only small layer of frothy milk at the top. I could hardly taste it. Probably the biggest downside of my Sunday visit was the wait time. This place was bumpin' and had a huge line. It took 25 minutes for us to get our drinks after we ordered. There also isn't a ton of seating space so it felt crowded. Overall, if I'm ever on this side of town again I'll probably be back! read more

When it comes to a chain spot like Kung Fu Tea its either a hit or miss depending on where you go. This place is definitely a HIT! Absolutely delicious boba! Won't be back anytime soon.. The older gentleman working the register needs a crash course in customer service. I'm a stickler with customer service, your product is only as good as your customer service. He doesn't want people asking questions, he wants to rush the line and he talks to people like we are inconveniencing him. I've only been here one other time so I'm not familiar with the drinks and when I asked a question about the drink he answered like I was dumb and knew what was in the drink. read more

I love coming here! I've always went to the ones whenever I went to Vegas and now they opened here in ABQ! I was getting tired of boba tea company and their drinks. Kung fu Tea definitely has way more flavors and way more toppings for your drinks! Service there is great, the workers are especially nice. I've been going here quite a bit and the father of the owner is always so friendly and remembers you. They also have games to play like exploding kittens (very fun) and more. Definitely the best boba read more

This place is AWESOME. I frequent the Sprouts in the same plaza and has been eyeballing this place for awhile. I had the kung fu milk tea, which is the most popular option. I had boba in it and I got it less sweet (30% of the original sweetness) with less ice. I love the fact that you can choose how sweet you want the drink and how much ice they put in it. I hate getting a drink that is mostly ice. I didn't pay for ice, right? Anywho..back to the drink. It was perfection. It was slightly sweet and creamy..and the boba added that fun texture that I was wanting. Ill definitely be back to try another option. Or not...my drink was so good that I might just stick with it. Regardless, I'll be back :). read more

Finally, I found a boba place in ABQ that's actually really good and with most of the options under $5. The place was spotless and a great place to bring in kids. The thing I love about this place the most is that their drinks are lactose intolerant friendly. read more

I'm giving this place three stars because although the flavor if the coconut milk tea is alright, they did not put enough ice so receiving it the ice was melted and the drink was not cold. I can't tell you how exciting it is to find an authentic boba tea shop in Albuquerque. We've tried numerous incarnations around town to find a lot of powders and hardened boba concoctions. So imagine our excitement when heard that Kung Fu Tea was opening here. What makes things different here? #1) Fresh Boba. Can't tell you how much better small-batch fresh boba tastes versus the typical Russian Roulette our past experiences have been. Soft, fluffy, and a little chewy, just like the authentic tea houses in Asia. #2) Real tea leaves. Powdered drinks have flavor but usually lack depth. These enhance and deepen the flavor whether you choose Green or Oolong teas, you can taste the tea flavor. #3) Options. While overwhelming the first visit, the fact that there is a range of options like the popular-in-Asia MilkCap drinks to traditional slushes, there's a drink to satisfy all types. If in doubt start with the standard milk tea with boba. From there try out the others to see what you like. My personal favorites are Honey Oolong and Almond Milk teas. But can't go wrong with any of their options. read more

This is mine and my family's favorite boba stop! This location stands out to us because they have so many new and refreshing varieties to offer! Our regular drinks are the almond milk tea, kung fu milk tea, winter melon tea, and honey tea. You can't have boba tea without the boba... so dont forget the add on's! We had also tried the passion fruit tea, oreo milk tea, and red bean tea, back when they had the buy one get one deal. And my advice is to just finish your drinks same day, or else the boba Pearl's will just get tougher to chew. When you come to visit this place is usually a lot busier on the weekends, and when I come during the weekday (around noon) I am just in and out with my drinks in hand. read more
