From the moment you walk in, the vibe pulls you in: quirky, playful, and full of personality. The decor alone feels like a conversation starter. Where else are you going to see two kiwis watching a sloth and a teddy bear play for real cash? Exactly. The drinks hold their own, too. The dirty chai with boba hit that perfect afternoon reset--smooth, energizing, and just indulgent enough. The Thai tea is another standout, whether you go classic or add boba for a little extra texture. Bottom line: fun atmosphere, memorable details, and drinks that deliver. Starry Moon isn't just a stop--it's an experience.

Not too sweet. The Thai tea didn't look like it had any milk in it. It was very strong. The black milk tea was ok but nothing to write home about. And I was disappointed they had no chai tea or spiced tea. The service was fine and answered our questions. It's a cute shop. Asian themed. I'm not sure we will be back.

The helpful worker at the counter walked us through the menu options, explaining what was possible for our non-dairy drinker and overall milk tea options. We got the royal milk tea, to-taro and rose matcha with coconut milk. All were delicious but we would have liked more brown sugar flavor for the boba. The inside was super cute with standard tables and a cozy seating area. Would definitely come back if we're in the area again.

That was such a good deal! I ended up picking one. The Blue Water Matcha drink. I honestly didn't know what that was..but fiured I wanted to try it. It turned out I think it was blue corale powder mixed into matcha....but..not really my taste at all. Next time, I guess I would try something different, as other drink combination may taste better. Place was clean and I liked that they were pretty tech advanced. You can order what you want via self-service screen! I can't wait to stop by again!

I saw Boba and got excited, so he offered to get me one. (He's the best!) I went with a matcha milk tea. The service was great, the lady behind the counter was very nice and sweet. Our drinks came out quickly and were delicious! They hit the spot and the boba was cooked perfectly in my opinion. I will be interested in getting a coffee blend next time, with boba, of course!

The drinks were tasty & on par with what I've had with good teahouses in Houston Asian town. There is an area to sit and hang out. This teahouse house has some notable cool things that none of the other ones I've tried in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho have offered. This is the only teahouse that 1) uses real fruit in their drinks, 2) have bingsu on the menu, & 3) have games to play. The place is nicely decorated with some cool themes & has a cool vibe. The only negative that I can think of is that their restroom wasn't working/accessible for customers at this time. After buying drinks for a group of 4 with children and hanging out playing games, someone will eventually need to use the restroom. They said we could walk to the restaurant across the way & use their restroom. ‍ This place may be good if you're in the area & want to grab a drink & go or don't plan on staying too long. Hopefully the restroom situation gets sorted out soon. I came back a week later to grab a drink & go since I was in the area and decided to update my review. The service was great and my drink came out quick just like the 1st time. I was acknowledged as I stepped up to the counter The workers were polite and answered my questions. This time I tried the dirty milk tea after reading the reviews. I was told it had consdensed milk and caramel. It was pretty awesome and packed full of flavor & sweetness. But scine I don't normally go for the super sweet drinks, it got to be a lil too much after a while. If I do pick it up again, I'd prob dial down the sweetness level. Overall, this teahouse has been the best one we've been to so far. I recommend stopping by & giving them a try. We'll try out the bingsu next time.
